This coin is running solid for two and half years now.
Other coins' threads are about broken systems and bashing eachother. CBX clearly is on another level.
When someone here posts an issue, it gets the attention it needs, often within hours. Elambert is most dedicated since launch.
Since CBX has been developed for long term investors, many traders put their coins in the Vault to grow like an old Whiskey  Cheesy

Happy New Year everyone!

It is nice to see how flawlessly this new Vault version 2.1.1 and hard fork went... the Crypto Bullion network runs as solid as ever: Bravo Alex4J, amazing job!

Against all expectations, the cheapest CBX can be found now at Cryptsy (!); and I hear withdrawing BTC out of there is still a problem, but I have sent CBX back and forth from Cryptsy without any issue. There are no CBX withdraw problems from Cryptsy at this time, other than the limitations imposed by their infamous Tier system.

So grab your cheaper CBX while they are there, and fully benefit from PoSP...

Looks like UK. Done a quick checkup on site and thats where it leads me, try https://who.is/

Nothing like a home grown exchange. Great site too and has many themes to choose from to get it looking how you want it to.

Quick deposits also.

thanks killiz.......yeah, it's a little cheaper on cryptsy, but i'd like to get it in my wallet TODAY

i believe in a truly free market.  can you build a better mousetrap?  if you can, we the people should have the right to buy it, or not.
That's why cryptsy is going to lose business.
  and
that's why believe in CBX                       The world will eventually discover this         Grin

Lets hope the world discovers this before the tentacles wrap too tightly.

As long as an exchange steers away from trading Fiat pairs, I think the eye of Sauron will focus it's gaze elsewhere, and maybe escape forced regulation. For the time being anyway.

Sometimes when I leave my CryptoBullion vault wallet to stake overnight it intermittently crashes. Why is this? Should I try to re-download the blockchain?

' . . . it's a little cheaper on cryptsy, but i'd like to get it in my wallet TODAY.' Looks like the Ham Radio Coin guys gonna 'formally' bail on Cryptsy. Good!

I am upgrading my wallet tomorrow, and really really really looking forward to this year's coining, including CBX.

Try creating a new address for yourself within the 'receive bullion' tab and send your full balance to it.

Could be an overload of system memory causing the crash, this seems to sort the problem out on some operating systems.

How about getting CBX on board the Rokos Flavor?

http://rokos.space

DMD just got included, it would be great to have a Raspberry running a bitcoin node along with DMD and CBX, especially now with the new PoSP!

That would be awesome. I would give some bounty to who can get us there Smiley

Sometimes when I leave my CryptoBullion vault wallet to stake overnight it intermittently crashes. Why is this? Should I try to re-download the blockchain?

This may fix the issue on some systems.

Checking your memory(RAM) usage for the client

Sometimes high physical memory usage can cause a Vault to crash while open for staking. This can be because you don't have enough physical memory (RAM) installed on your system, or because the Vault is using an increased amount to stake.
To check to see if the problem applies to your Vault, first make sure your Vault is closed, then press and hold Ctrl+Alt+Delete (on Windows) and open the Task Manager and select the processes tab.
Now open your Vault, but keep it locked. Check to see if your memory usage for the Vault stays stable. It should be around 0.4 - 0.6 GB usage, but quite stable with no significant change.
Now to check to see if staking your CBX is causing the problem, simply unlock your Vault and check the memory usage.
Staking CBX is quite memory intensive so a rise will be expected. However over long periods of staking, usage can build up to a point which your system cannot handle and the Vault crashes.

Checking Your Addresses and Inputs

Sometimes a high number of staking addresses and 'inputs' can cause a massive increase in memory usage when staking.
To check your 'inputs' first you must enable Bullion control to access this information.
In your client click on 'Settings' then 'Options' and select 'Display'.
You now need to enable 'Display Bullion control features' then click 'apply' then 'ok'.

To view your inputs click on 'Send Bullion'. You will now have the extra Bullion control features options.
Click on 'Inputs' and you will see a list of your staking addresses. The easiest way to see your inputs is to select 'List mode'. You can also click the arrow to the left of each address in 'Tree mode' to see the inputs for each address.
These inputs within each address are the actual amounts that will individually compete for a proof of stake block on the network. So if you have a large list of inputs, these will all be trying to stake a block at the same time, and potentially using up quite a large chunk of your systems Physical memory.

Consolidating Inputs

Sometimes an easy fix for high memory usage is to consolidate your inputs into one larger input or a few significantly larger inputs. The easiest way to do this is to create a 'new address' within the 'Receive Bullion' tab, and simply send your full balance to it. 'Bear in mind that doing this will reset your coin age back to zero for 'every input' and you will have to wait another hour before being eligible for staking!'
If you are a little more skilled, and want to spend the time, you can check the boxes next to each input to send specific inputs to one of your addresses, this can be done to clean up any small or negligible amounts that probably wouldn't find a block anyway if left alone.

Be careful when sending funds to yourself, always double check that the address you are sending to is your own!!
