sexy beast!!!

We had AM_BE200_X24 boards sampled and tested. We also sampled the compatible heatsinks and supporting structures for them. It hashes at 768GH (each board 192GH) with 0.85-0.92W/G without PSU. Power draws on higher/lower hashrate with higher/lower voltage is under testing. The design files of heatsinks/structures are going to be released a little later.

It should be emphasized that QUAD and X32 are also sampled and well tested before X24.

That looks hot!!! Friedcat has done it again!

Honestly, I am thinking of buying one of those miners.  Fuck who cares if it makes ROI, that thing looks BEAUTIFUL!  Like, honestly, a piece of art that I would place on a shelf and brag about.

Edit: posted this to reddit, because... I cant help but share how amazing that thing looks. http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/27s49n/i_never_knew_bitcoin_miners_could_look_so_amazing/

Yes, indeed.  A rectangular cuboid to be exact.  I learned something new today.  Smiley

To be even more exact, it's a square cuboid (a subset of rectangular cuboids where two sides are squares).

Well, why should it? It's definitely good news, a sleek miner, and even more communication from FC. But no groundbreaking things have happened. It was already known that the boards have been published. FC showing off a complete miner is mere icing on the cake, but nothing more.
I have to remark, though, that everyone on the hardware forum and reddit is quite excited and all the 'usual suspects' are looking into getting their hands on that miner. This definitely is a good sign.

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

Divs are probably the only thing at this point that are going to make people excited.  Numbers and pictures aren't doing the trick.  However, to a dedicated shareholder, it doesn't matter what the shares are trading for if you plan on holding, lower = better if you are still stocking up!

I made some banners that grab data from Havelock every few minutes:

I didn't think I could post a PHP image on Bitcointalk but apparently we can.

edit: so apparently they show as $0.00  when Havelock is down!

To be honest, I don't blame them. The last few months have been a very very rough ride. Ambivalent news, extremely long periods of no communication, divs ceased without a word and then the missing divs from May 27th and the big financial statement from May 30. I think FC published a decent statement last week and we most likely will see better times now. But after all, the one and only true statement we now need are reassuring dividends.

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

I'm going to put a clause in there for if the API times out it displays either (user configurable) HAVELOCK IS DOWN!! or default to a banner style of their choice, bitcoin, etc.
edit: It doesn't have a problem anymore with the zero display. I just don't save the value if it's zero, so it'll just be old data until they come online.  But it would be cool to show that they were down...

Well it's a great advertising tool and I believe a lot of users would be encouraged to use this banner across the board most especially if there were benefits for affiliates to earn certain percentage on fees for share sales.. Just a thought.. Havelock! Lol

There are those exact benefits in place!  Smiley Users earn a percentage from both publishers and advertisers who sign up through the banners, if you are logged in the page wraps the banner in the referral link.  This is probably not the thread to discuss this.. but check it out sometime.
