321  Other / Meta / Re: Be polite on: December 09, 2019, 11:47:49 PM
It is true though. Maybe the majority went crazy because of the bad market conditions, but I have seen individuals that cannot control themselves at all. We need to implement some rule to punish such guys.
The problem lies right in this post. You see, now that would be rude of me to call you stupid but how can I control myself if you post something that is actually stupid? The market went crazy so members started abusing each other? Do you see any logical sense in this? Should I write an essay explaining how wrong you are here? If you spent enough time on the forum, read the forum rules you should know there is no rule that punishes users for being rude or using slurs. But then you'd expect someone to be nice to you and coach you on how the forum works.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who needs Satoshi Nakamoto principles? on: December 09, 2019, 11:42:05 PM
Does the modern cryptocurrency community need this principle of Satoshi Nakamoto?
What constitutes as the modern cryptocurrency community? The traders? Whales? Or a small bunch of developers and enthusiasts who actually care about the protocol? To be honest, the vast majority of the bitcoin community doesn't have the mentality to change anything or even follow what's being written by Satoshi. Take CoinBase for example. His solution is perfect? No. He gave you the basic architecture to start with? Yes! It's upto you to develop on top of it.

Maybe it's time to abandon it and admit that ONLY money should always release new money?[/b]
Or you can just stop using bitcoins and create your own coin or use one of those shit-coins out there? Speak for yourself.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: please help me about bitcoin atm! SCAM or No on: December 09, 2019, 11:37:04 PM
actually he is my uncle ! that wants to send ! but he gives this money to his friend to send it!
and his friend insists on sending this 700$ to wallet that have only 1 transaction inside !
what should i do ?
do you think his friend want 700$ for him and he will send 30000$ for me?
Could there be a possibility someone hacked your Uncle's computer/phone and are pretending to be your uncle? There is absolutely no reason to send any amount of bitcoins to receive them. Might break your heart but your Uncle and his friend seem like scammers. Contact them for more information: https://easybitatm.com/
324  Other / Meta / Re: Should you be able to lock your account for a time. on: December 09, 2019, 11:24:04 PM
If that account lock feature is ever implemented, we'd have queries like this all year: "Sir help locked the account and forgot the pin can't activate it back". Why would admins/mods want to take the headache of putting all the extra work when people can't secure their own accounts? You're on a technical forum where one of the most complex technology is discussed and you don't know how to protect one account from the hackers? Pathetic.
325  Economy / Reputation / Re: 0.212 bitcoin Youtube/FanArt contest 🔥 Bitsler.com Birthday! on: December 08, 2019, 11:50:56 PM
Looks like you're butthurt because you didn't win. What are you going on about? Did you participate in the contest? Can you show us your video?

Regardless of whatever the contest rules are, it's really upto the contest owners to determine the winners. BitSler's team isn't one of those shady sites that will participate in the contest with their own accounts for a few BTC's. Maybe they didn't follow the rules, maybe they used the template but at the end of the day, if it pleases the team, it's upto them how they distribute the prizes. A legend once said Life is unfair, don't whine about it.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the most complicated thing about Bitcoin? on: December 03, 2019, 11:40:43 PM
The complexity of the platform is determined by "who" is using it. Give the documentation to any Computer Science Engineer and he'll nail the command line. Give it to someone from a commerce background, they'd take ages to install the Core. Personally, I find developing smart contracts and deploying to a live chain quite complex but that again is not bitcoin but blockchain in general.
327  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Campaign Management Website for Bitcointalk Signature Campaigns (idea) on: December 03, 2019, 11:30:03 PM
I don't think that such platforms are needed when he have some highly trusted campaign managers who are doing their job very well.
Have you seen the altcoin campaign sections? We do have highly trusted campaign managers but not highly trusted campaigns. Also, such a platform is a terrible idea. We did have some very sophisticated automatic post counting and enrollment campaigns but then again they always had a manager accompanying to find spammers.
328  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to accept bitcoin as payment? on: December 03, 2019, 11:25:54 PM
Hello,

Personally, I have already had the opportunity to work with Xsolla, a service that manages this kind of functions.

The great thing is that it is simple enough to integrate on a project.

