1061  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: zebi.io [Indian Scam ICO] Mastermined by Indian Tech Scammer "Babu Munagala" on: May 07, 2018, 06:35:08 PM
I have done deep research on Zebi and I would like to tell you guys that it's NOT A SCAM.
Opinions without facts don't hold any weight.Applies to you and the OP.Speaking of the OP,he is a well known Indian scammer know around here.Anything coming from him should not be taken seriously.

I haven't invested and don't wish to; but it's not a scam. YES, it does have quite a bit of misinformation around it where you find it being compared to ETH, EOS and ICON... But the team doesn't claim so ever... Shills like Suppo and Balina have hyped it to no end; but the team hasn't lied or scammed.
They're not a scam and that statement also doesn't mean they're very reliable with the investments. For a second,I would take them seriously considering their team members hailing from the Indian Institue of Technology.
1062  Other / Meta / Re: Meaningless and Redundant Topics on: May 07, 2018, 06:29:40 PM
There isn't much that can be done other than the merit system and tagging these morons when they screw up and get caught cheating or breaking forum rules.  OP, please report stuff when you see it.
I think the most easiest way to deal with that problem is by not paying for the posts in the redundant threads.Of course, the campaign they're in should be managed by a responsible manager who would put in efforts to make sure the participant doesn't post in such senseless threads and even if they do,they don't get paid.
1063  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need explanation if possible? on: May 03, 2018, 07:51:06 AM
Since you're so good with sarcasm in most of your posts,I'll just assume this is another sarcastic post at it's best and move on.  Wink

1065  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price checker windows app ?? on: April 26, 2018, 06:06:55 AM
No not wrong.. you're just a non reader and have no idea what you're talking about.
Non-Reader ? You can say that.I'm pretty sure what I'm talking about.Don't give me that "I wrote a windows app"  and now I'm the next big thing after Bill Gates attitude.I did misunderstood your post but I'm pretty sure my technical insights are correct. Also you know, people using Windows for "programming" is an instant turn down for me.

I wrote the app and single function means exactly that, single function. Its a GET tied to a text box for the URL of your choice.  you're expanding on the programming and saying it could have negative features, duh well obviously any app could have such a thing but that is not an issue of this thread because I was gauging response. If it was released, another capable member like me would vet it first and tell you if it had such a thing, which in this case would be 30 seconds since it's a single function 900kb standalone, it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to find a second hidden function is a 900k app.
"Single function 900kb standalone" - Lmao Mate,do you even optimise ? I can confidently say you're a terrible programmer if your single function can weigh a standalone upto 900kb.Maybe learn a thing or two instead of being the self proclaimed badass ?

1066  Other / Meta / Re: Should BTT start to use kyc for fighting against multi-accounts shit posts? on: April 25, 2018, 09:16:20 AM
If you searched Meta you would see this gets suggested every once in a while but theymos is never going to do it. The only reasonable way I can see how we could combat multi accounts is to remove signatures whether that be permanently or charge people a substantial fee to be able to have one. If the only way you could get one was to pay $500 or so it would eliminate farming all together and severely limit the amount of accounts someone could have to the amount they can afford. As long as you can farm accounts for free just by putting effort into shitposting over time then people will continue to flock here in their thousands to do so.
The moment that happens, forum will lose massive amount of traffic that comes in which primarily lures the advertisers to advertise here.Yes the idea will certainly keep the shit posters and account farmers away thereby enforcing high quality posts but it will result in humongous traffic loss.I'm afraid such opportunity will be taken by other developers to start a new forum which will turn out to be a new breeding place for the shit-posters and advertisers.
1067  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I need to create an Bitcoin online shop on: April 25, 2018, 09:00:14 AM
I need to create an Bitcoin online shop

This shop will have about 10 -20 Products and it needs to be written in php and it needs to accept bitcoins only

I dont want to use services like bitpay or such, I want to have full controll over all the funds and transactions

