So you already hit 'unwatch' so it now says 'watch'? Well do you have any remaining notifications in your profile settings active? If no, it may be BTCTalk rubbing some salt into the wound :/

I dunno what's going on, I've been playing with notify and watch/unwatch for days and nothing seems to work Undecided

oh well!

Hold tight, bro!  The new $1.5 million forum software, which is being developed as we speak, will surely take care of this.
I did a little bit of research on Slickage ...They also have a website but all it does is link to their Twitter and Github accounts. I'm curious how they were able to get this job.

Slickage Studios' website is their economy $500,000 version.  The new $1,500,000.00 forum is going to be even better & more full-featured.

When have you liquidated your shares?

As soon as I found out FriedCat had gone missing. I don't see any point in keeping hold of them now.

Good move. Remember that FC kept hidden the fact that AM didn't placed a wafer order in December.

Caveat Emptor and all.  Sigh.

I was an investor in AMHASH, just as I was once an investor in PETA.  Luckily, unlike our friend AirWolf, I remembered my experience with PETA and dropped out of AMHASH (too soon, but luckily enough did anyway) and recouped my investment.  I learned a lesson:  know when to fold.

I think the larger problem with all of them is they don't plan for expansion/upgrades.  It's all about the immediate return.  I remember when PETA actually had a vote about going 100% returns or not.  Because folks were more apt about getting their BTC.

Short term gain, long term loss.

Indeed, I rememeber that PETA vote well, and then everyone asking what happened to PETA when the hash became useless

The larger question is how long a mining bond can remain profitable without consistent reinvestment into mining infrastructure, given the risky prospect of large difficulty increases eating at your return.

People should also remember that before Havelock went down for maintenance, it was pretty much being kept afloat by AM and BDD stocks. When trading of AM comes to a halt, Havelock may not be able to continue.

not much of a difference if Havelock continues without those shares or continues not  Tongue the volumes compared to everything else were huge...
maybe havelock should organise an expedition to china and make things right.. he could even offer a new havelock share for this for those who want to invest in this  Tongue Grin

Just wanted to thank NotLambChop, Roadstress, etc. for being right about this one. I'm fucking done with any more investing in anything other than raw private keys for quite some time to come maybe once full adoption has been achieved.

SCAMMERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES, but thanks for the lessons. I should have heeded the mempools apropos advice long before now.
http://nakamotoinstitute.org/mempool/

I apologise to anyone who might have seen my comments here as confirmation to stay in this turd or (gulp!) buy.

NotLambchop was right and I paid a lot to learn that I need more experience before ever venturing into the shark tank of the scammers who just want to take our coins and leave us with empty promises.

Well, this just sucks donkey balls!

AM stuff was the last shares I had, after being scammed by ActiveMining, NeoBee, Labcoin, and some others I don't even remember, with PETA I actually made profit from trading it, so AM was my last hope to make profit in the foreseeable future.

This might also be the end of Havelock, the only funds with decent volume were AM funds, it might just not be worthwhile to keep the website online for them.

"Factual basis"?
Wat UB talkin' bout, holmes?  Lemme drop some science on u my brotha--most Earthlings people don't require proofs backed by factses before giving their money to Anons.  The ones that demand rigorous proofs before giving away their money to anonymous strangers typically end up just about where you are now: raped, broke and confused.
So don't u b  blockin' they shine, bro Angry

Well ya sure, NLC is a creepy maladjusted quiff who denigrates bitcoin at every turn (which made his advice so unattractive and hard to accept). Roadstress is not so bad and I don't ignore him... but he is on notice Cheesy

Regulation has nothing to do with it. Identity and reputation along with due diligence and proper justice systems  would be fine. As a matter of fact, current regulation environments are why there was a desire for people to invest in pseudonymous companies or individuals and a good excuse to be anonymous as possible for the "investment" offering parties.

I considered failure of AM as a strong possibility and was nearly convinced of it at first but this is looking more and more like an exit scam at the very most benign of possible scenarios.

Nothing LambChop or RoadStress said had any factual basis. That makes them about as right as a broken clock.

I based my sayings on the lack of any factual basis. The lack of any update regarding the self-mining, the lack of a financial report and the lack of the information overall. All the lacks makes it a factual basis for the dying cash cow that was AM.
