101  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earnbitcoin.net not paying me withdrawal it has been over 130 days help on: August 11, 2024, 10:32:54 PM
Yeah, no way this website is honest lol.

With these stats, we all should've heard about them and they would have been all over crypto communities yet they remain obscure.

EarnBitcoin.net is the largest educational Bitcoin Faucet online! With 500,000+ happy users, paying out over $1 million in Bitcoin since 2011.

Addresses from "recent payment sent" tab never got such payment upon looking at the blockchain records lol. But I'm not saying having a matching record on the blockchain would make one legitimate either as it's easy to fetch real time transactions and make it appear they were from your end. In this case though, the lies were pretty obvious lol.

Guys, can someone recommend me slots game or provider that has the best graphics? I love stunning visuals in slots.

Audio-visual wise, I like a lot of stuff from nolimit city. My favorite from them is the still fire in hole 2 because the bgm pumps me up the most. They have some gore/ish themed slots so trigger warning for that. I forgot what the name was but I think there was one slot with kink theme too lmao.

They have a nice website as well. You can try to browse their library there if you want as quick information is also available iirc. They also launch free to play slots tournament from time to time  Grin
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Traditional gambling style without a casino on: August 11, 2024, 08:36:32 PM
Yeah, man. My family and friends love card games too. We have even staked money when playing old maid lol -- don't ask at what age did we start doing this lmao. I remember my late dad would bet with his friends whenever they watch some sports as well.

Ultimately, there is a social aspect that makes it extra fun. Fortunately, it did not become dangerous for us but maybe because we only do it with people close to us at the comfort of our homes. Worse that could happen is someone killing the vibe e.g. being sulky or salty af.

It’s my first time to see Quickspin provider but I definitely enjoy my game experience even with just small amount of game time experience. Hoping to see more promotions related to this provider.

BTW, were you lucky enough to get a nice multiplier from this provider? I just learned metawin was running a multiplier contest for this provider for an entire week which is ending in several hours today. The top 100 will be rewarded.

Would you also say you'd come back and play slots from this provider? because it's kinda funny how even the players who won don't seem to like it upon reading chats from discord lols.

106  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info/com question (MAIN) on: August 10, 2024, 11:43:58 PM
As I understand it, the owner of this service has not changed in all these years.  Maybe that's why the support service is extremely disgusting.

On the other hand, many support agents may have been replaced considering the years passed esp if they're outsourcing folks from an agency. You gotta wonder how many of them now actually know about legacy accounts. 🤔

Honestly, even on 2018 or so, support for legacy accounts was already crap. It appears, blockchain.com made some tools and called it a day. Wouldn't be surprised if more support agents are completely clueless about it these days.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's there a possibility of working in a physical casino and not gamble on: August 10, 2024, 11:00:27 PM
I have a cousin who works in the industry. I think she's in the marketing side of things.

One time, I saw her gambling on her phone but she told me she only spends cents for the whole day they feel the ick to gamble. I suppose it helps that she mostly does local card games so her bets last longer as oppose to myself who is into instant games like slots where I could lose my deposit much quicker lol

Honestly, it may be hard to not gamble if you're exposed in the industry but it's not necessarily a bad thing as long as you can control yourself and know your limits.
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ATOMIC WALLET SCAM on: August 10, 2024, 10:25:59 PM
etherscan didn't add any warning or sign that the token could be a scam or change the name but atomic wallet developers should not be lazy and try to put a sign for these worthless tokens. It seems they chose the name Bitcoin (BTC) so that some investors would think it is Bitcoin.

I've tried to report/flag the token in etherscan.io. Anyone who has free time could do so as well. It's pretty easy with a simple form and no email/account needed to submit one.

I'll try to write to atomic wallet shortly. I would also encourage OP esp their friend who I'm guessing is the direct victim to report this to atomic wallet, maybe they'll do something about it.

BTW, op. I think this could fit better in Scam Accusations. Regular chimers there could help in reporting as well.
109  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can you recommend a web wallet other than blockchain.info? No KYC on: August 09, 2024, 11:50:53 PM
There is a new option now:
Proton wallet.

Oh wow, from a reputable company.

