Hey guys! Just bought some asicminer shares through Havelock, is this more profitable than waiting and waiting for our own asics? Considering putting more in, hope I see some good returns :-)
I only bought in recently as well.
Which is more profitable depends on how much you paid for your ASIC and when you get it. Gen 1 Avalon would have been pretty sweet. BFL anything, who knows? AM Erupter blades should provide a decent return, though they aren't cheap.
With AM shares you will have a pretty good idea week to week how things are going, and you won't need to replace your shares every year like you do with hardware. At the moment it's all good news.
Hopefully years from now we'll both be able to tell folks at cocktail parties that we bought AM in May 2013 and they will remark on how clever and attractive we are. (OK, May is not as good as IPO, but still
)
