We had a funeral now were just in the grieving stage
Just a bit curious but noticed the Bitcoinwiki had a website listed can't recall if they ever did make one or if its off info
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/ASICMiner

(That or my timestamp is messed up since it says this was posted today on my browser on that link)
Edit: Scratch that it just updates all news feeds to the current date lol...

Believing in Bitcoins and it's ability to change the world

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Everything has been loud speculation up until now...  We never had a death certificate..

Roadstress was kind enough to provide one.     (Note how all the other reports were english, and this one is chinese?)

Dying, no.

Dead

The last few months of AsicMiner can be summed up nicely here.

Oil immersion cooling has been round for years, I understand big studios like Pixar are all over it. Chips generate heat.
What I don't understand is AM1's resistance around 0.005... What could anyone possibly expect from this cadaver?
Just wild longshot bets? Hoping for aliens to land and present the winning powerball? I don't get it. I could see bagholders holding in hopes of some outside chance, living in total denial, yes, but they create no volume.
This is so depressing

Are there any recent takers at 0.005?
Today 5 shares went for 0.0062
One share yesterday at 0.005
Drips and drops but on the 22nd 180 shares traded at 0.0062999
Defies logic
See it here https://www.havelockinvestments.com/order.php?symbol=AM1
It's not much volume, but any action at all makes no sense.
Bigger fools?

I believe those are newbies that did not carefully check the status of the company. They only read that Asicminer is cool and think, oh, its so cheap.

You get the same for newbies that heard mining is so cool. Until they learn about the difficulty. Though at that point a lot of them already have bought.

So i dont think that theres a big plan behind. Only people that dont know the bad news.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Assbot? Lol to that! But seriously... Who would be dumb enough to have ANY sort of "buy" set up, at any price, with any movement, regarding AM1?
I only check havelock periodically to see if they have delisted AM yet.
I also do not think even a n00by could miss the last 20 or so pages of this thread that are basically AM's obituary. There aren't even the customary few trolls pretending to defend this dead duck. Not even one delusional loser holding out hope. Nada. AM has been unanimously declared absolutely irrefutably dead.

Maybe the AM action has something to do with havelock managing the partial shares, the AM100 fractionally? Maybe it's some slight of hand by havelock trying to offset some losses before they shut this farce down 100%?

Only a matter of time before they go the way of every other exchange (pretty much) the toilet must get flushed!

I'm going to study the movement of AM100 fractional shares and see what I can see...

I guess dumb money always moves, although anyone with shares left to sell will likely appreciate whatever they can get from this.

More to the point, what do you expect them to do?
