However, if you decide that you would rather just enjoy the gambling aspect of poker without an expectation of making money, I highly recommend brushing up on your trash talk.
Annnnnddddddd.... brushing your teeth with alcohol. Alcohol brings the fun to the tables.

Playing and not losing money in poker is long, frustrating journey.
I have to admit, Razzle is the expert on this... if you decide that you would rather just enjoy the gambling aspect of poker without an expectation of making money
...and on this. Better take notes.

You can't just go on and say- oh well the site is dead. You have to start the game.
So the site is full of bumhunters who don't gamestart? That's the definition of a dead site. Not at all, I'm not a bum and if I sit at a table- I will get action going. I get action from good players and bad players. Sometimes it turns into a full table. Just sit and wait and action of all skill levels will somehow find the table. What you are saying makes no sense. You say that there are no tables going and that people here have to start games. No games running = dead site. If there are people looking to play...they would be playing. For example, right now, there are 7 games running. 5 of them have open seats. Where are the players? Why are these games heads up? There are another 26 tables with one person sitting at them. They are trying to start the game. Why are the games not running? There are levels from 10plo all the way to 10kplo...nobody is looking to play. If what you are saying is that there are a bunch of people who are sitting around, watching the lobby, waiting for people to start tables (why don't they do it themselves?), but aren't playing the people who are sitting at the tables currently, the only logical explanation is that they are hardcore bumhunters who are just looking to pick off easy prey. So it seems like, of the 180 people online, 10 of them are looking to play (biggest game running: 20plo) and 170 of them are looking for bums to hunt. That's a dead site.

If you actually played on SWC, you would know that of those 180 people, 10 are looking to play, 70 stay logged in 24/7 (but are asleep at the moment), and 100 are busto and begging for stakes.

Dark Days- these aren't the Party Poker days. What sites out there have tons of games running? I know that I get lots of action by waiting a few minutes at a few different games and others can too. I agree that management should communicate more and try some good promotions. The leaderboard was good but they shouldn't have lowered the prizes. Anyway, I don't think the site is dead.

I wish SwC management would put a little more effort into growing. But hey, at least they aren't run by a team of retards who focus only on trying to trick the world into believing how amazing, honest and successful they are like Betcoin. In the end, both sites are pretty close Traffic wise. What sites out there have tons of games running? There's plenty of bitcoin action out and I think the immediate future will see an upward trend with Bovada now taking Bitcoin. At 1 am on a week night heres Bovada and WPN cash games look like (although not the softest of games) I think a well run, cryptocurrency oriented site could easily grow to average 300-400 players over 7 days within a few months.

Right this second, Stars has 50k players actively playing (among all their licenses). If you are talking about sites that accept bitcoin, Bovada has ~3k, and WPN has ~1k. SWC has 27. Lively!

You're right about sites that accept bitcoin. He may have been referring to strictly bitcoin payment method only sites, of which none really have traffic or traction. SWC was the leading site in this category for quite a while, but as I grew tired of the disconnects and haven't visited them lately, I have no idea where they stand anymore.

Yeah I asked Bovada about bitcoin cashouts and they gave me the runaround. I used to play there when they were Bodog and it was a pain to cashout with actual money. I know the action isn't great, I'm just saying if you sit and wait at a few different games- things will pick up. That's all I want lol.

I get bitcoin cashouts from Bovada in, on average, 2 days. I understand what you are saying. I'm telling you that what you are saying doesn't make any sense and you are overlooking how things actually are. If you want to continue to do that, that's obviously fine. But don't lie to people and don't try to contradict me because you don't know what you are talking about. We get that you want SWC to succeed. Everyone does. Lying about the state of their site isn't going to do that.

To recap:
--Site currently has absolutely no players' rewards/loyalty program, something that every single other poker site has. --Site has little to no traffic for ring games. --Site has consistently slashed GTDs for tourneys that still fail to run due to a lack of registrants. --Management has failed to deliver clients for the different OS's promised over 1.5 years ago. --Support has failed to patch broken hand history logs despite constant complaints for months. --Repeatedly pointing out these shortcomings in lobbychat will lead to either harassment from other players or chatbans.
On a side note, the current strategy seems focused around trying to depict rakeback % as a reward for krill. This is hilariously LOL because anyone can sign up with a variety of other BTC-facing sites and receive 20-30% rakeback from the start, instead of having to dump 50+coins of rake to achieve similar rakeback on SwC.
The only thing management has proven to be exceptional at is taking the goodwill garnered by the previous iteration of SwC and driving it to the ground, and making promises that it cannot/doesn't intend to deliver on.
- They still have a weekly leaderboard for people who pay rake and support the site. - What bitcoin only site has more traffic? WPN accepts your bitcoins, but see what sort of runaround they give you when you want to take it out in bitcoin. -Are they supposed to lose money because you want big gtds? -I agree, they need to get on top of fixing the problems with the client. --Sitting in chat and blowing up about the features because you're tilted should not only get you a temp chat ban, but it should have been done much sooner. "On a side note, the current strategy seems focused around trying to depict rakeback % as a reward for krill. This is hilariously LOL because anyone can sign up with a variety of other BTC-facing sites and receive 20-30% rakeback from the start, instead of having to dump 50+coins of rake to achieve similar rakeback on SwC." This isn't misleading at all right? because those sites don't charge 3x+ the rake seals does to begin with? They also have a 50% table starter rakeback for 3 handed or less. I agree that the way they cut the krillrolls was terrible and I don't know what mangment was thinking when they did that. I also think people who bought krill accounts and never play on the site other than krillrolls and bleed money off the site don't deserve a lifetime of juicy freerolls, they should be revamped to reward the players who are actually loyal to the site and still play here. That being said, if you show me a better place to gamble that pays their customers promptly, dont give you a runaround when you want to take out your own money with the same ease that they took it, I'll be right behind you.

A lot of players have been complaining that in the tweet where SWC stated that the rake had been lowered, they neglected to mention that they actually increased the rake on tournaments. Has anyone heard anything about tournament rake increases or by how much it's been increased?

it looks like it was increased by less than 2%. I don't like how they went about it and they should have made an announcement about it for sure. it's still lower than any other site tho.

I think it's a little more than 2%...5 chip tourneys went from 4.90 + 0.10 chips to 4.70 + 0.30 chips = 200% increase.