- Xsolla : https://xsolla.com/

There is surely another one, but I really speak to you of those who I used personally.
That doesn't sound anything like what OP is looking for. The first thing on the landing page says "Video Game Business Engine". You could argue that they have https://xsolla.com/solutions/payments Payment Solutions as well but that again has to do something along the lines of "players" and "games". Op is looking for something like BitPay.
329  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of Scammers I found last 3 days on: December 03, 2019, 11:19:22 PM
How the fuck did you manage to find multiple scammers in a single day and get scammed by one of them on the same day? :O
Clearly you're not very good at finding scammers. Yeah finding them after getting scammed doesn't count much. Be careful there buddy don't deal with anyone on telegram if you don't have a trading history with them.
330  Economy / Gambling / Re: Opinions - Advices - Tips&Tricks - Casinos online on: December 03, 2019, 11:15:17 PM
I have studied many gambling sites. I'm still puzzled, I think you should create a poll, which site has the most beautiful design?
No, a good gambling site is not only about good design. I can show you some average looking gambling sites with more traffic than some of their very good looking competitors. You ignored my previous question and are continuously asking more questions without quoting any replies. It makes me wonder if you're one of those alt accounts made to the thread from the main account.

Don't expect people to give you a constructive outcome if you're here for the spams.
331  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Here are some good crypto freelancers to hire for your projects if needed! on: December 03, 2019, 11:12:18 PM
I would not trust to freelancers. A true professional will not be sitting there. Only networking and warm contacts.
That's probably right. I doubt real programmers find cheap Gigs on Fiverr. It's crowed with noobs from all over the world especially third world countries. I'm not against them or anything but they generally tend to provide terrible quality services. I had hired like 5 of them for a blockchain-related job and none of them could finish it. Hell, one literally copied code from google and convinced me that it's his own code. I would prefer to hire someone of their GitHub profile or this forum.
332  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to accept bitcoin as payment? on: December 03, 2019, 11:07:32 PM
Now the question is if its actually possible to do without having to put an effort in technical knowledge and without monthly fees as easily as it is nowadays with fiat based web services?
It's very much possible but not recommended. Imagine you earned a lot of bitcoins and some scammer simply takes it away from you due to lack of your bitcoin knowledge? This happens very often in the crypto world and having general information about the technical stuff will always help. It's no rocket science, just some basic things to do and not to do should be good enough. There are multiple services that allow you to plug and play bitcoin payment services but they do charge a very small fee. I'm not going to recommend any such services since I honestly don't like them.

You can check my project: www.cuddlingcompany.com
Good Stuff. Would love to see some bitcoin-related designs.
333  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: trouble with an exchanger named Instant Bitex listed on Coinmarket on: December 03, 2019, 10:57:20 PM
Hello forum, we need help to recover our money we invested on Instant Bitex which is seem to scam.....we are many investors on this exchager and trading site....we need now help.....
......Since 25/10, no payments.   All our deposit have desappeared.  And they now ask us to pay 1000$ again before be able to withdraw. When we ask for withdraw, they reject the request not retern the found.  We to many person rip off by this exchanger listed unfortunatly on Coinmarket.... when we chat with the one who says he is the CEO ininbox he tell us to pay 500$ for rectification again...i'd like to know if you meet the same problem......
Thanks for your help.
What can the forum do for you? Flag their profiles and damage their reputation which they don't have in the first place. Since you're a group of wealthy men who invest on sites without doing their due diligence, I suggest you guys get a lawyer or something and take sue the business.
334  Economy / Reputation / Re: Spammers? on: December 02, 2019, 11:58:19 PM
1) Stop creating a throwaway account to report spammers. No one is going to tag your account for a good cause.
2) There is a thread dedicated to reporting spammers from the CryptoTalk campaign  here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5188200.0

3) I haven't really checked out their posts but if you can find some spam posts, you should quote them in your thread to save our time.

maybe I will follow the campaign if the coin is already listed on the exchange or already has value, for now people are no longer interested in the ICO campaign, for airdrops, many may still join because of their simple tasks, Your project should provide a web wallet because people will avoid downlad purses.

I found this user spammer but rest seems just okay to me as I haven't really scanned their previous posts yet.
335  Economy / Gambling / Re: Opinions - Advices - Tips&Tricks - Casinos online on: December 02, 2019, 11:56:09 PM
Hello everyone, I want to ask you the tips and advice with a gambling site. I have documented myself about these sites, there is no existing site that is perfect for players. What do you think ?  how should it be, design, games, contests? I look forward to your advice and opinions on how you should be a perfect site. If I haven't posted where I should, please have someone move the topic to the appropriate section.  Thanks
What is your definition of a perfect site? It seems like you've done enough research on the subject and have concluded that there is no existing gambling site at the moment that satisfied your needs. Maybe start by telling us what features you'd like to see in your dream gambling site? BITDICE [as linked in my signature] is very fancy you should check them out.

