That's what I meant by laughable. You found three correlations and say its a reason for going up but you can find any three going down or changing in any number of ways and say the same thing or the opposite. If we must determine the future price on something as pathetic as 3 similarities on a chart spanning 3 years then it is much easier to put your faith in the peaks and say it only gets lower.

So my counter argument to that without using MS Paint is to say look at the last three peaks, I can show just the same thing going down, always lower lows and that always points to a price decrease, powerfully ..

Too bad You are not a trader  Smiley

after a sideways trend, the price is always growing and powerfully

Your argument is against technical analysis. No idea how you think you can predict nothing but downward movement, since as you said:
Quote
you can find any three going down or changing in any number of ways and say the same thing or the opposite

Figure out your argument and stick with it there bud Cheesy

Price here price there, only about the price
Nobody cares anymore about the real project ethereum it is

...
Most people came to the cryptocurrency market in order to make money. That is why these people are very worried about the price of ETH and are worried at a time when the price goes down.
Yes I agree with you, of course people will not bother with all its developments if after developing the price continues to fall. I hope this is only temporary and the team can overcome this problem.

  • This is the wrong forum to expect much more than trolling and price talk.
  • Ethereum development is much larger than it was even a year ago. Price movements aren't something any of those dev teams need to "overcome".

104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 15, 2018, 02:26:46 AM
Ethereum is surrounded by bearish sentiment because of the uncertainty about its future plans. There have been very few updates in the fast-growing market, which is why things like congestions in the network might happen. This results in a disproportionate increase in the price of commissions for every transaction, which often delay and fail.

You clearly aren't informed. Future plans have been discussed widely and openly in the community. Literally the last Core dev call they discussed timeline and set tentative dates for Constantinople.

Also, gas price has been very manageable lately (last several months), with the exception of the duration of the LivePeer Merkle Mine. What congestion are you talking about?

🇰🇷 - New Korean exchange Pure Bit just pulled an exit scam claiming 13,000ETH from its investors as we speak. Kakao channels are emptying and the site has been pulled.

But how it could be related to ETH I didn't understand what are you want to explain please tell us in clear words. If any exchange turned into scam than there is no fault of any cryptocurrency.

No sorry , off course is nothing about ETH, it was just a news i got from a website about  this exchange that scammed many users, just to let you know to be carefull where you deposit your ETH or other coin too

Nothing about ETH? I don't think so. 13,000 ETH scam = 13,000 ETH will have to be dumped somewhere crashing off Ethereum's value. Roll Eyes

13k ETH isn't even whale status. More like small dolphin. "crashing off Ethereum's value"....lol

Okay Ethereum is good in the eyes of the cryptocurrency and has become a success after Bitcoin.
But I will ask for things that are a little sticky in my heart, why on the main website (https://ethereum.org/) Ethereum does not include Bitcointalk ANN?

refference: https://imgur.com/a/hf5FFwL

ANN's are never referenced on main sites. Especially something as large as Ethereum...why would you want this thread referenced?
I have a community in the telegram group and there is a new member who is new to cryptocurrency. He asks "where can I find ANN from Ethereum?"
Then I told you to look on the main website and it turned out that the ANN was not included on the main website.

Probably should have just told him to search those keywords. It's top hit.

Are there any cryptos in the top 10 that link to btctalk ANN from their main site?  Huh

Is there a description of these assets somewhere? Or are ppl just creating them so they get the names?

Would be nice to see actual assets being created and used...

So nobody else is solomining, show me your solved blocks.

bspus seems to be the only one  Shocked

This forum isn't exactly the best place for actual Decred audience. Go ask around in the Decred forums, you'll get more responses.

Last time it took six weeks to bull run so can't be sure of anything when next will start but will be much more volatile than previous one this is my expectation. According to Vitalik next upgrade will make Ethereum up to 100o time faster and scaling efficient. It that happens before next rally will add extra fuel to rocket to reach far away to extended skies beyond limits.

OK but when this upgrade will be delivered? Because Ethereum is getting left behind by other smart contracts platform, see EOS, Neo, Stratis, Waves, Tron etc....

After it's been tested thoroughly on test net and deemed ready. Q1 2019 was last estimate.

