I sold my shares way too late.
We should have sold when they were at almost 4 BTC each

We should have sold when they were at almost 4 BTC each I should have, indeed. Unfortunately, that was about a year before I bought mine.

So has this turned into a support group for poor bitcoin investments?
Welcome to Asicminers Anonymous. Hi, my name is qwk, and I invested in Asicminer.
|
Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

Welcome to Asicminers Anonymous. Hi, my name is qwk, and I invested in Asicminer. Ha. The support group could be a lot larger if it were Crypto Scams Anonymous. AM, BFL, AMC, Labcoin, Paycoin, Moolah, etc, etc.

Who is to say what's true or not? I haven't heard anything about a wife, they think he went to Thailand but they also say he's kidnapped or dead. As far as any of us know, everything we've heard is lies.
I'm just wondering if he can ever work in the industry again? Guys can hate their wife right after the wedding. Especially nerds who are usually totally manipulated by women. They can empty the bank account and go live with hookers at some beach resort. They can do all sorts of stuff.
Entire companies can conspire to rip off their shareholders
Competing companies can headhunt these crooks
AM bagholders... We can't do much
imo he does not need to work ever anyway ^^ if he's the type of guy to run off on his wife after only a few months of marriage, and screw over a whole bunch of shareholders and throw his hard earned company away, I would imagine he's also the same sort of guy who could squander a fortune in a few years. its not as hard as you would think. I doubt a bit that he can't handle money. I believe such behaviour should have been shown before already when he still was there. And yes, it's easy to throw away money. Think about the uk-guy that won, i believe 160 Million Euro and a year later he worked at mcdonalds again. probably teh money also explain leaving his wife

I can only imagine how much fun it would have been had things like GLBSE been a success.

That sound so strangely familiar. As if a guy going by crumbs said the very same thing about two years ago... who'd of thunk it? crumbs was right... too bad he was such an asshat about it, people might have listened.

Speaking of asshats, Steve Ballmer said in 2007 - " There's no chance that the iPhone is going to get any significant market share. No chance. It's a $500 subsidized item. They may make a lot of money. But if you actually take a look at the 1.3 billion phones that get sold, I'd prefer to have our software in 60% or 70% or 80% of them, than I would to have 2% or 3%, which is what Apple might get." Imagine if we'd listened to him and not invested in Apple.

Well show me a CEO that states that he would not prefer/use the products of his company! Of course he says anything in order to calm investors titties!

In the meantime, show me a nobody whose opinion matters! [edit: That was easy! Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat Chrysler is telling customers not to buy the Fiat 500E. Your turn.]

Check your receiving address out on blockchain.info. The probability is high that there is an advertising text in the comment field, advertising some scam site or so. This kind of spam is relatively common unfortunately. I doubt it has something to do with Asicminer.

Some goof with a website called x-bitcoins sent 0.0001 to two of my addresses which I'm sure have been publicly posted. He/she/it claims to have a system that tricks mining pools into thinking you have 100TH/s and therefore you can make 1 bitcoin per day. All you have to do is download their virus script and you too can begin stealing too.
