641  Economy / Reputation / Re: Begging merit via PM. Really annoying to me. on: December 17, 2018, 11:53:44 PM
lol, these days people will create a thread for everything. Again, does this shit really needed a thread? You could just use the Report Message to Admin functionality and let them deal with it after you've blocked the message sender.
642  Other / Meta / Re: We should use "Report to moderator" more often on: December 17, 2018, 11:48:13 PM
It seems like the last 100ish I reported nothing happened.  I've since basically stopped reporting posts in the OT and P&S subs because if the posts are not going to be removed then I am wasting my time and the mods time by reporting it.  Perhaps it just isn't time efficient for the mods to trash posts in those subs?
Perhaps, those posts are okay and don't violate any terms and conditions of the forum? Maybe according to you they look trashy but it makes actual sense for someone else? I believe, mods are doing their jobs perfectly without being biased.

When I see people say "report to mods more" I chuckle a little and think, ya I tried it, not too effective so meh, only in rare cases do I use it now.
Most of the posts that I report are acted on accurately. Nevertheless, as a constructive forum member, it's one's responsibility to report the posts they think are spammy.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Blockchain. Hello Hashgraph. on: December 17, 2018, 11:42:11 PM
If hashgraph beats blockchain. Will bitcoin and other blockchain coin die?
No, they won't. HashGraph is a patented tech and many crypto enthusiasts critic such technologies. Personally, I'm not a big fan of technology that is patented by someone. Even if HashGraph is used to create a coin like Bitcoin, it will take ages for it to develop a commercial value. By the time it gets some market value, Bitcoin will be much ahead in terms of the market share along with a few other good coins. The technologies will not even compete with each other. At the end of the day, it's upto the users to decide which tech they're more comfortable with.
644  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Get notified when your Bitcoin transaction is confirmed on: December 17, 2018, 11:35:02 PM
One solution I imagined was to take advantage of Web Push Notifications (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Push_API).
It's almost universal (all modern desktop browser support it, FF and Chrome on Android too, only Safari on iOS doesn't). The advantage over email is that it's anonymous.
What do you think about it?
Web Push notifications are not anonymous. One explicitly allows permissions for the website to send them notifications. It's not a bad idea as compared to email but a better approach probably would be a chrome extension (with code open sourced of course). It would be much handy for a lot of users without the need for a subscriber based notification service.

I'm pretty confident you don't have a satoshi on your scamming ass. Please sign a message from an address containing 2k USD to prove you are serious about your business. Your email sounds like you are a son of Nigerian Prince.
646  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Dev Team Acquisition on: December 17, 2018, 11:23:55 PM
We are currently are a point in which the full ecosystem has been complete outside of blockchain technology and now want to integrate blockchain.
I'm afraid you might have to rethink your entire architecture if the developers don't see a point in integrating blockchain at this stage. When developing centered products, the idea of planning a project with blockchain in the initiation phase is beneficial. You don't know how things would be from a blockchain developer's point of view.

Quoting this for you.
647  Other / Meta / Re: Top 200 Merit Receivers without Merit from the Top 200 Merit Receivers on: December 17, 2018, 11:04:58 PM
I'm surprised my profile is still on that list! It's been months since I last posted here or have earned a merit. Makes me wonder if the forum's quality posts are actually deteriorating. Grin Anyhow, the drama above is the reason why I don't want to leave this place anytime soon.
648  Economy / Digital goods / Need Someone from the US to buy something online and then Ship to Europe on: November 23, 2018, 04:18:29 PM
Hi, I don't want to miss out on this great Black Friday Deal https://www.jbl.com/black-friday-sale/JBL+Pulse+3.html?cgid=black-friday-sale&dwvar_JBL%20Pulse%203_color=Black-USA-Current#start=1 I'm looking for someone trusted to help me ship this to Europe as JBL doesn't ship international. I don't mind paying first and taking care of the shipping charges. Obviously I won't be dealing with newbies with no reputation.
649  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Adidas Pod-s3.1-shoes on: October 17, 2018, 07:04:06 PM
Hey what color are the shoes? I would like to see them.
Hey they're the same colour as that link takes you to that is CORE BLACK / CORE BLACK / FTWR WHITE https://www.adidas.co.uk/pod-s3.1-shoes/AQ1059.html
650  Other / Meta / Re: My account has been blocked, deprived of the opportunity to write. on: October 16, 2018, 10:13:38 PM
Thanks and on it - though I will know what mistakes to make in the future
Please skip the link to the entire list of rules for which you immediately send to the ban.
Thanks a lot in advance.

You don't need a list of rules to know that copy-paste is bad. You don't need to know which rules "immediately send to the ban" - you should comply with ALL rules.

