1021  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER buyercodesaws on: May 29, 2018, 11:34:15 PM
I'm absolutely sure that this coupon did not come.
I never disagreed with that.I said, if you could have checked his feedback you'd get an idea if your coupon would ever come.

I'll give the readers a free 10x 200USD coupon for free, so if you want to get it, follow the signing link and leave your Bitmain imeil.
I don't want any coupons man.Why did you start a self moderated thread ? Why being so generous to give out free coupons to anyone who reads this post ?
1022  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER buyercodesaws on: May 29, 2018, 11:20:56 PM
Clearly you didn't see it coming, did you ? Self Moderated threads + No Vouch + Already tagged by a DT member for shady account sales  === You taking a huge risk to trade with him.The negative feedback was there for a reason and you conveniently ignored it.
1023  Economy / Gambling / Re: | PVP Gambling | ★★ btcraffle.io ★★ | Provably Fair | on: May 29, 2018, 07:15:16 PM
House edge is 4% and only applies to larger games, small games the house does not take a cut. Since it is only players betting vs players we can be bankroll less. We just have to cover for server costs, advertisement, etc..
To keep site up and running along with proper development operations , you definitely need some sort of income.Have you defined the limits for the house-edge yet ? The 4% will be applied only if the total amount passes the threshold of x value. That X needs to be defined.Better yet, you can have different X values according to the total pool. This will ensure you will get something from every game.
1024  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ubonium.com [endorsed by aTriz] and brandnetwork.net a SCAM on: May 29, 2018, 06:46:00 PM
I disagree with that part of your statement, because the manager's reputation is definitely on the line if the project turns out to be a scam.
I agree. But no matter how much you research and do your background checks, there are still services which are so well presented that the managers will fail to notice their real intentions.

Unfortunately for aTriz, he knew about the dishonesty of the campaign he was managing and went along with it.
Yeah that's the bad part.

Managers really should do some due diligence about the projects for which they're managing the campaigns/bounties, and I suspect that many of them either don't care--since they think that's not their business--or are in on the scam.  If you take a look at some of these ICO bounties, it's obvious the managers are part of the team or just don't give a shit what happens as long as they get paid.  This is one reason why I'll never join one of those.
You're right. If that bounty seems like an obvious scam, it's the responsibility of the managers to warn the participants.I'm talking about worst case scenarios here like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1266987.msg13086584#msg13086584   a scam so well managed and was also advertised on the forum adds.
1025  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Dicryptionary: Urban Dictionary for Crypto on: May 29, 2018, 06:38:47 PM
Your project is really interesting and have a great potential.

You really need to enhance the interface with auto-suggest and fuzzy matching. The word for 'chain' returned Blockchain, so fuzzy matching it with the auto-suggest in real time will give user a better idea of what exactly they're searching for.

Also check how every keyword searched for is appended as the form param. That looks bad.Use event.preventDefault()
1026  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Private key (privkey) hunters - unite! on: May 29, 2018, 06:32:39 PM
My fellow crypto hackers. I've been into finding BTC private keys for a little more than a year. I have slightly less than 18k private keys in my own database.
That's interesting. What are the sources of your private keys ? How do you come across them ? What do you do if you find a key with addresses with some notable amount of bitcoins ?

The vast majority of the privkeys I've discovered are NOT from brainwallets (i.e. weak SHA256 hashes). Image search for QR-codes was nice for a while though, but those days are over. I have a couple of other techniques that I'm fairly sure anyone else hasn't thought of.
I know you wouldn't share but makes me a little insecure if you have established 'ways' to discover private keys online.

Anyways.... I was thinking maybe someone here has the same hobby as I do? Care to hook up and share some thoughts and strategies?
Me too.I'm a rookie though.Started collecting private keys just 2 minutes back.
1027  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ubonium.com [endorsed by aTriz] and brandnetwork.net a SCAM on: May 29, 2018, 06:20:30 PM
Similarly they will hire a reputed bounty manager and announce their ICO and Bounty and the Bounty Hunters and Investors would invest their time and money in the ICO and lose them. Hope bounty managers won't promote the Brandcoins by reading this thread.
Literally, the job of the bounty manager is to manage the bounty campaign.By managing I mean, updating the sheets, kicking out spammers/cheaters and maybe distributing bounties. It's really upto the investors/bounty hunters to do their research before starting the bounties.

Bounty manager could do a bit of research but even if the projects turns out to be a scam, they could really care less as they get paid per week. They aren't really 'promoting' anything here.Like I said, they're managing the sheets.Bounty hunters are the one's that should be careful while participating in the bounties regardless of who is managing it.
1028  Other / Meta / Re: Buying account with defaulted loan on: May 29, 2018, 06:07:30 PM
Why would you want to pay money for an account with a bad history?
More like, why would you want to pay for an account at all ?

So no, nothing will likely happen if you somehow get your hands on an account that's defaulted on a loan.  The account WILL get tagged if it's discovered that it's been sold, but the new owner isn't responsible for paying the loan back.
If an account defaulted on a loan, there is a 90% chance it will already be flagged. I think OP meant if the negative tag from the account will be cleared if he pays the loan back. There are only two possible cases for doing so
1.The account price is more (according to the current market) than the loan defaulted.
2.OP is an idiot.
1029  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcoin.ag scam! on: May 23, 2018, 01:11:52 PM
Know your operator before blindly trusting them with your money.Had you taken 3 seconds to google about betcoin.ag with keywords like "scam",you could have a few hundred dollars. This thread serves no purpose as its just another thread with similar accusations.Every once a in a while we are used to see noobs opening threads about betcoin.ag scam.
1030  Other / Meta / Re: Automated distribution of Merit. on: May 23, 2018, 12:58:30 PM
What I was thinking was we could also include something like as in steemit. You get merit for sending merit and the merit is very minute and is based on how much merit you hold. Or it could be very well a modified version of steemit because it won't help new members in any way.
You get a merit for sending merit ? What does that even mean ? The rest of the story sounds equally absurd to me.

