The way I interpret this statement is that FC is working on getting cheaper electricity/space and then AM will go HAM on the self mining.

I thought that he already had plenty of time to search for cheaper electricity/space. Doing it now seems a bit late.

FC speaks, again: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=641957.msg7181247#msg7181247

So gen 4 will, most likely, be pin-/dimension-compatible to gen 3 and developers improving on the schematics may be paid by AM! I believe this may encourage some people to further optimize the designs.
He became quite talkative these days. I like it.

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

Wish someone would sort Havelock out... I'd like to buy on this news. The site is constantly down and when it is up, it is very slow. It's almost becoming impossible to trade AM1 and AM100 shares.

Havelock is always up and down you just need to be persistent and keep coming back. Hopefully there's not too big a change when it's up and running again

Don't worry, we need some time for stabilization. (Especially) we don't want another bubble yet.

yeah but honestly at this point I don't care if it crashes, I have the answers I needed so I am in no way worried about the future of AM - back to being bullish!

Do you think we'll see 1 BTC per AM1 share this year?

Is there a good summary of recent asicminer developments? I'm a long term direct shareholder and just curious what's going on. Gen3 flopped? And now we are banking on gen 4?

I'd be willing to bet that they are under near constant ddos floods.  By who , no idea, but seems the norm for exchanges.

Edit: Looking to buy 10 direct AM shares, might be easier this way than through Havelock.  PM me.

For 10 shares I think you would be much better served on Havelock.  Any more then 10 and the thin liquidity on there will get you, but buying 10 now only bumps the price a bit.

On this note, has anyone done any legwork on setting up an AM PT on some 2.0 exchange?  It would be nice if someone with established trust did it... but if no one gives Havelock any competition I may end up doing it myself once I do the research on which platform to use.

I wonder if Peershares would be suitable?

This could work via colored coins.  The difficulty would be in finding someone trustworthy enough to issue shares.  Honestly, it would be easiest if FC would issue the asset and then allow people to transfer their direct shares to colored coins.  That way there wouldn't be an additional counter-party.
