One thing I forgot to translate in the video was that the interviewer said the dividend will maintain a low level for a long time, as funds need to be raised to test the 3rd Gen.
This is contrary to FC telling us we would only experience a few weeks of raped dividends, which was 3 weeks ago. lol I'm sure it would rely on the price of btc.

It is estimated that the network hashing power would be 1000p then, while Friedcat would deliver several hundred of it. Has anything about this interview been confirmed or is it all BS? Sounds too good to be true.

Actually it just confirms what was said earlier and isn't really news. Several hundred TH were schedueled for "end of the year" and I think 1000 were mentioned in rockxie's presentation. Not sure anymore.. This is the interviewer's thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=252469.0 (sticky in the Chinese subforum)

I think an excellent point was just made.. most of the BTC for reinvestment has not been converted to fiat yet, meaning ~70% increase of available funds. The BTC spike itself should be lifting the price up. This would be the opposite effect of a company who has already converted (you would see a downward shift of share value)
shit, I'm buying more...

That would be the 3rd generation miner. He is going to be trained to solve blocks manually..

The rumor has friedcat predicting an exahash (1000 petahash) of total network power by the end of 2014. That's a hoover's dam worth of power, on gen 3. http://blog.standardcrypto.com/2013/09/17/what-does-one-exahash-look-like/I find that a little hard to swallow. My understanding is that mining becomes uneconomical on electricity costs alone at the current price, somewhere in the 60-80 petahash range. So I don't think it's realistic to forecast a petahash, unless prices rise over a thousand. Would friedcat really go out on a limb like this? I bought some more on the rumor, but I'm still skeptical. It is estimated that the network hashing power would be 1000p then, while Friedcat would deliver several hundred of it. Has anything about this interview been confirmed or is it all BS? Sounds too good to be true. not yet

For awhile there he had us convinced he was going to resort to selling cotton candy and cigarettes, (ignoring mining all together)

He predicted once that the fee will be 15BTC a block, how could he know? even satoshi does not know. Although I hold a good amount of share, I have to admit that I think he said it to make positive effect on AM price.

Seems reasonable to me. I think the fees could one day go greater than 50 btc per block.

I was referring to the rockxie who held the Chinese ASICMINER presentation. As far as I recall 1000 TH for end of this year were mentioned there. Edit: http://wenku.baidu.com/view/ede0631876c66137ee06192f.htmlThis one. I can't tell the page though, it's just from my memory. Edit 2: I think the confussion is that FC allegedly said in the interview that 201 4 the network hashrate may hit 1000 PH.