None of those platforms you listed are even close to being real competition. Proof is in the pudding  Cool
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DCR] Decred - Community Governance | Bitcoin Devs | Lightning Network on: October 29, 2018, 04:39:40 PM
Decred is essentially Bitcoin on steroids with several additions that includes a hybrid of POW/POS..... for me one of the important factors Decred address is Governance... Governance is one of the elephants in the room is crypto and with the addition of latest feature like Politeia, it gives everyday users the ability to be part of the process.

hello, i think that i miss something in the last few months (too many coins/project to follow Sad ).
Where can i find more info about the hybrid POW/POS structure of decred?

Thank you!
pos part of the pow/pos hybrid mining algo is there to keep the pow miners in check. If you're a stakeholder in decred, you should learn this technology.

nice response you crypto geek. you should learn marketing and communications you keyboard geek

Haha I didn't know "geek" was still an insult. lolz. How old are you buddy?

FYI: info on hybrid consensus can be found here: https://docs.decred.org/research/hybrid-design/
Check the White Paper if you need more technical details on how PoS works. Pretty sure there's links in that page to the White Paper.

Wow 10%+ of the network is solomining.  Shocked

So where are all of the solominers. Anyone wanna speak up?

 Grin

I'm here  Smiley

In what world does forum reputation correlate to someone solomining a coin or not?
lolz /facepalm.

Coinbase added USDC now!

Nevermind since coinbase is blocked from transactions on my credit card it probably throws red flags to all the felons that are hiding in there.  Again perhaps a cultural problem.  The felons seem to be protected more.

Super incorrect. Coinbase is not blocking credit cards. The banks are. Just search for it: all major banks announced they would be blocking credit card transactions used to buy crypto. This has been in effect for several months now (depending on your location).

Why is the system so ignorant why can't i use my credit care with coinbase.  Are coinbase the criminals or capital one?
i heard some news not remembered where but someone talking about that credit cards gonna block all crypo related transaction but not now in october or december of this year. now i don't know that its true or not. please search about this i got some searched results check them

Correct. Blame the banks, not Coinbase.

Dear Ethereum Community,

How are we standing on the development? Can we actually expect anything big in 2019? POS probably not, as it is still only conceptual thing?
Personally am still a believer of ethereum, despite the drop. Am I wrong?

This isn't the right place to ask about dev activity.

I'd suggest watching the dev calls on youtube. Many different dev teams, each working on different aspects.

I am very sorry that I did not buy a coin on the ICO when there was an opportunity Roll Eyes

You mean airdrop; Decred didn't do an ICO.

Yea, the days after the airdrop I think the price was near a dollar, it still would have been a fantastic investment.

Haha yup! We all miss the days we could get a DCR for a buck.

Still though, when the price hits $1k+, we'll look back to now and say, "I wish I had bought more when the price was $38!"   Grin haha

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh eth....going to the shitter, as it should LOL

Hey man, I see you really positive in RVN thread,a coin that I also like very much.

I just don't understand why you need to go in random threads where you dislike a coin and troll people. We are not on a forum in 2011...trolls like you shouldn't exists in 2018. Maybe you should focus on changing your attitude and respect other people.

I've seen people here at 'hold' mode when the price was $1,400. How stupid can one be?

Eth is still overvalued. What does it do? Serves as fuel for token transactions. Worth $21Billion total? Get real.

And btw Eth does have an infinite supply, I would be very careful with this coin.

Super short-sighted argument. Let's not even mention the largest development community...most daaps/contracts deployed on chain...exceptional tech stack with a plethora of client implementations.

But let's keep arguing from the point of a market cap. That's effective.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DCR] Decred - Community Governance | Bitcoin Devs | Lightning Network on: October 18, 2018, 12:59:15 AM

Politeia is going live!
As of today, all Decred stakeholders have the power to vote on proposals via https://proposals.decred.org
Through this platform they decide which proposals get funded by the project treasury.
The future of Decred is fully in the hands of those who HODL  Cool

Amazing article from Coindesk:

"BREAKING: Decred is handing control of its $21 million treasury and all aspects of the protocol, from consensus through staffing, over to token holders."
https://www.coindesk.com/decred-is-turning-its-entire-21-million-crypto-treasury-over-to-investors/

And we already have the first proposal drafted!  Grin Grin Grin

Can't wait to see Politeia get exercised.
