This would be a marketcap of 354 Million Dollar, so imo not very difficult (in the future), Decred can hit 1 billion dollar marketcap = 211 Dollar for 1 Coin. I am not expert but Ethereum classic will not replace Ethereum but will keep doing as asset on Ethereum protocol this is what I have my thought and stand on the current situation.
Of course, ETHC will replace ETHF. It's inevitable. ETHC is exactly the same tool but at much cheaper price. If you need fuel for your car and you can buy the same fuel at much cheaper price, what will you do? It's obvious. People that prefer ETHF to ETHC aren't interested in ethereum as fuel for smart contracts. They are pump and dump speculators or bagholders. Whoa! Surely you don't truly believe this?   I mean, you see the gaping holes in your argument, right? Let me break it down a bit: - ETC isn't "exactly the same tool", irregardless of price. E.g. PoS implementation for Eth (more secure & scalable), monetary policy, etc.
- Cars come in many models and features. Consider the # of projects being built on the Ethereum chain vs ETC chain. Consider the companies and banks utilizing the Ethereum protocol (Eth, not Etc). The car metaphor simply doesn't hold.
ETC would be a Tonka truck compared to the Lambo that is (will be) Ethereum. People won't build companies and services with/on a toy truck, they'll use a high-performance, high quality, and respected "manufacturer". - This is already apparent in the market today, too. Look at what Coinbase just announced! Their new product isn't being built to run on ETC just because it's cheaper right now, is it?
 - Price of the coin, both Eth and Etc, is not a constant. It fluctuates constantly, meaning Etc could raise in price in the future. Trying to say Etc will replace Eth because it's cheap now is some very backwards logic!

I tried finding an x16-x16 usb extension, but haven't had luck. x16-1x usb extenders are common, so I figure there must be something other than ribbons out there....

DCR definitely looks like a promising coin. Solid deflationary monetary policy, and good incentive for PoS voting. My only concern is how efficiently the dev subsidy will be used for coin development over the years.

Honestly, I'm really hoping for a dump; I'm still waiting for a good dip to buy back into so I can take withdraw profits. I know it's only going to take 1 of these big projects on the Ethereum blockchain to do well to not only gain, but keep the attention of everyone. Even though it's "fuel" for the network, we all know how expensive gas can get. |
