101  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where best to enjoy this forum... on: April 19, 2024, 11:10:42 PM
Yeah, viewing on a mobile phone can be a struggle. The best suggestion I've encountered to alleviate this was to view on a landscape mode.

In my case, whenever I wanna check the forum on my couch or when away from my PC, I prefer to use my 11 inch tablet. It does the job for me and I'd say experience is pleasant. I tend to use the split screen feature too lol. I was actually thinking if I should size down to 8 inch 🤔
102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin halving is coming, what should we do? on: April 19, 2024, 10:20:17 PM
For the most part, I'm still pretty optimistic about it so im just gonna enjoy the ride  Grin

There could be still be more opportunities to buy slowly which also includes altcoins since what we're hyped about is highly speculated to happen couple of weeks after halving. Just keep in mind your risk appetite in every decision. Good luck to us!
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did I spend my Bitcoin on? on: April 19, 2024, 08:21:06 PM
Oh, so it was a scam?

I might just have blanked it out  Grin

But because we don't know yet who or what bitmax is (owner of address UAqA), i think there is still a possibility that they were the one who was scammed 🤔

For instance, if I try to pay someone Bitcoins, it's not my business whatever they do with it, no?

Ofc, this is just one possibility. both address could also be owned by the same entity.
104  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 What software of online casino slots do you prefer? on: April 19, 2024, 07:02:24 PM
Nolimitcity games are so good, I mean their graphics only and gameplay but maybe not their RTP rates because I haven't won a decent amount from them. I didn't stay longer though but I only spend a couple of rolls just to try my luck after I'm finished playing on my favourite slot game.

For nolimit, I always try their insane volatility line up first as I think I have a much better chance with them compared to their other games. But yeah, other slots did seem like I needed hundreds of spins to have a good chance at free spins/bonus but I managed to trigger it at less than 100 or 50 spins in slots marked as insane volatility e.g. the rave, fire in the hole 2. But at the end of the day, you do need to be lucky  Grin
105  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: April 18, 2024, 11:56:58 PM
It could be that people are lazy to read the multi-page ToS and sometimes asking support will provide a link to the ToS as well.

If customers ask support, they will definitely be answered whether this is a problem or just asking about other info.
Are you sure if it affects the business and becomes a problem? What is the basis of the problem when customers ask support?

One possibility on top off my head: if a customer support ended up giving a wrong answer then something goes wrong with the player's account and took some time to get solved, there's a good chance the player in question could rant in multiple gambling communities 🤔

I honestly think support can be a hit or miss too in most services so I'd cross-check stuff on the fine print as well. I'm not sure if I'm the only one but a lot of platforms have a good number of similar clauses so it has gotten easier for me to check fine prints as I've seen several of them.
106  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Creating educational material for bitcoin. Advice? on: April 18, 2024, 10:37:39 PM
My advice is to look into known predecessors and take inspiration to make it better and/or provide more.

On top off my head:

1. learnmeabitcoin.com
2. bitcoiner.guide
3. bitcoin.org
4. https://www.lopp.net/bitcoin-information.html (more like resources aggregator)

I saw someone suggest translating the resources to local languages and support this idea as we can reach more people with this. Perhaps what I can add is, providing different formats? aside from text, you could also do videos and audios 🤔
107  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: April 18, 2024, 08:42:21 PM
Why will cloudflare will ban you on accessing the casino using VPN. I’ve been using VPN to access the casino in the past for long time without any problem. This is my first time to know that cloudflare can ban you when VPN was use. Can you give me some reference for this?

Although it's not on gambling websites, there were a few instances where I've been blocked by cloudflare but this was just because of the IP from my VPN provider and choosing another server solved it.

IDK if cloudflare goes beyond blocking IP addresses and how often does that happen but I'd say, if the block is not coming from casino's end, it's likely that there will be ways to access the platform.
108  Economy / Exchanges / Re: In what cases does Binance asks for source of funds ? on: April 18, 2024, 08:22:01 PM
There is no from a to z guidelines available in public so you'd have to take your chances.

But the general consensus is, if the coins are coming from a mixing/tumbling service and the exchange detects this, your account will be flagged.

Hefty deposits/volume I think has a higher chance of getting flagged too. I believe this has to do with risk gauging. It's the same idea as how by default/initially, we would need to give out more personal information to unlock higher limits. One could say, this could be coupled with other things as well since it's not always a single reason.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you stopped using bitcoin for small transactions completely ? on: April 18, 2024, 07:10:07 PM
TBH, if I have some low fee altcoins at my disposal on my hot wallet, I always use it for small purchases like my VPN.

Otherwise, bitcoin could still do provided that the mempool is not congested AF. Bitcoin miner fees are dynamic so it's not always high. Once price correction starts, perhaps we could see the single digit sat/vb or so again.
110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tracking inside of CEXs on: April 17, 2024, 11:57:25 PM
Maybe OP is into data analysis and stuff -- what a productive hobby, if so Cheesy

But as mentioned, trades are off-chain. But I think you can still have fun with on-chain data, maybe you can check out feature packed tools like breadcrumbs.app however not a lot of features are free.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The effect Nigeria ban on Binance P2P traders on: April 17, 2024, 10:42:11 PM
TBH, it's strange that they are blaming binance for their falling currency lol. From the sidelines, it looks like they're just looking a scapegoat 🤔

I know binance removed naira but what about other markets such as spot, etc.? do they still work fine for the locals? because technically, there are ways to circumvent the ban if it's not coming from binance's end.

