101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on how to place sports bets on: April 11, 2021, 11:59:36 PM
How come dice was included here when we are just talking about sports betting?
Because most of the famous Sports-Betting sites have an option to play Dice with very less deposit and high outcomes. You will be tempted to deposit a part of your winnings into the dice game to try your lock. You know, Greed.

OP Seems to have missed a very important point
 - Make sure you're playing on a reputed Sports-Betting site because if you win big, scammy sites will introduce a number of conditions like KYC/Bet verification to lock you out of your funds. Always, play safe even if the site promises massive deposit bonuses.
102  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Crystalfxtrades.us - investwithalice on Telegram on: April 11, 2021, 11:48:52 PM
yellowstonetrading seems like a pure scam with their 80% VIP win rate. Any trader with a guarantee of an 80% win rate will not share any trade tactics with anyone and let himself become a millionaire instead. Why would they anyway?

These scams are very popular on social media or dating sites like Instagram or Tinder. Telegram is one of the ways but unfortunately, they get huge victims from Tinder/Instagram/Facebook.

Hey @Hampuz, I made a mistake while listing down my number of posts, I typed my activity points that is 1556 instead of my post count that is 5447. Could you update the spreadsheet with the correct starting post count? Thanks!
104  Other / Meta / Re: New report feature? - Good, bad, unhandled reports on: April 11, 2021, 11:06:20 PM
You've got to wonder what the admin/mods are doing to let over seven hundred reports go "unhandled" especially when reports tend to disappear from the "your reports" list after a month or so.
Were those all 700 reported within a month?
I sort of know when my report is going to get unhandled status - It's mostly the posts from reputed members which are borderline trolling/off-topic/harassment or move -> section request that I had reported. The decision of the mods can be argued upon and called sort of biased and are definitely controversial. For example, you can argue if one post belongs in Meta or Reputation and both sections are right depending on the argument presented. Makes it hard for mods to decide and hence, unhandled.

Are they still there?
Yes, you should be able to view them in your report lists no?
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to Poker on: April 11, 2021, 10:58:09 PM
Edit: I'm just regarding games that you can play PvP and not against a house-edge-casino.. Wink
Almost 90% of the games you'd find around online casinos are based on house-edge. I recollect there were a few small games like that rat race, which were sort of p2p but didn't get too far as they just don't interest regular gamblers. You could definitely find a live Poker where you play against an actual player and no computer is involved and yes even the shuffling is live. Again, very uncommon scenario in gambling.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newcomers, Moonboys and Fools on: April 11, 2021, 10:50:05 PM
NFT's are the new cool and I can't wait for this trend to die out. I'm sick of the celeb news mentioning Celeb's name + an NFT worth millions already! Seems like these fools who had no idea what a cryptocurrency is are suddenly on the NFT bandwagon. The technology is good but the prices and the entire community are just toxic. No, I wouldn't pay 50,000 for a digital artwork that has no real-life value. Anybody starting out and if you're getting too excited with NFT's, wait a few months and see where this trends and then make a decision. Don't fall into this celebrity trap.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wyoming legalized online sports betting - crypto wagers allowed too on: April 11, 2021, 10:39:22 PM
The state government played it really smart and this isn't as much good news for the community as we think it is. Since they have legalized cryptos, they would expect you to pay taxes on your gambling earnings which wasn't the case before. They wouldn't even wait for you to convert your winnings into fiat, they could simply ask you to pay taxes in cryptos which is another level of centralization.

Wasn't online sports betting always legal in the States as long as the betting company is registered in the US?
108  Economy / Reputation / Re: Legendary trying to enroll 2 Alt Accounts at the same signature campaign on: April 11, 2021, 06:20:42 PM
Giving a negative trust for this case completely depends on the campaign manager and the rules of the campaign as mentioned above. However, if someone has been long enough on this forum to become a legendary account, they would definitely know it is WRONG to participate in the signature campaigns with alt accounts. I mean they wouldn't really resemble a good contributing member to the forum, right?

As a penalty, if I was the campaign manager I'd ban them from participating in my campaigns for a few months or expect them to publicly apologize?
109  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: NEW! BTCLexicon.com - The most comprehensive bitcoin glossary anywhere! on: April 09, 2021, 10:49:01 PM
Glad you've actually put the efforts into linking to the related videos. Very comprehensive indeed! I'm sure there are a lot more terms to be added but you're definitely heading in the right direction as far as contributing as a free resource to the community I suppose!

My only suggestion would be, don't forget to use bitcointalk as your database that is there are a number of threads and posts here explaining topics in great detail which you could link to on your website.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are There Drug Options for Gamblers' Disorderlyness? on: April 09, 2021, 10:39:19 PM
This friend is almost turning into something else and needs help.