It needs to have a shopping cart, i dont even need a login or register page

Simply click on the items enter your contact details and pay in bitcoin thats it

Can anyone lead me in the right direction??
Whenever i search on google i always get to coinbase bitpay nd all that but I dont want to use them

What skills do you have to achieve whatever is needed ? You know what you need, now you just need to install a daemon and start coding! If you can't code, you need to hire someone who can do it for you.May I ask why exactly you need it to be developed in PHP ? Wordpress is an alternative if you can watch and learn things from YouTube/Udemy.
1068  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need help looking for a VPS that accepts BTC on: April 25, 2018, 08:49:46 AM
Ty. I will check it later and see how cheap the prices are compared to the fiat only VPS. I am planning to run a node for a long time so I am trying to find the best deals that accept BTC.
Have you checked them out https://vpsserver.com/  ?
From my personal experience, they're cheap, reliable and great at customer support.Been using them for 3 months without any issues.First month is billed after you have used the VPS for a month.Overall a good service and sets-up within a few minutes.

I'm from the Donbass and bounty my way of survival
People who consider bounties as their only way of survival
 - Should not be allowed on the forum.
 - Should really focus on getting a job in real life.
 - Should rethink their life choices between reality and virtual clouds.
 - Should go out of their houses more often and maybe get an education or something.
 - Should consider bans as hints given by the forum which indicates that they need to change their way of life.
1070  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red Trust. on: April 25, 2018, 07:16:29 AM
1) These social media accounts were used by this bitcointalk profile to join many bounty campaigns.
That is completely fine.

2) So having a transaction with someone indicates those accounts are alts?
Nope.Having 'frequent transactions' with them and posting one after the other in the same bounty threads repeatedly does raise suspicions.Otherwise, what is the probability of your friend posting right after your post in the same bounty thread on the same day ?

3) If still this is the case saying sending money to someone shows that they are alts, then the way eth had been cashed out you all won't believe.
That's not the case here.

4) If you want I can explain you the whole thing in a pm becuase it is very long and I don't wether posting that here would be correct or not.
Explain that to the person who left you negative feedback.
1071  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red Trust. on: April 25, 2018, 07:03:00 AM
The above link has screenshots showing that all of 3 of us have applied to campaigns with our own social media accounts. And all the accounts are pretty old. I think no one would plan 5-6 years prior to use the social media accounts to apply and "Cheat" bounties.
You do know right the tag you got has nothing to do with the social media accounts you used but the addresses which showed you were connected with the other accounts on the forum ? You got tagged for cheating the bounties with multiple accounts.Cut it.

I don't know wether this would be enough to show that we are 3 different beings. I would like to hear from you members that would this be enough or something more would be required.
So what's the relation between you and other two accounts ? You have had transactions with them.Mind explaining why ?
1072  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price checker windows app ?? on: April 25, 2018, 06:16:02 AM
Those are not the same thing.  This is intended for large screen media center and those site are intended for small screen desktops and not very customizable.

Which windows version do you use ? Depending on your needs, you can look for something like this https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/store/p/bitcoin-price-live-tile/9wzdncrdkgqk I'm sure you'll find it.

There is really no comparison to web apps or anything that runs in a browser or on java.  It's funny you mention trust because those sites are the worst and open up a dozen connections to other sites and share your data, whereas this is a single function locked in http->get .

Wrong. You think the single function just gets the data and doesn't post anything ? How can you be so sure ? Infact, browser based vulnerabilities can only access the data from the browser/cache or the site itself.Unless downloaded locally, such vulnerabilities are likely not to access your private data from the hard drives.Wherein,an app which is installed locally can do whatever the fuck it wants as needed by the programmer.

Obviously you don't have a media center or a always on display like a trader or business might have so I think you missed the point.
I might just be able to develop an app which can be used to display prices on the big screens.
1073  Other / Meta / Re: Indian Sub New Moderator ? [Recommendations Welcome] on: April 25, 2018, 06:07:35 AM
Arrey koi banado yaar isse... Kaam ka launda[1] hai... Grin Grin Grin

Please make him the mod; looks like a useful individual...
Haha Thanks for your compliment but like I said I wouldn't even stand close to the eligible member who actually deserve to be a MOD.I mean they should be very high in numbers when it comes to submitting reports and overall report accuracy.Secondly,I'm just not interested/responsible enough to take that position.

