Dev, is the BTC address in your sig/OP OK to send to? BCT user fairglu runs chainz, I think all he needs is the location of the git repo to compile from.

Hey, I whipped up an image for the front page of this thread to get the info out about Banknodes and organize things so that it's all easy to find.  I used a logo that someone named Litecoincollector posted in here a while back that everyone (including me) seemed to like a lot.  I can get this as a much higher quality image, so don't worry about that.  I'm just posting it to get any feedback or suggestions.  I'm not sure about all the numbers, so I'd like someone to double check those.  I searched through this thread to find a lot of the info and edited and organized what was already on the front page in order to make it a little easier to understand hopefully.  Anyway, let me know what you think.  The info has been kind of spread out and hard to find so hopefully this will help new users find what they're looking for quickly and give a professional look to a great project.

I like it, there are a few more words i'd like to add but already it capture the picture pretty well.

Can the rest of the community provide some feedback as well?

I think it's legit.

The information does need to be in an organized fashion in the OP.

Anyone else have any feedback on this?  Or should I get the final picture ready to go as-is?  Also, does anyone have a way to host high quality images?

What makes BCR so different? Apart from the usual chants of decentralization, it uses a platform that can provide secure mobile banking 24/7. And because everything is always online and available, you can do business anytime you wish. A possible future includes gateways for fiat currencies, allowing easy flow of money in and out of the system.

By creating true decentralized banking, an honest drive to reach the unbanked of the world can be made using a mobile platform. Because we are crypto based, such a system would be end to end encrypted and secure from unwanted access. In summary, the ever competitively low prices of smart phones now available to the globe allows market penetration in areas that our product can excel.

I edited these statements a little and added them to the graphic.  I'll post the new one in just a minute for more feedback.

Edited.  Changed some words here and there and edited and added in the dev's new comments.  Do the numbers look right to everyone in the Banknode section?   Thanks LitecoinCollector and dbt1033 for the logo design.  edit- changed hosting to imgur.  No one told me they could handle way bigger images...

I think it looks fantastic.  I don't think you should give credit for the logo in the OP.

Just my opinion.

The new OP should really help with adoption.  I'm sure many have no idea how big this really is.  Wink

Yeah, that's not in the actual thing, I just wrote that above it.  The background for the infographic is the same color as the post background.  Don't worry.  I tried to keep things as simple as possible and explain as much as possible.

I agree.  A lot of the information about Banknodes has been hard to find.  I pretty much re-read this entire thread looking for info to include.

Next I'm planning on getting a list and either making or paying someone to make a road map because that's the next thing people will wonder about when researching the coin.  First a general idea of the purpose and differences of the coin, second how they'll make money right now, third how the coin will progress and grow (making them more money) in the future.

It look awesome, but I think that it's missing some technical info (e technical description of the trust engine for example). Some features doesn't work, or doesn't work as supposed to do. We need a little more info from bitcreditscc.

Thank You for your tips!

Good point.

A technical description is a great idea.  Maybe BitcreditCC can write one.

Thanks for the input.  The way I see it, this explanation of what it is/will be and what it can do is probably enough info for the OP.  I want to keep things as simple and clear as possible for now because it's everyone's first impression, and maybe put more technical things like that in the wiki for people who are interested in learning the details?  I can add more if people think it would be beneficial though.

to avoid disruptions, i am putting my nodes on the longest chain. All connection issues should be resolved when my vps nodes go up since they hardcoded in everyone's wallet.

I would have wanted to take more time to fix voting, since it is crucial that the decision making process be less centralized , but we need the network moving more right now.

I want to thank those that took charge in my absence and did their best to keep things going.

source code is up already, windows version incoming

Can someone please update the blockexplorer?  I believe we're synced and on the longest chain but have no way to verify.

Thanks
