Don't mine if you haven't read this post. Currently I can't guarantee PPS payouts. If there will be not enough funds, I'll divide mined blocks proportionally between participants. Switch to 3334 port only if you know what you are doing.

Payouts for blocks mined since Sat, 29 Jun 2013 16:53:49 GMT (i.e. 20:53 server time, ~1100 LTC mined since this time) will be performed manually to withdrawal addresses. Also work log (more than 2 million shares) and resulting rewards will be published here. I'll do it a day later.

As the frontend to the pool is not working (stats etc.), does the user preferences page still apply for mining on the new port? Only because I have set my donations to a higher amount using this page as I want these preferences to be applied to the new mining circumstances. Thanks

Yes, you are still able to create/delete workers, for example. But it's not recommended to change anything in workers configuration. Current rounds payout will be handled manually, so there will be no direct influence. But I'll try to count donations also.

P.S. New system will be based on wallet addresses, i.e. it will require only address as user name for mining. Old front-end will continue limited operation on subdomain to provide users an opportunity to withdraw their funds when it will be available. We will try to cover the difference between old balance and returned funds by the fees and donations.

Really unfortunate what's happened. I'm mining on :3334. I hope more honest users come forward. Did I miss it or was there confirmation of an attack on the pool or was this a bug?

Really shitty. This is one of the best LTC pools. It's really sad the amount of scumbagery seeping in to cryptocoins. With DDoS attacks, 51%+ attacks, scams, botnets, pool manipulation, etc. Really poor and pathetic.

I hope the pool recovers, Balthazar. You've been too awesome and helpful to deserve this shit.

I'm happy to dedicate my hash power to help out what little I can....

It was a rewards calculation problem, caused by bug in vardiff handling by the new software. It was impossible to detect this problem using low hashrates, that's why offline testing wasn't helpful.

I hope more people come forward and send the funds back. I've been double-paid by an exchange and a mining pool and always sent the extra funds back. Of course there was a temptation to keep it, but that hurts the entire community as evidenced here.

I have pointed my work to the pool and port 3334 the last 2 days.  Are you able to calculate rewards there or should I stop mining since port 3333 is locked.

I always felt confident in the pool and was not too worried about having auto withdraw.

Unfortunately, with auto withdrawals situation would be the same, i.e. emty hot wallet in a few minutes.

Not the same:
yes - empty hot wallet as result of error too
but - much smaller amount of LTC loss due auto payments before error (many people lost many LTC due was lazy/busy to withdraw LTC every day and withdraw only once in a week for example)

Bpoдe бы былa peчь o 11000 пoтepянныx лaйтoв изнaчaльнo (пpaвдa из ниx oкoлo 2000 личныe мoнeты Бaльтaзapa, a ocтaльнoe нaчиcлeннoe, нo нe выплaчeннoe мaйнepaм). 7200 этo нaвepнo yжe зa вычeтoм мoнeт Бaльтaзapa и тoгo, чтo нeкoтopыe вывoдившиe y кoгo пpocнyлacь coвecть вepнyли нaзaд...

Hacчeт чтo нe пoнял п.1, п.2 - этo нa нoвoм движкe пyлa вмecтo PPS выплaт бyдeт. Чтo-тo типa cxeмы p2pool, кoгдa выплaты дeлaютcя пocлe кaждoгo нaйдeннoгo блoкa cpaзy нa кoшeльки вceм yчacтвoвaвшим в eгo дoбычe. (вce xopoшo - pиcки минимaльны, кpoмe кyчи oчeнь мeлкиx тpaнзaкций, мoнeты пoтoм из "пыли" нyжнo бyдeт coбиpaть и плaтить пoвышeннyю кoмиccию, чтoбы кyдa-тo иx oтпpaвить/пoтpaтить)
