0.49 BTC for 2.6GH/s vs. 0.8 BTC for 10.75GH/s (blade). I don't think so...

FC has not yet announced his cubes. At around 1/3 the cost/Ghs of Red Fury it remains to be seen exactly whose lunch gets eaten.

0.49 BTC for 2.6GH/s vs. 0.8 BTC for 10.75GH/s (blade). I don't think so... Fact is that USB stick miners used to be AM's domain. Redfury now has sticks @ 2.6 GH/s nearly 10x the 0.3 GH/s a BE can provide... I'm sure Redfury will have good margins on this first batch and can lower the prices more than AM can at this point to remain competitive. The AM cube just seems to be a nifty way to repackage Gen1 chips...

In the official AM hardware thread a user links to where Friedcat's official European seller has confirmed the cube as well: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=270573.msg3471649#msg3471649 (in German but Google translate does a decent job)

The unit is less than the 1 cubic foot it ships in.

well, the share price has increased 30+% since the news of these broke. And while .06/share is not huge, it is 20 times greater than the last dividend. I imagine it will be split over several weeks, looking at .015/week at most. That being said, I don't think this revenue is meant to "save" the share price, but merely keep things afloat until the next gen/deployment happens. If divs can be larger than .01 a week for 4-6 weeks, I think you'll see share prices go to 1.5 or beyond.

And that alone shows how naive the investors are who move their price perception based on dividends that'll only last weeks at best. Thats just like when people bought AM above 5BTC because they were paying divs from 40% of the network, which was clearly unsustainable.

Somebody, please, explain me: how to sell my shares that was automatic transfer to Friedcat?
Importing Shares to Havelock InvestmentThere is no fee to import shares. There is no minimum quantity for importing shares. How to Import Direct Shares:
1. Send an e-mail to fnnirvana@gmail.com & TAT Investments at tat.investments@gmail.com with the following message: ”Friedcat, please transfer (X) of my shares to the TAT Investments account at 1rHfXj4AwH9zymwwJuXnbXLiDbAE9V1uz -- tat.investments@gmail.com”
Also include the following info: - Your current ASICMINER share-holding wallet address & e-mail address - The quantity of shares you wish to transfer 2. If the e-mail address you have on file with ASICMINER is different than the one you use for your Havelock account, you MUST send an e-mail from the e-mail address you have registered with Havelock confirming this import request. If this is the case, please provided a dated, signed message from the host wallet to confirm ownership. 3. After confirmation from Friedcat is received, the AM1 shares will be added to your account within 48 hours or less. NOTE: TAT Investments is not responsible for delays or errors in transfer confirmations by ASICMINER staff. Please follow these instructions carefully to avoid problems.
Sending request by this rules for transfering. P.S.: KCBitcoin thank you very much.

Back then everything was said to be on track and as predicted. Since FC was underpromising and overdelivering such expectations were justified. As we learned along the way information was not spread evenly among shareholders and we could see that some investors were selling in panic. Like eb3full for example who suddenly and out of nowhere put his 3500 shares on "pay what you want, now" sale auction. Also Vycid commented something like "I know some big whales who will be dumping soon". If I remember correctly. So in my opinion only those who were privileged to information about incoming gen2 failure could make such a short call. Or those who were betting that after successful streak friedcat will trip on something eventually.

Perhaps this is the first immersion cooling product from AM? Or are you suggesting that the cube will be gen2 hardware? I thought gen2 was dead in the water and gen3 is scheduled for February...

Last time I checked, a "full mask for 40 nm" would not be considered dead in the water.

everyone's a perfect investor using hindsight... And that alone shows how naive the investors are who move their price perception based on dividends that'll only last weeks at best.
I don't know. Current prices are around .7 for AM, so buying now with the .06+ div coming over the next month earns you roughly 9% on your investment. That's not a bad investment. And seeing how share prices respond to increased dividends, it's likely that you'll be able to sell those shares at week 4 for more than you can buy them now. In the current Bitcoin securities market, I'd say 9% in a month ain't too shabby.

That would be good news!

I did say so back then and sold out 100% of my shares. I'm trying to find the posts, but the search function is crap and I'm not keen to manually read 750 pages to find them.

+1 , well said sir, well said ... Welcome to free market, where you sometimes have to think with your own head and make logic conclusions. I am very sorry if investors didn't see the correction coming, it was very evident.
