Estimated increase in divs (not including the hashrate increase) is 0.00507625 BTC per share. Well, technically the INCREASE in divs is 0.00322625 BTC/share (2042.5-752)/400000 = 0.00322625Because the income of the auction last week then has to be substracted from this week's auction. Not that I'm complaining

Now, let's just sit back and watch the mid-week madness of "I want a piece of that dividend action" over on BTCT and BF.

Just curious... What if this type of language was put in the next auctions? The auction will end ****. Each valid bid will delay the end time by another hour.

Then the auction will probably never end... That's actually how some auctions are run, no? Would at least prevent the outcries of unfairness. If the delay was more manageable, say 5-10 minutes then I don't see why not.

If the delay was more manageable, say 5-10 minutes then I don't see why not. I have seen auctions that are run like that, and 5-10 minutes would probably let the auction finish faster than delaying one hour. But the value of mining equipment is very time-sensitive (the longer you have to wait until the auction ends, the less valuable they are and hence the less you should bid for them!), and a lot of care would need to be taken so the rules couldn't be gamed.

Anyone that keen to get on board at the cheapest price will be watching live - anyone who wants to bid and forget needs to just bid their maximum price and walk away. Five minutes would be heaps, I think.

Don't see it on btcguild anymore ..... not sure if it's a case of physical move, pool switching, solo mining, or ......
the blades don't support stratum (requires stratum proxy), maybe working on the firmware to support stratum natively will alleviate some of the network issue that ASICMINER faces

Perhaps a new thread should be started just for that.
