The only thing I don't get is why ETH and Monero spiked up during BTC rally.
It weren't only ETH and XMR but a lot of other Alts. And it's logical. Let's say you hold Bitcoins and the price goes up, higher and higher and sharper. It seems like overheating and you begin to believe that it will correct soon or even crash. What would you do? Selling for Fiat maybe. Or investing in Alts. People often believe that events move markets, but that's to simple. Anticipation of events move markets, or with other words: Not what happens, but what people believe will happen is crucial. Ya, there were a few coins that didn't just see a price plummit during the BTC pump. Especially now as btc corrects, a number of alts are going up. I don't understand at all how trolls can think it's logical to blame VB for eth price rising nominally lol. Then again, we've all seen they just don't care about truth lol

Some miners may keep mining on a chain because they believe future profits will be worth it, but that's a minority of typical miners. ETHF miners don't believe in future profits. They believe in current profits. They dump everything at the moment they mine it. If you read any of my other sentences, I blatantly pointed that out. Yes, most miners do exactly that (including etc miners). Not all though. I've been mining since genesis block and hold >75% of my eth. I'll be glad someday that I did

http://etherplay.io/Etherplay has just released its online game platform that aims to transform the way people play games. While free to play games have democratized gaming, it has provided casual gamers with games that require constant and unpredictable payments to be enjoyed to their full extent. This made the role of game designer a lot harder and while some games has been able to get around the limitations, it has restricted the set of gameplay mechanics available Etherplay's aims to change that by bringing back the old "pay to play" model of the arcade machines. Players pay a small fee for each game session and as a bonus, players with the top scores get back some money in the form of the crypto currency Ether. This will allow us to design games for the full enjoyment of our players. The first competition will put you in control of a spaceship and your goal will be to shot at Asteroids. Be careful though as aliens lurk around. Get ready to have fun at http://etherplay.io/game/etherspaceAbout Etherplay Etherplay is a new skill game platform set to revolutionize how people play games. It is a come back to the pay to play model like it used to be at the time of arcade machine with a twist : Top players get to win money. For that to work Etherplay is using the recent development in blockchain technology to offer player a low fee of entry. This new business model should bring fun to the game world. Interesting idea, and a cool project using Ethereum. I don't how popular its going to be though...there's a reason the old "pay to play" model is history. These project leads are enjoyin too many member berries.

did vitalik realy say miners are disloyal ? https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/5lfugz/eip_186_modified/?sort=topquote from reddit: [–]vbuterinJust some guy 14 Punkt Another point is; Can we please see the results of any simulations studies on such issuance reduction? What is the expected effect in best case and worst case scenario? IMO miners right now are fairly disloyal and fungible creatures [EDIT: see my post here for a qualification of this comment]; they're very willing to jump between chains to maximize their profit, we saw this with ETH and ETC. Right now, ETH and ZEC both offer ~$3 per second (ETH is bigger, but ZEC is in a very rapid-inflation early phase). If issuance goes down to 2 ETH, then ETH starts to offer $1.2 per second. If no action on the ice age, including delaying it, is taken, then block time will increase ~4.5x by the end of the year, which will make ETH offer $0.7 per second. Of course he said it. What's the big deal? We all know this as fact already. Miners very typically pursue best profit. It's the whole reason services like "WhatToMine" are so popular. Some miners may keep mining on a chain because they believe future profits will be worth it, but that's a minority of typical miners.

What really, REALLY drives BURST up in 2017? It will take more than a small development/feature. Something needs to happen to really DRIVE BURST up? What will it be?!
Opinions?
Lol ya. I keep a tab open with all the ANN threads of the coins I follow closely. Each and every one of them has this kind of post: "2017 is the year for 'coinX'." I'm much more interested in those that have meat behind the boast IMO, Burst can be doing more to utilize smart contracts on the network. The coin doesn't operate like Ethereum, but it does have some of the same capabilities. I think we need to enable more devs to pursue their work on this blockchain, as opposed to others. The main selling point is 'Green Mining' because of the PoC algo. Surely there's something we can do with that besides saving electricity? I know the original Burst dev's roadmap included a way to utilize the storage of our plots. But...then he ditched the project as far as we can tell, so maybe that's a technical dead end.

One suggestion for the Admins here because it could protect others from waht happened me in the past: The Assets wich turned out as SCAM, e.g. BurstVest (9942303089158877431), should be marked as scam in the Asset List which is provided for users ( http://util.burst-team.us:8888/asset). I know that everyone could informe itsself about assets also in the busrt forum ( https://forums.burst-team.us/category/34/asset-scams) but i guess a lot of new users for Burst investing without looking at this site. Only a suggestion i would appreciate because i know from what i am writing (happened to me as a rookie also, cause not checking the whole informations). I've asked Luxe if it would be possible to move the known scams of to a separate session for scam coins. It should be in the next version. Manually configured list of scam coins that will be listed as such. That's great to hear and is there anyway we can delete a scam asset from the my assets tab? because I'm sick of seeing the BurstVest assets that I purchased, thankfully not many as it turned scam. Anyway just picked up some more Burstaker assets and some Bsilver assets. Happy New Year and may 2017 be a successful and prosperous year for Burst and the community! Nope. If you really don't want them, the only way is to transfer your asset to another address. Either make a new one and send it to that address, or pass them off to some random address you find This is the same as deleting though, so be careful because there's no way to "undo" after transferring an asset.

I just realized I have a sizeable amount of ETC in my Eth fork wallet. What do I need to do to get access to that? Is it as simple as installing the ETC wallet and importing my Eth seed?
If you want to send the ETH to the exchanges such as Poloniex, you will also send the ETC to it automatically. Ok, so how do I send specific token? Because I have hundreds of eth in my wallet, but only ~50 etc. I only want to send the ~50 etc.
