It's not funny and answer to this questions is obvious for all, unfortunately.

There are two options:

1) Pay all frozen balances proportionally from available funds (1770 returned coins + my reserves), then close pool and forget or remember this;
2) Try to cover a part of frozen balances using fees, withdrawal limits and (possible) luck. This could take some time, but the final value will be higher than 1/3.

But anyway, it's almost impossible to pay all balances in full amount. For the reasonable time, at least. We simply don't have enough coins for such suicide action, and nothing could help us with that. You can see numbers on your balances, but again, the real funds volume is approximately 3 times lower than balances sum. Try to understand this before asking such questions, please.

I'm sorry for saying this words and it would be nice to say something different, but you are all deserve to know the truth before making any decision.

Balthazar my frozen funds are small (only a little over 8 coins) and I would rather loose some (or all) of them then see the pool close. I tried several pools before I settled on yours. I can only empathize with what must be your disappointment in the lack of returned funds and the possible ending of your pool.

The fact is that no matter what you do here some individuals will have negative reactions. So I hope you suit yourself and do exactly what is best for you. Your hard work and dedication has been awesome.

I think you should be persistant in asking for donations! People are aware that this is the far most honest pool out there. It deserves to be saved! We should open a asking donations thread for the pool and I am sure that LTCs in great amounts will come in. You should also except other currences for donations! Everybody will contribute as much as they can! I wouldnt give up on the pool. The lost amount seems huge, but when people unite it is nothing that cant be done!

Balthazar could be annoying for you these questions, but you must undestand that our money time, and energy goes here, not only you are investing life in this business.

Thanks for your answer,  here in my country we say "the more clear you speak, the more friends we are", so dont get upset about our questions, I need info to make a decission.

I think that B) option is the best, by far.

If you pay at least 1/3 of our credits, I promise to join again to ltcmine.ru (II), my hash power is low (only 1.4 Mhash/s), but I´ll increase if ROI soon, I´ll join even if you raise your fees to 5%, after that I think you can plan another paymen for next month or so. The raise in the fees could help to pay all the credits sooner.

Like me, I think too many people will do, but if you dont pay, your pools wont succeed.

But is you who have to make an appointment in the calendar and sayin this day I´ll pay 1/3 and the pool will be full functional.

Best wishes.

I choose Second options, and i think needs to add 1-2% fees+donate+luck+comissions to fund victims. That fund should be go to pay other full frozen payment.

The problem is that pool needs reserves to work. If I'll send this coins to users, pool will be unable to handle rewards correctly because of variance, orphans and payments for immature blocks. It's a suicide as is.

So, it's a dilemma: send 1/3 now and nothing more ever, or send limited amount and handle this balances by another way. As a shelved rewards, for example, get 0.5-1 LTC from each block to pay this rewards.

Maybe the second choice could be fine, if sending 1/3 is too high, maybe you can set an amount of maximum withdrawals of 2 LTC/Day per miner, and 0.5 LTC/day to those who dont contribute or feed the pool in some amount of shares.

Any choose would be bad, but you have to choose, many will be angry whatever decision you make.

"send limited amount and handle this balances by another way"  It's better than just get a 1/3. I think lot of peope will agree with it.

Balthazar it is only a dilemma because of your code of ethics. You are looking for ways to accept complete responsibility for what happened and as a result want to pay everyone everything.

Anyone here who has ever written a line of code in their lives understands what happened and has made similar mistakes. I remember making a modification at a customers plant and shutting the entire line down for 8 minutes. Eight minutes might not sound like much; but, it, represented multiple thousands of dollars. My customer forgave me and was actually glad that I recognized the error so quickly. It turned out that a similar incident several years earlier had shut them down for an entire shift. We are human and shit happens.

Any solution is good enough for me. I don't feel you owe me anything. I do want to continue mining at your pool.
