Where to download android client?
You can easily find the link in the OP. The only hindrance is that it isn't listed as Google Play ready hence not being searchable on the store. If that could be done then any non-standard crypto user who searches up the name VanillaCoin will see the Android wallet & get into VNL almost instantly.

https://talk.vanillacoin.net/topic/150/android-beta-apk The only hindrance is that it isn't listed as Google Play ready hence not being searchable on the store.

This will eventually come once the mobile wallets beta is finished and the final releases comes out (still need a final review to get the iOs wallet listed on the Apple App Store)

I guess the final release will be listed on Google Play just as the iOS app will be on AppStore (now it's on the official TestFlight program), so that shouldn't be a problem.

Is there some code review planned for this coin ? It's probably pure genius but having official opinions from trusted crypto experts would be a must how 0 confirmation can be safely achieved ? level of anonimity ? etc... most people can't understand how vnl works (me) and we need techy voices to explain it i think "vnl is simplicity in all its complexity, could be the Apple of cryto" Me think.

You might have to get in contact with CryptoClub for more info. Not sure if I mentioned it here, but a Bitcoin dev I know is doing a code review for Vanillacoin. Funny thing, he was commenting in my group about some other coin he didn't approve of code-wise, and I explained I can't really do code reviews and I just go on the fundamentals. Anyway, he want's to help out the crypto scene and is working on the code review for Vanillacoin. Super technical and it will be a paper, but what I know so far is it definitely isn't a scam based on sheer amount of work, and he agrees it "shines" compared to most alts. He had some pros and cons, and I tried to explain it was still in progress and being worked on. Anyway, it was good enough news that I bought more. When it is done I will publish on my website cryptocollectorsclub.com, and in the group link at the bottom of my sig. I asked him to do SDC next just as I have always been curious how good or bad the code is on that as well.

A code review might be useful if done by a panel of qualified experts with at least 20 years of professional distributed network programming experience, otherwise it is just an individual opinion. Thank you for your support. Yes, it would just be an individual opinion and should only be taken as such. I think VNL is interesting enough that I asked him to look at it first though. So take that as a compliment.

Not to mention that this thread is unmoderated Not all opinions are equal and this applies specifically to Btctalk. So keeping a thread moderated is a reasonable choice.

Not to mention that this thread is unmoderated We already talked about this earlier in the thread. I fully respect John's decision and he let this thread live on after we discussed it.