The link is in my signature. Too late for you though.

thanks for the answer
rules to study in more detail for the future will not prevent ...
since they are so strict.
And how fuckkin difficult it is to just not open the website anymore. You will be doing us a favour.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY]🚀UBCOIN - EXCHANGE CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR REAL GOODS🚀 on: October 16, 2018, 08:37:37 AM
Why are people still posting here? The bounty was over a long time ago. Please refrain from posting. The thread will be locked once the distribution is completed.

653  Other / Meta / Re: Unfair to Jr.Members on: October 14, 2018, 12:17:11 PM
First off, I agree with the implementation of 1 Merit for Jr. Members, but I find it unfair that those who were already Jr.Members were demoted to Newbie again, it's just unfair, they should have received 1 Merit from the System automatically and so only new members would be needed to get 1 Merit. When merit was implemented everyone automatically received Merit based on activity, so why is it now different?
Fuck off already
654  Economy / Goods / Selling Adidas Pod-s3.1-shoes on: October 13, 2018, 09:01:06 PM
Hey folks, I got these Adidas Pod S-3-1 shoe couple of weeks back which doesn't seem to fit my size. I'm too lazy to ship them back and they're just laying in my room. I want to get rid of them. They are opened only once and come with the original bill/Adidas-packaging. I got them for 100EUR but willing to sell them for 70 or any other amount the buyer think is appropriate. They're size 9.5. You can check the model and size chart here https://www.adidas.co.uk/pod-s3.1-shoes/AQ1059.html . If you want to buy them, just drop me a PM or comment below. I accept Bitcoins/ETH and will be willing to ship them across Europe. Shipping charges will be handled by the buyer. I can upload photos on request. They're literally opened once and are in the same box as they arrived in.
655  Other / Meta / Re: account lockout on: October 02, 2018, 10:31:06 PM
Admins, dear, I beg you to forgive me, for me it is very important!
There were New Year's holidays, I was not sober, I did not realize what I had done!
Of the 1400 messages, this is the only such thing, I will not do it again, I will not repeat such an error!
Please forgive me!
This is my only account fantom1962. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=899777), I have been pumping it for so long, I tried, and this error happened. I am very sorry to have made this one mistake !!
Forgive me, please, do not deprive of your account, I want to work on the forum, I will be very grateful and grateful to you! ..
What does pumping account even mean? You either post out of your interest or you don't. You should probably ask a Russian admin to handle your case as most of your posts are in Russian. I doubt it's copy-paste ban though.
656  Economy / Reputation / Re: Deleted posts that have been merited on: October 02, 2018, 09:32:06 PM
I was gonna start a similar thread and this seems to be a serious issue. Shit-posters are being ranked up by 1 merit and there is no evidence of the merited posts since they are Off-Limits/Moved to Trashcan. Another example of such an account is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1582336 Typical Bounty Shit-poster with 1 merit. No idea what he got the merit for.
657  Economy / Services / Re: Earn $2/post - Signature campaign for the HODLER Open Source Multi-Asset Wallet on: October 02, 2018, 08:48:22 PM
Please, wait with the next applications, everyone who sent me a message and set up a signature has been accepted. On Saturday, we will make the first settlement of the campaign. Thank you again for participation.
I'm afraid you're putting your reputation at risk by hiring shit posters in your campaign. Nothing as bad as a service being advertised by a shit-posting account. Please either find a good signature campaign manager to carry this out for you professionally or check the post quality/merits instead of aggressive hiring. You definitely want value for your money, don't you? Also, what is the maximum number of posts that could be made by an account?
658  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I built a service to pay for Starbucks with crypto. 16 currencies supported. on: October 02, 2018, 08:30:31 PM
You need to have a Starbucks app with an active US account. After you check out your account is topped up with the USD amount you paid. 3rd party payment provider is used to process payments.
I'm still testing the service right now so it's limited to $5-$10 transactions but so far there were no issues.

www.coffee4crypto.com

Supports BTC, BCH, ETH, ETC, LTC, XRP, DOGE, WAVES and others

Ask questions or post your feedback here
No offence dude, but you wouldn't expect people to do any kind of transactions on a website that looks it's developed by an 8-year-old. Even if the UI has to be minimalistic, it can still be aesthetic given the plethora of UI frameworks out there. Also, what is the 5% conversion fee? That's ridiculous!
659  Other / Meta / Re: [Merit Analysis] How many Merit received users on: October 02, 2018, 08:24:45 PM
This shows that we have only a few of the entire community contributing qualitatively enough. And we should encourage the rest of the community to contribute.
and we should do our fair bit in reducing spam, like users on the mining board who closely monitor and moderate their threads.
Not true. This shows there are many quality posters who don't have enough merits. If you look at the other thread by @suchmoon, it proves the number of merits wasted on newbie accounts which were banned. These merits would have definitely helped a legit newbie rank-up.
660  Other / Meta / Re: [List] of the most weird usernames registered. on: October 02, 2018, 08:21:52 PM
I don't know what's the big deal with such user-names. They're serving the same purpose as the other usual usernames with no meaning. Let members have the freedom to take whatever user-names they like to be addressed with.