Asking because there will always be people who will circumvent this. I'd say it's not worth the risk unless you're just getting your money out. Last I heard, Nigeria was demanding user information of their locals particularly the top volume traders in binance. Plus their approach has been nothing but aggressive so far so idk what happens next. Better err on the side of caution.
112  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is Bitgo a scam? I think it is on: April 17, 2024, 09:34:05 PM
What's stopping them from deducting the fees from your account balance?

On one hand, I think the 10K is more likely in USD otherwise OP wouldn't be complaining that only 100 bucks was deposited. So yeah, the classic deposit first before you can withdraw dupe scheme.
113  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quinto.Games Windfall Lottery 🂡🂮🂭🂫🂪 | KICK-OFF AND PRE-SALE TICKETS NOW on: April 17, 2024, 09:02:43 PM
As new management, we are not sure what you refer to about a 500K unsecured loan, no such thing existed in the books.

I suggest taking a look at your trust history, see: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=895636

Honestly, your pre-sale promo is a pretty sweet deal but I'm not confident you'll be paying out the provided dues considering the past rep. On one hand, one could say the sweet deal may be the perfect bait for gullible folks as well.

Perhaps, if you managed to clear the past rep and/or a reputable campaign backs your platfrom, I'll take a look again. Another idea I can think of is locking a portion of your reserved funds in a reputable escrow, this way we're sure the pre-sale dues will be paid.
114  Economy / Gambling / Re: AVIATRIX | NEXT GENERATION OF CRASH-GAMES | EARLY BIRD BONUS on: April 16, 2024, 11:16:32 PM
Well, when it comes to the 10 euros bonus amount it's all demo... I created a plane and reached over 10k experience points, but it looks like we should do it every day, a new plane and those who make the highest wagering with demo money can win some cash prizes. At least that's what it looks like, but after yesterday's experience, I doubt it really happens, I should play all day actively to be in the top 100... so I don't plan to test it.

I guess it would be much simpler and easier for us players if OP is active here, at least he would clear some doubts we have and we would play it without fear of being disappointed after playing.

Oh I don't think I've ever explored the planes that far but yeah, I'd be making the same decision as well considering the uncertainties. I honestly thought OP would be active here esp after sig campaign interest, but it's been awhile since their last reply...

They should also improve the demo gameplay and add some guides or some sort so folks can know the exact situation. I'm pretty sure non-bitcointalk members (people in genral) are also confused.
115  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where do i find sister sites to the following... (22bet, spinbetter, 1win) on: April 16, 2024, 09:45:19 PM
Thanks for input guys - I should have been clerarer however, the sites aboved is sites i have had accounts on, withdrawn and moved on to the next (due to account being limited) - so from my POV - i have not had any issues with those. The withdrawal process have been taken some time but as mentioned, my money has always came.

Sure, but I suggest being aware when most communities' general consensus of a particular platform is to stay away as this means you're very likely to get duped.

The thing Im looking for is sites that offers the same software provider, BETB2B, since these sites offering the same markets/games/odds

Looks like there are more choices from here, see: https://casinolandia.com/platforms/betb2b/. I would also suggest checking out your chosen site's review on btcgosu.
116  Economy / Gambling / Re: unlimitedmoneyglitch.com | Crypto Market and Casino All-In-One on: April 14, 2024, 11:31:51 PM
What is the reason behind the name though? because it's honestly enough to shoo me away lol.

Maybe op thinks it could be a marketing boost especially with the gullible folks but it's only sending me alarm bells as it is very in line with stuff I've seen with scammers.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Geopolitical Tension and its effects on Gambling on: April 14, 2024, 10:22:38 PM
I'd say it depends on how bad the effects are on the economy as there are levels for this plus some folks may cope a bit better than others.

However, I could still see things going both ways:
1. Some folks halting gambling because money has been tight.
2. Folks gambling more because they have been more desperate than ever -- don't do this lads.

One thing I always appreciate about bitcoin is no one can just halt the payments from coming unlike centralized systems like VISA/mastercard.
118  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Old blockchain.info wallet from 2014 and before -16,17,19 words precovery phrase on: April 14, 2024, 09:25:17 PM
I can see the public address for the wallet, and all the funds are still there.

I wonder if you remember if your funds sits on your legacy wallet address or HD wallet address? or otherwise, check the transaction/s' timestamps on block explorers.

Because if your funds sits on a legacy wallet address then the 12 word mnemonic seed is useless as it only covers addresses from blockchain.com'd HD wallet. From what I remember from the people whose accounts transitioned from legacy wallet to HD wallet, the legacy address/es ended up on "imported addresses" tab.
119  Economy / Gambling / Re: AVIATRIX | NEXT GENERATION OF CRASH-GAMES | EARLY BIRD BONUS on: April 14, 2024, 07:32:03 PM
I won 19 euros and the wager requirements are x50 to unlock it... but it's a bit strange, my plane level is going up, but it looks like I am playing with demo money. A bit confusing, but I will play around a bit more and see where it takes me.

Lol. I was confused as well with the free bets.

I initially thought they'd let me deposit money after the free bets were all used up however there was nothing and all I could wager was the demo money. So yeahhh, it's all demo.