Are There Drug Options for Gamblers' Disorderliness?
Your best bet is probably getting them medical professional help. A therapist, a psychologist, or a doctor dealing with mental health issues. I doubt the pharma industry will produce a "Gambler's Disorderliness" drug because gambling isn't a disease. They will most likely prescribe him general drugs they used to treat anxiety/depression /other mental health issues. Most of the time it isn't even drugs but just a session with a therapist.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most entertaining Twitch gambling streamer? on: April 09, 2021, 10:32:58 PM
Hey, I wanted to make a thread here as I haven't seen one where people can share their favourite streams. I think watching twitch gambling streams is a repsonsible and great way to enjoy gambling without risking anything yourself.
Without risking anything? I think the other way around. If you're someone who has never gambled before and you're watching a streamer making money off a gambling website, you'd be influenced to partake in the activity yourself. That is how advertising works?

Secondly, you're likely to get banned because twitch only allows legal gambling, the site, and the gambler must be registered in the same country and should be legal in their jurisdiction.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT are making more sense on: April 08, 2021, 10:58:01 AM
Note this is not a financial advice

NFT will be far more adopted than DeFi and yes I'm positive that it will be more successful than DeFi with the ways things are going right now, I'm no more hearing hypes about DeFi projects now and attentions have been shifted to NFT, do you think NFT are the real deal because the market cap of NFT will visibly surpass DeFi I believe, what do you have to say about this? Am I wrong or right in any way?
DeFi's will beat NFT's in the long run. For whatever reasons, NFT's seems to be far more expensive to buy and only are affordable to the rich. Not like we can ever purchase a tiny part of the digital good so there are very few rich folks who will afford to bid or trade those highly-priced items. The market cap is huge because all the celebrities/athletes are jumping on the bandwagon to buy/sell something as a collectable which are insanely expensive.

Also, my knowledge is fairly based on stuff I see on the famous NFT spots like OpenSea/NBA-Top/.
113  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quality of a post on: April 08, 2021, 10:35:57 AM
If you really need to put that much logic into writing a post, assume it's not the best quality or a post with the appropriate content. I look at it this way - If you find a topic interesting and are knowledgeable about it, you will naturally end up writing a constructive reply. Otherwise, you will end up tailoring your post to match your signature requirements or the general perception of a quality post.

- Instead of obsessing over writing a quality post, be curious about the technology around here and have a will to contribute to the forum constructively.
114  Economy / Gambling / Re: btc gambling site (crash) source code wanted on: April 08, 2021, 10:22:10 AM
I'm pretty sure that some gambling site's (in particular with the crash game) source code can be found online for free, but I can't find one ... can you give me a hand? Huh

if you know any forum where they are present or some site, can you send me the link?

thanks Embarrassed
You will most likely not find something as specific as a crash game. The closest thing you can come across to a crash game is the script without any backend or fronted but the basic logic how the game would work. You'll have to code everything else yourself.

An Alternative - Find a casino provider that supports the crash game and license it. You'll pay some fees for it but can avoid the hassle of coding all of it yourself.
115  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: News aggregator for early stage crypto projects on: April 08, 2021, 10:11:19 AM
This could be really helpful in listing all these new NFT's and DeFi markets. However, I don't want to be opening up the website every other second to check the updates. If you could turn this into a chrome extension, it would be great! With just one click I can list all the projects and should I wish to know further I can open the link as with the current website. The effort involved is fairly small since you already have all the necessary code!

Good Luck!
116  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: is localbitcoins scamming me? on: April 08, 2021, 04:05:29 AM
Update: Their support have answered and i'm in the process yo unlock My account, i'll update when they answer again
Glad your account will be unlocked! You can really learn a good lesson from this -

No matter how trustworthy the exchange is, you should NEVER store your coins on an exchange wallet. The possibility is, they will lock you out of the accounts by introducing riddiculous conditions.
117  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for script and web developer on: April 06, 2021, 03:51:21 PM
It would be nice to know the budget for the project, maybe that way the developers can take a decision if join your project or if it's just a waste of time.

THIS.

I've wasted enough time talking to such requests and then ended up knowing these so-called soon-to-be gambling site owners have a budget of $200. I preach to them how I'm a Computer Science Engineer and the code we would provide will be of the highest quality and how we consider security as one of our top priorities while writing code but then they leave me absolutely surprised with a $200 budget. All I know is even if they managed to get a website up for $200 the project would still fail.
118  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lendefi - Scams, Blackmail, Extortion, & Murder - This will shock you! 💥💥💥 on: April 06, 2021, 03:41:59 PM
This was an interesting read indeed! Thanks for putting it in such an organized way!  What I wonder is, do they not have laws in Australia against murders? I believe he did his 10 years for manslaughter and then he was given all the equal rights as a normal person in the society? That sucks! The murderers shouldn't be allowed to conduct businesses if anything else.

Hi,

Send me a PM for details! I will be interested in getting this done.
Also, I'm not sure if there are only scripts for this but I will be writing a custom one anyway if the exchange rules are very specific and need manual checks on most of the transactions.