You can move the topic by editing it and on the bottom corner - Move to Gambling Discussion I suppose [I could be wrong about the board though]
336  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How do you come up with business ideas in crypto space? on: December 02, 2019, 11:48:22 PM
So you need an idea on how to come up with an idea? For most people, it's either intuitive or from experience. The idea is not everything, you can't be a professional footballer and have an idea to design a car like Tesla. I look at the existing projects, find their shortcomings and figure out ways to fix them. Or use the existing crypto services and think about how the experience can be made simpler. For instance, I want to create a payment gateway that is way better than BitPay and doesn't ask for KYC.

From my experience these are exactly the things that doesn't really work. If you run a business in established market, you'll most likely fail regardless of whether the competition sucks or not, they were first. That's the most important thing. The only reliable business is to be first to provide some service or sell some product. The problem with a new idea evaluation is that you never know the reason why it doesn't already exist. Is it because it's a genius idea and only you can provide it, or is it because there's no demant for it.
You mean if you create a product or a service that doesn't exist already has much higher chances of success? I don't think so. Have you watched the Shark-Tank? They get new ideas and products every week but how many of those actually hit the market? Also, with that logic, people would have stopped creating gambling sites or crypto wallets since there are too many of them and the market is very established? There is UBER but new Taxi apps continue launching. It doesn't work like that. If you see shortcomings, you can provide something better alternative over the existing products, people will slowly adapt to the new service. There was no "demand" for facebook like website, Zukerberg created that demand. Look, how many social networks you see around now!
337  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [ koinde.com] The another alternative of localbitcoins.com is it safe to trade? on: December 02, 2019, 11:42:56 PM
Opened the website for 10 seconds and realized that is nothing safer compared to LocalBitcoins. The KYC policies have added a lot of problems recently for traders even with smaller amounts but it is worth the security they provide. They're a legal company with a proper office and a team. Not that I'm a fan of such corporates but when it comes to your money, you'd always trust someone with a reputation over an anonymously owned site. LBC has the KYC downfall but they'd not run away with your bitcoins.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are crypto casinos/dice houses not caring about multiple accounts. on: December 02, 2019, 11:37:56 PM
As part of my new gambling strategy development, I need to have at least 10 accounts to gamble with.
You can take the risk, use VPN and all other methods to create 10 accounts but if you're caught, you will be locked out of your account. Is it worth the funds you're risking for?

10 accounts may be with 10 different casinos or with only one casino. More preciously if I have 10 accounts with same gambling house then it would be more helpful as the percentage of house edge will be same (otherwise I may need to fine tune my strategy to withstand against different house edges).
No reputed site allows multiple accounts. They will instantly ban your account. You can always outsmart them but formally, you can't. If they suspect you, they will probably do security checks on your account and VPN's wouldn't help.

All your inputs are highly appreciated. I checked few houses' TOS and FAQ but most casinos are not explicitly not mentioning about their stand against multiple accounts and accessing them through VPN.
Most of the reputed casinos will.
339  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How do you come up with business ideas in crypto space? on: December 02, 2019, 11:25:54 PM
I'd like you to take a moment to think about the way in which you explore new opportunities in crypto world. I'm sure there's a lot of concepts one can use to bring a new business to crypto.
Certainly, there are but you tend to choose the one you're most comfortable with depending on your background. I can't think of an idea for you.

Although it may sound like it, I'm not actually looking for a concrete ideas for my own business. Sorry if I made it sound like it. What interests me (and I hope others as well) are general strategies to find one, particularly in crypto. E.g. In what way is it best to look for some emerging trends that might be good to explore?

340  Other / Meta / Re: Cancel reports? on: November 25, 2019, 11:48:19 PM
Does reporting accuracy have any effect on whether moderators look at your reports or not? I like the idea of canceling reports but I can't imagine a few bad reports should have any major consequences.
I can't remember where but IIRC, theymos said something like this - Your reporting accuracy doesn't matter, just keep reporting as many posts as you can. Cancel the report will be a good feature to have but not sure how many members will actually use it. I never go back to track the reported post.
