this scam still going? we all know there is no actual release and the dev has far more powerful miners than everyone, its a scam that's why dev stays anonymous.

you would think with all the "angel investor" funds they could afford a logo. if it truly was being sponsored, the sponsors would want it looking professional as possible.

its just another scam, but time will only prove it to yourselves.

just a warning, when it drops its going to drop HARD.

Please go back to trolling any other coin but the most honest project in crypto with huge potential.  If this was a scam, the code would have been cloned and not completely rewritten.  VNL already had a code review by Poloniex, and they dropped VNL's required confirmations to 1, making it the only other coin besides bitcoin to only require 1 confirm.

If you want to be a parasite who just sucks money from others instead of trying to grow an honest project, please manipulate any other coin but this one.  Thank you.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

He invented fpga mining.  He's working on it now with very recent updates on the vanillacoin forums (https://talk.vanillacoin.net/topic/147/making-a-mojov3-fpga-miner).

Poloniex vetted the code and it is currently working with one confirmation rather than six, ten, or one hundred.

I personally think that the logo issue is moot and there is a possible rebrand (obfuscate in order to distribute well).  My thoughts don't matter though.  The logo doesn't mean anything if the code doesn't work and if you're basing decisions on a logo than you might want to reconsider where you are getting your information.  For the record - the code works.

But by all means...do your own research and sell what you have.

Cheers!

Newbie account going with warnings and accusations hm, hm, hm.
Yes, this project is still going on unlike many, many scams that we have seen in past even with real companies behind.
There is no actual release of what?
You declare coin as scam based on logo!?!?
It seems that you have some issues in your head or you have some interest in logo creation when you are saying scam for only honest not hyped project in crypto.
Troll please crawl back to your hole.

The wallet vanillacoin.exe program was flag by my anti-virus as an infected file.  Huh

Or it was flagged as 'unrecognized' (instead of infected) which happened to me.  In that case, you just allow the program to accept it and continue merrily along.

It flagged 5 files as "infected file detected."

Thank you for the explanation, seems like a great concept and I wish you good luck.

Thanks, I appreciate it...

If you know anyone in the vanilla community who would like to run a VNL/BTC market metaexchange node on their own hardware using their own funds and wallets, let me know.

Our system design allows different markets to be run in different physical locations around the world - these nodes are liquidity providers, who profit from the spread they set in the market.

Actually getting some trolls ranting against Vanillacoin is a good sign, it means the coin is starting to threaten others in some way. Either that or they trying to bring price down to buy up cheap, in either case it is a win.
