anyway i am really dissapointed with friedcat. please compare his posting style at 2012 and now,
he treat us like nothing, we helped him to be very very rich... and many of us lost fortunes due to his recent failures.

Friedcat has never been very good at posting often. If you've "lost fortunes", it's your own fault for buying high and selling at a loss.

i think you dont exist

Really? Odd, where did all these dividends of mine come from then?

we are all scammed... again

Again? I've personally never been scammed by Friedcat before, and I don't know of anyone who has. If you're the first, please, by all means, provide proof.

Otherwise, save the rest of us our precious time by refraining from posting.

firstly i havent lost a fortune, i started buying at 0.08, got 14 btc from divs and trading alone, had never have more than 30 shares.

you are quoting pieces out of context from my post, please read it again.
also visit page 8 of this topic and you will know that some of us have seen friedcat on video chat.

i think you dont know who is TF (tradefortress), do you see analogy?

holy moley!! and that's how unfounded rumors start... so based on what you are saying friedcat is now like tradefortress? Seriosuly?Huh Really???

The only thing CONSISTENT besides friedcat, is the FUD on this thread.

it never fails, never sleeps.  someone should get a PhD for writing a thesis on online crowd think... all they need to do is analyze this 1000+ page for sentiment and the results my surprise all.  NLP and other mechanisms come to mind as far as how to analyse this...

people, get a hobby!! besides btc.  you have too much time to spread FUD, do something useful instead.

If thats your concern then put your money where your mouth is and sell your shares. You have obviously lost faith in FC, and no longer believe in him or his business practices, so why are you holding shares and bitching?

As a former active mining investor you guys have no idea how good you have it.

Bonitas non est pessimis esse meliorum.  Your "not-as-bad-as" argument is seriously flawed.

I think you're on to something.

Tradefortress: Starts multiple businesses with no sources of revenue including an online wallet which was conveniently hacked losing ALL of its money. Completely anonymous and businesses only involve shifting money around.

Friedcat: Has developed, produced, and sold hardware earning the company and its investors over 500% in dividends. Completed 3rd gen asics and is now working on 4th gen. Pseudonymous meaning people know who he is, it's just not publicly broadcasted.

Definitely a great analogy.

Holy crap, we crossed 1000 pages.

I predict that we'll soon see a drop back down to around 300 pages, then a slow but steady recovery.

Possibly Mr. Karpeles someone will craft software to store this thread securely offline and then forget how to retrieve it at which point it will drop into negative numbers of messages and emit a huge sucking sound while at the same emitting faint cries of "foul".

The only thing CONSISTENT besides friedcat, is the FUD on this thread.

One reason I wrote a script to monitor the man's posts is because I didn't want to have to scroll through pages of "investors" whining and bitching because they aren't sent a letter by registered mail alerting them of every single time Friedcat takes a shit. Even if they did get that, they would complain that he wasn't descriptive enough of the size and consistency.

BFL gave pretty regular empty updates whenever people who pre-ordered got loud enough.

Divs were typically on Wed and not until after around 4-5:00 GMT. Sooooo, what's the problem?  Wink
So what's up with the dividends?  It's kinda hard to believe that there's 0 earnings available to distribute!

Please, the only people that invested were the original investors.  FC made them multi millionaires. All those that invested subsequently did so for the dividends.  They added no new capital to FC or his business. You would do the same, if you were FC.

Actually it is the "subsequent investors" are the ones who made Friedcat rich.
He liquidated shares when the price hit 4 btc/share Smiley

Source?

IIRC he specifically said he didn't sell during the bubble.

What the f... are you saying ?

An investor is a person who allocates capital with the expectation of a financial return. The types of investments include: gambling and speculation, equity, debt securities, real estate, currency, commodity, derivatives such as put and call options, etc. This definition makes no distinction between those in the primary and secondary markets. That is, someone who provides a business with capital and someone who buys a stock are both investors. An investor who owns a stock is known as a shareholder.

You're basically saying, that we don't deserve dividends. You're saying that we're not investors, or that we're "investors". So anyone who is buying AAPL or GOOG or any other stock now when company is running, is in your eyes not investor. Sorry, but you're wrong, they are.

I wonder how many weeks or months without dividends will pass after you or any other cheerleader will change his attitude from : ASICminer? everything is ok, pink glasses. In past we saw that Bitcoinland is no Candyland, scams are everywhere, greed is everywhere. And we must take care with eyes open. Even Jutarul is without the words or explanation what is going on again?

Well, there is no proof he sold. Moreover, if people were crazy enough to buy at 4 Btc/share, then they did so because they wanted the divs.  FC is entirely within his rights to offload at a high point. At this point, as shareholders, we literally have no rights to demand this or that. This is especially the case if FC HAS offloaded his shares. I think you overestimate the importance of the secondary market to someone who has offloaded their shares. (I don't know if FC has).

See, you have no idea that ASICminer is not AAPL and GOOG, for the precise reason that AM is not listed on a stockexchange.  What you have is a mere promise to pay you dividends backed by FC's good reputation.  You literally have no rights.  Get used to it.

I think it is pretty damn clear what I'm saying.

great next round of questions. friendlypumpkin, are you ready? FC loves short answers, like "May 27th.", so he'll get short but very important questions.

add : where are money from chips sales?

and for everyone who is saying me : "go away, if you dont trust our God, sell your shares." I cant, i am stuck here. There is simply no liquidity on Havelock, if you don't want to see prices under 0.1 btc in the blink of an eye.

He liquidated shares when the price hit 4 btc/share

Yeah, he just waltzed on over to Havelock or Bitfunder or BTCT.co and sold those shares he owns that are totally part of the public ones that were listed on those exchanges.

Or wait, he sold them privately, maybe? Oh, wait. No single person with that much capital is fucking stupid enough to buy that many shares at above 4 BTC each during an obvious bubble.
