If bitcoin unlimited scam wins I am selling all my BTCU and buying Ethereum.  Then ethereum price will equal BTC hopefully.  Ethereum needs to be #1 market cap.

Ditto. Fuck Roger Ver

IMO, BU is the better way forward.  That said: if there is a split, I'll also be dumping all that BTCU for Eth Cheesy  Cool

$10 incoming

Come now, you've been spamming this for weeks. Have you noticed it going below even $30?  Me neither!  Grin Grin

You know bitpop, some define insanity as doing the same thing but expecting a different result. When you use the same thought process, same approach, maybe same system over and over again and still getting the same result, it's time to change the above mentioned. Wise words if you're trying to get ppl to buy into etc by trolling here.  Cheesy Cheesy

Ethereum is always a great buy no matter what the current price is.

POS will push price to new level. I think 100 dollars will be very soon.

I agree, but PoS is still very far away from the latest announcements from Vitalik.

Quoting myself:

I just realize...

Ethereum, besides being the most disrupting technology since the invention of the internet, will create the largest amount of millionaires since the launch of Bitcoin.

Right now this may sound ridiculous for some of you but once you look at the potential, it's big... And "BIG" should be spelled in capital letters...

It's not some "bull market" that will create it's value, it's the real added market value created by Ethereum for financial services companies in the forthcoming decades.

Just quote me on this.
~Turing

This may be sooner than I could even predict...

Quoting myself quoting this.

True story. Source: aspiring millionaire  Grin Grin

I'm so happy I dumped other coins to buy eth when it was flooring last winter.  We're not done yet though. I'm predicting:
1.) Moderate price correction (<$30)
2.) Hard pump (>$55)
3.) Mild price correction
4.) Moon (as big projects like Augur/Golem/ICONOMI take off and add value).
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 20, 2017, 03:45:09 AM
Ethf already has 100,000,000 tokens. Hundreds of millions more are being added with icos. Tokens within tokens.

The exact same thing can happen with ETC. You're just jelly cuz there's so few projects launching on the ETC chain lol  Grin Grin

I was browsing the ethereum block explorer and found out about the token named Unicorn

Anyone here has 1? Can that tokens be traded?
Is anyone willing to gift one?

A "Unicorn" token is one that comes default with the Mist wallet. It's there to demonstrate how the wallet works with tokens, and has 0 actual value.

Download the wallet from github and start it up.  You'll then be the proud owner of a Unicorn token lol

I would like a screen shot!
 Because here: https://etherscan.io/tokens

They say something a little different!
Code:
Unicorns
As a playful way to thank the donors to the Ethereum Foundation, a token on the ethereum blockchain called the "Unicorn" will be generated when any donation over 2.014 ethers is received and automatically sent to the donor.

My statement still stands Smiley They're worth nothing: they're not based on any fiat value. Being a standard token, of course they're tradeable on the Ethereum network.  I don't know of any exchange that has them listed, if that's what you're looking for.

Maybe it was unnoticed, does anybody know the current size of ETH blockchain? Thank you in advance.

What's the problem? Next fork will deal with it.

You realize ETC has planned forks too, right?

I would think at this point the idea of a chain forking for upgrades would be pretty normal. What are you trying to get at with your fud?

Yeah I'll only do shorts, I'll short again

I opened a nice long position as soon as I realized the market wouldn't give me the floor I wanted to buy back in after I sold a bit.  Best decision I ever made to keep it open!  Grin Grin Almost time to close it though...

man i wish i was still holding my ETH i would be doing well right now. SMH

Haha I feel ya!  I always use a (reasonably small) portion of the coins I own for my day-trading ventures, and unfortunately I'm stuck waiting for a dump so I can buy back in at a profit!  Grin

Cryptocurrency ATMs On The Rise
https://www.ethnews.com/cryptocurrency-atms-on-the-rise

  • One company that offers Ether (ETH) from its machines is LAMASSU, co-founded by brothers Josh and Zach Harvey of Manchester, New Hampshire.
  • “Ethereum has some advantages over Bitcoin with crypto ATMs. Perhaps most important is the shorter confirmation times for cash-out transactions. While Bitcoin users must wait an average of 10 minutes before cashing out their cryptocurrency, Ethereum users should expect a considerably shorter wait time of 15 seconds.”

Definitely ethereum has advantages over bitcoin with crypto ATMs. And fiat has advantages over ethereum with crypto ATMs because confirmation times for cash-out transactions are instantaneous. You don't have to wait even 15 seconds... What a dumbass?!

lol I agree. Other than the obvious marketing value a crypto ATM provides, I really don't see the value of them. Leave ATMs for fiat!
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DCR] Decred - Hybrid PoW/PoS | btcsuite Devs | Tons of New Features | Go on: March 15, 2017, 01:33:23 AM
DCR down to $2  Undecided DASH up $150
Yep, almost. Well, at least in your wet pubertal dream.  Tongue
If the markets would slightly represent a REALISTIC EVALUATION of the true value of these coins prices should be more like DCR $50, DASH $20.
Anyway, we'll see.
btw: Can't wait to see some predictions on Augur regarding some of these prices.

Ahah! I've been thinking the same thing for months now!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Unlimited supply makes your bagholding dangerous!

Instead of zooming in on one particular point, tell the truth about the subject of supply.  How about being honest in your statements and put up the numbers for emission rate?  It really puts the whole "unlimited supply" into perspective.  Grin
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 15, 2017, 01:08:17 AM
Haven't heard of ETHF or ETHC before.  Undecided

Only our resident etc trolls use those terms.  They're trying to make them stick (unsuccessfully, ever since the fork).  The rest of the entire crypto community knows Ethereum as ETH and Ethereum Classic as ETC.

Again, you can't put any stock in what the trolls spew  Cheesy
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 14, 2017, 05:21:48 PM
Somebody here can give a more explanation about ENS. Does its service free for every user? I mean, if the effort to get.It will always be through the auction of the domain name?
I was feeling curious about how the auction works, it looks like everyone must pay more to get his domain.eth

It is not to be used, it is only for hype.

You are really boring with your trolling. Go to etc thread and pump yourself and other fools how great etc is and leave this one, you said xxxxxxxx times how you feel about eth, now you are like a broken record repeating yourself...

Have you tried posting in the etc thread? If you say anything negative, bitpop deletes it. Thus, he has nothing else better to do, as etc is dead now! lol  Grin Grin

I say let him troll here. All it does is show the true face of etc community to any new eyes looking in this thread  Cool
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 14, 2017, 05:18:14 PM
ETHF dump started. ETHC is up.

I truly truly hope it dumps a bit more! I'm looking for a new floor to get back in. Cheesy
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stratum_Subscribe timeout on: March 13, 2017, 09:24:48 PM
Finally figured out the issue: my router was blocking. I bought a long enough ethernet cord to plug my tower directly into my modem and verified that I could mine again with ccminer and minerd flavors over stratum. So, I simply reset my router and everything is fine.

So much headache for a simple 5 minute solution!