Is there any way that the steemit model could be implemented for merit system?
theymos is the right person to answer that question.Given the complexity and centralised structure of stemmit,I doubt he will ever agree to something like that.

If merit was actually made a commodity like steempower, it would really have some fine value.
We don't want merit to have any value but should only help right accounts to rank up.
1031  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain was created to solve human problems. Why not the biggest one? on: May 23, 2018, 12:53:05 PM

Blockchain was created to solve human problems. Why not the biggest one?
* Let me rephrase that for you - Blockchain was created to solve Digital Banking Problems.

I believe that we live in the first generation capable of answering the biggest question, "what are we"? And the "why"?
We haven't really answered that question yet."What are we and Why are we" still doesn't have factual response.

Blockchain is remarkable because it conveys what is possible when intelligent people work towards a cumulative goal. We live in the age of information and technology -- knowledge is available, and mankind is now capable of so much more than ever before. However, we waste so much of our ability chasing money. If we were to work together to discover the reasons for life, perhaps we could understand it.
We call it Capitalism. Our innovations would never find it's way to the mass audience if not for the capitalist economy. Innovation serves no purpose if it doesn't change the usual lives of the ordinary people.
1032  Other / Archival / Re: Marlboroza is abusing DT power! on: May 23, 2018, 12:43:32 PM
I suppose, I got to you eh? look at your green trust with no reference.
Not really.I'm just a mere case of a green trust with no reference.Look around, you might as well establish a pattern of dark green trusted members without any references.Do you just fancy it because its given by 'Vod me Lord' ? You shouldn't.
1033  Other / Meta / Re: Automated distribution of Merit. on: May 23, 2018, 12:34:37 PM
So you really want us to go back to square one ? Where all the automation of activity and the ranking system started. The above idea would not encourage anything but shitposting which will be credited with merits.I don't thinking crediting shit-posters with merits is a good idea.
1034  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Pizza Day - Why old members are no longer active here on: May 23, 2018, 12:24:46 PM
Many people left because the forum is overrun by spammers.
Not quite true.

This is the obvious answer. It's hard to get a decent discussion going here. Either it gets overrun with spammers, or those desperate to gain rank with negligible value posting, or it gets moved to off topic by a mod, and then it falls off the first index page before your mouse can get its clicker out.
Well, you can always start a self moderated thread and if the thread in it's appropriate board, it never gets moved by the mods.(I have never experienced at least). The thread falling off the first index is very true and you can't help it.
1035  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Help needed: Signature Campaign Budget on: May 23, 2018, 12:14:53 PM
Now, I am a little bit limited with more organic promotion rather than a paid one.
You will not get an organic promotion without investing something.Period.

Your product has to be extremely out of the box to get publicised with word of mouth promotion (just like how bitcoin was).In the saturated market, no matter how good your stuff is, the niche is filled with too many products to stand out.The best marketing strategies often stay ahead in the race.
1036  Other / Archival / Re: Marlboroza is abusing DT power! on: May 22, 2018, 11:42:01 PM
So have you PMed the DT1 members yet?
No.I suppose he is busy stalking user profiles and seeking Vod for some enlightenment.
1037  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Web-Developers on: May 22, 2018, 10:38:06 PM
i dont want my username to be public, im looking for motivated coders to work on several longterm projects.
instead of paying hourly i will pay % of profit of each project they are involved in, each project is different and has unique features.

What holds you credible for the developers to trust you ? You have long term projects, fine. How does a developer makes sure his work is valued and right money is paid for his efforts ? No escrow,no upfront payment,no credibility.I can see a lot of red flags for developers willing to work with you.Good luck with your chase.
1038  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: May 22, 2018, 10:34:27 PM
I just wanted to update on my case.
CLoudbet is still claiming that I had 2 accounts which isn't true and they refuse to tell me what happens with balance on my locked account(near to 3 BTC).
I wait their answer and I have to say that solving problems this slow will cause this bookmakers ratings to drop hugely. I was so satisfied with cloudbet since using it and this came like a cold shower for me. I still hope they will fix this.
Do you mind posting the conversation you had with them ? Precisely, they suspecting you of having multiple accounts.Locking users out of their accounts with balance as high as 3 bitcoins is not funny and certainly shows how untrustworthy a casino is.

@CloudBet - Guy's asking for an update on his case since you have forcefully claimed his 3 bitcoins.Care you give him appropriate explanations at the earliest ?
1039  Other / Meta / Re: "whitelist" an user on: May 22, 2018, 10:29:23 PM

The case is not the same with you.Seems like, it's you vouching for yourself and that's your imaginary friend. Please pay the evil removal fees jackass.

I'm confused should I be appreciating the calibrated efforts that he put to take care of that many accounts or should be mad that we couldn't track him down any sooner. So basically, you can become a millionaire from the forum if you are smart enough to manage 1000+ accounts ? How is it even possible to login into 200 of them without losing your mind ?
