Well to be honest we didn't know about the Slideshow presentation for quite some time until we had it translated over here
It is possible that information we don't have available on the English forum is real just not immediately confirmed
So for now assumes it is 75% confirmed not 99.9% Smiley

agreed, ill accept that

true.. hope FC can clarify this.  One thing I noticed was kind of strange about the video is that she looked like she was going to cry.  She didn't smile at all..

I hope so too, id love to see AM bounce back, also doesn't make sense to me that FC wouldn't let the forum know info like this himself, it could have helped the share price a lot. Why are we hearing this from what to me seems like a random person? Maybe FC will take notice and chime in with a confirm or deny soon, the suspense is killing me lol

the same like with "live hash rate meter" , Friedcat never announced its existence(he only said something, that they have one for internal use) but still the Chinese Community had knowledge about existence of erpao.info long before other shareholders

btw looking forward for transcript... and I should began to learn Chinese

1000 PH sounds quite reasonable actually. The break-even point for BTC at $100 USD for the highest efficiency ASICs today (the 28nm tech) is ~200 PH/s (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=281279.0)

if bitcoins are $500 by then, that takes us to a break-even of 1000 PH... and this doesn't take into account more efficient chips or higher bitcoin prices (or over-invested miners or people powered on wind farms, etc.)

Nor does it account for the production cost, supply chain and HUGE opportunity cost of selling these miners far above marginal cost.

1000PH is the equivalent of more than 2 million HF babyjets. Even if the price would get down to just $500, thats $1 billion dollar. Who's going to cough that up?
Moreover,  if they start producing today, to get there by February thats ~17000 units per day, 7 days a week.  Ciara is a big plant, a really big plant, but last I looked, IIRC they boasted about 2500 unit per day total production capacity across all their lines.

Now I have a reputation for being pessimistic about miners prospects, but even i dont believe this for a second.  100PH would be pretty amazing already.

Someone's excited.  I was thinking about going in...put a buy order in at .66.  Lowest sell order was 58 shares for a little under .8 btc.  Watching...watching...someone picked up all 58 in one buy.  I then panic bought 3 shares real quick at .8.

Edit: Less than 5 min after I posted this, already up at .87 btc and rising fast...

Edit 2: 5 min later, .95 and rising....

Maybe because it's harder to export the shares and there are also the US restrictions.. anyway, HL is almost above 1 BTC already. This has potential.. Grin

The interviewer is one of our members in the Chinese community. She is not one of AM's board members but she does hold some AM shares. She has been planning to have an interview with Friedcat and finally she made it. We the Chinese Bitcoiners have known her for a long time and she's built her credibility with her interviewing more than 15 people in this community.
I post this video and translation in this thread, assuming that since she already post it on Weibo, a twitter-like service in China, that should become some public information and Friedcat's consent must have been gained to release it.

In an interview you have two people talking. This seems to be a monologue.

One thing I forgot to translate in the video was that the interviewer said the dividend will maintain a low level for a long time, as funds need to be raised to test the 3rd Gen.

This is contrary to FC telling us we would only experience a few weeks of raped dividends, which was 3 weeks ago.  lol   Smiley

3rd Gen coming out in February though right (according to interview)?  So "a long time" = 4 months then?