P.S. We can even have a voting exercise among 2-3 candidates who appear to be suitable.
Theymos hasn't acknowledged the thread yet and we have no idea what he has to say about this.Maybe he has other plans for finding a suitable Mod.
1074  Other / New forum software / Re: Tag notification on Bitcointalk on: April 24, 2018, 07:55:40 PM
So, basically a "Follow Member" system?

Someone suggested the same here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3017552.0
Nope I don't think he means the follower system. What he mean is,he needs to have a notification sent to him if a members tags his user-name in a post.Similar to telegram/facebook.I'm not sure if this is discussed somewhere but considering the new website (if ever launched) will have the notification system, this wouldn't be a big feature to add.
1075  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Twitter indefinitely suspends FreeBitcoins.com handle. on: April 24, 2018, 07:49:47 PM
This account also wasn't a personal account.  It was a crypto business.  It seems it was more likely targeted for being Bitcoin related/faucet/cryptocurrency related.
There you go! Should answer your question. They don't give temp bans for the accounts reported by another user/service.They are aggressively banning crypto-related services anyway especially ICO related stuff.

Ugh- sorry that happened to you- all these restrictions are getting CRAZY!
It's a private owned service and this is certain to happen. What we need ? A blockchain based twitter !
1076  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain in business on: April 24, 2018, 07:33:29 PM
I don't understand how blockchain could be applied into business. Anyone has a real life example of the advantage of a smart contract?
Blockchain technically can be applied into every business which wants transparency in their operations.

Transparency and immutability.
Yeah that! Being a programmer the word immutability keeps haunting me in my dreams!
1077  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to buy laptops/PC's with BTC? on: April 24, 2018, 07:29:58 PM
I'm looking for suggestions as to where i can easily buy laptops with cryptocurrencies (preferably Bitcoin).

I've found this site, https://spendabit.co/go?q=laptop, but i'm not too sure how legit it is.

Anyone that has ever used them before? Alot of the products listed there redirect to a dead link, or are no longer available.
I'm not exactly giving you the suggestions in terms of a website but here's what I would do if I were you,
 - Find a bitcoiner from your country and see if they can buy the laptop for you and get paid in bitcoins of course you can pay them some tips for the work.
 - Open a thread, post your desired model and see if anyone is ready to do it with BTC and ship it to you.
 - Not sure how legit purse.io is but you can try them.
 - SpendAbit is just a mediator which lists down the websites that sells your stuff from BTC.

Quote
spendabit is a search engine for things you can buy with Bitcoin.

I don't understand how blockchain could be applied into business. Anyone has a real life example of the advantage of a smart contract?
Blockchain technically can be applied into every business which wants transparency in their operations. For real life instances, you can take ripple into consideration along with a few other coins set to change the way banking works. If you're looking for something where blockchain is being implemented and a business is actively using it,you need to wait a couple of more years maybe.
1079  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking to join a project on: April 24, 2018, 07:12:28 PM
I might be able to hook you up with the right people depending on what you bring to the table. Also are you looking for a full-time position which pay in terms of stakes as rewards or a freelance project with fixed payments in btc/alt-coins ?

Send me a personal message with more details on the skillset you have to offer and I shall take it from there.
1080  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io phishing? on: April 24, 2018, 07:04:39 PM
They claim that World League is sponsored by sportsbet, but it is the same.
Haha these shit-holes can go heights to scam people.I wonder when these bubble headed twats will realise how big this scam really is.

@OP,the said member's password was reset recently so I believe they're hacked and the culprit might be the one sending those fake links or whatever we are not able to view at the moment. That spam is mostly deleted by the mods.
