How about keeping a bit more cash reserve? Makes me nervous seeing that we were at close to zero with lots of stock. That's how you go broke although you don't need to?
I am in for the long run here. Paying dividends necessarily weakens a company, because they could spent it on expansion, building their own datacenters or anything like that. I'd rather have a high rate of reinvestment, but then I don't have all the information.

Where are dividends  ? ? ?

price per Gh/s   0,49$ < minimum price tag
production cost Gh/s   0,2$ < maximum possible price tag

April batch # of chips   850 000 ... sold for 4 165 000$ > REINVESTED (~2 082 500 chips)
May batch # of chips   3 350 000(plan) ... sold for 16 415 000$ > REINVESTED (~8 207 500 chips) surplus of 1 507 500 chips or 3M$
June batch # of chips 6 700 000(plan) ... sold for 32 830 000$ > ? ? ?

Right now around minimum of 36 millions $ are somewhere

lets reserve capital for next July batch of lets say 7 000 000 chips , that's 14M maximum ... so there are 22M $ waiting to hit dividends this month, or ~0.1 BTC/share , there is absolutely no reason to withholding them for any longer.

How can someone think about august? There is no reason. Explain.

Let them keep reinvesting until they can distribute 1 btc per share Cheesy
Looking good

The idea is that they are selling the stock as we speak. Selling chips makes a good return. Holding cash doesn't. If AM can't make a profit selling chips we are all f**** anyway. They have always held enough back for reinvestment anyway.

Exactly!  But why stop at a year?  Reinvesting yearly divs would assure even moar profit!
The glorious Soviet economy revolved around "petiletka," a five-year plan so effective that it was always completed in just four years!

Why is August unreasonable? There are pains exchanging fiat to BTC in China so once there is positive cash flow there will be a delay to covert the fiat to BTC.

nope.

14) What is the estimated conversion time from chip sales to dividends?
The conversion time itself is fast and should not be the main stagnation of the time frame.

If dividends do not come in July it is likely due to the sales of chips. If the 60PH is 1 to 1.5 months of stock, inventory may not be completely moved until mid to late July, plus conversion to BTC. I am sure the question of "When do you anticipate AM to become cash flow positive?" will come up in the next round of shareholder questions. My guess is as good as anyone else's on when the company enters into that mode.

66 % share price drop still stinging, that is what, hundreds of millions? I hope they will be able to compete. They look pretty good on paper but so did everything.

I am more hurting from the whole 95% drop Wink

I read this and thought to myself... no way, it is not a 95% drop...

Then I did the math, and cried.  At least I did sell SOME of my shares to diversify near the top.  I remember when I dumped my shares on BTCT to buy direct shares from Jart's auction at ~4.5...  That was probably the most BTC I ever held, or ever will hold.  Oh hindsight!

Some investors have been absolutely devastated, all part of the Wild West. Will the share price slowly sink back down to IPO or have we flushed out all the weak hands who want to dump their positions at a loss on the eve of dividends? Opportunity is knocking here.

I actually wouldn't mind this either.  I'd like to see FC diversify a bit and start a holdings unit as a second line of business just to give us some wiggle room and stabilize prices.  What's your take on that Friedcat Buffett?

They need better customer service. Transfer of shares took 9 days last time, now transferring to havelock, which will take who knows how long. This is why they need the shares to be on havelock or counterparty, or figure out a way to make it easier for investors to trade holdings.

And dividends are a must, this is a crypto stock, very high risk. If they can't pay a decent dividend, the price should be much lower than it is even now.

Long share transfer times?  You must be new here Smiley  As long as they go through eventually, no need to panic.

As for divs... We all want them, begging probably won't help although I wish it did.

I propose next round of shareholders questions to be scheduled on 1st of July 2014, and I feel it will be mainly about dividends this time, since we've got answers for almost everything last time. This will also be exactly 1 month since last round of shareholders questions.

meanwhile we can also summarize what changed between then and now, like

- The Open Source Block Erupter Project
- announced cooperation with DataTank