But it appears it's not fully open to public yet so they just enter me to waitlist when I logged in. We could skip this in two ways apparently.
Quote
Invites from active users of Proton Wallet will allow you to skip this waiting list.

You can also support us and get immediate access by upgrading to Proton Visionary, our most premium plan with paid features in all Proton products.

By active users, IDK if they meant active users on their platform regardless of account tier or just active in some subscriptions like what they tell here:
Proton Visionary and Lifetime users have limited invites to share with anybody they want.

Invited users will also receive a smaller number of invites, as the ability to invite some friends makes Proton Wallet more useful.

I haven't extensively checked the wallet, but I am seeing a sign-up window to create a proton account. With all this, do they still offer an option for one to back up their and later import wallet seeds, making it a self-custodial web wallet?

Apparently, yes!
Each wallet has a recovery seed phrase that’s only known to you (Proton never sees it). Even if Proton were to entirely disappear someday, you would still have access to the Bitcoin in your Proton wallet with your recovery phrase.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Reflection on Security in Online Casinos on: August 09, 2024, 10:12:33 PM
I have an email account specifically for gambling though I may have connected it to a couple of non gambling stuff as well lol but I rarely receive scam emails compared to my general crytpo email accounts. Then again, the latter are much older and have more services connected which pretty sure played a part.

In hindsight, emails are fragile and services typically share our emails with 3rd parties so there are a lot of sides where leaks could come from hence it could be difficult to point fingers.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Common misconceptions about Bitcoin. on: August 09, 2024, 09:12:40 PM
I had an argument with a friend just yesterday, who seemingly believes that Bitcoin is being controlled by a single entity and Bitcoin is not secure.
He said a lot to back his claims which although I can't remember his pin points though.

I guess it became needlessly convoluted? if so, you may wanna look back to see if they're into conspiracy theories as well lol.

I've seen typical misconceptions from average folks but those who like conspiracy theories usually have too much to say and the scenarios are more closer to a mystery thriller novel lol. I could try to debunk misconceptions from average peeps but for our conspiracy theory loving folks, nahhh, I'm better off saving my energy lol.
112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ATOMIC WALLET SCAM on: August 09, 2024, 07:56:01 PM
I thought you were talking about wrapped btc but it isn't.

Quick look at its stats in etherscan and it look shoddy with unknown reputation, see: https://etherscan.io/token/0x8a5de45f1a5d7c96ebd408f8c3465f9f9b3524f6

I've never touched atomic wallet but I know many ETH chain supporting wallets allows folks to manually add a token not listed out of the box. Looking at etherscan, this token in question is named "Bitcoin (BTC)" so if someone adds it manually, the wallet naturally would pick up the exact name.

This could just be a scam token imo which atomic wallet may not have a hand on unless someone could explain better.
113  Other / Meta / Re: While the bitcointalk.org administration does not verify such claims on: August 09, 2024, 06:45:53 PM
Thank you all.

So, why keeping an expression like "While the bitcointalk.org administration does not verify such claims," ?

I suppose it's for the sake of laying it all out? it's the truth. Probably to in line it with the forum's neutral stance as well because as explained above, bitcointalk for the most part does not moderate scams. Our reputation system is a collective effort hence relies on the community.

The whole warning notice speaks/imply these.
114  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: August 08, 2024, 04:18:39 PM
Just watched the replay of the win, high likely the win came from a bonus buy (the super free spins) which cost 500x from the base bet because looking at the 10 FS, there is no multiplier under 25x.
As the base bet is $40, means that the super free spins cost $20k and as we all know that the player may cost big amount before he hit that nice win but hopefully the win gave him nice profit.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I suspect hitting $250k prior gave him some push to further up the stakes.

He has mentioned in discord he's about to upgrade his house so I believe he has bagged a nice profit -- assuming he's telling the truth. Good for him  Cheesy

Long time no login to my metawin account, it seems that missed something here related to the $MWIN.
It was under the referrals page before but now it is no longer existed, did metawin remove this information or is it moved to somewhere else?

Does this mean you don't have any raf points in your homepage as well? honestly, nothing much has been revealed for $mwin afaik..
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indonesia gov blocked poular search engine over gambling results. on: August 07, 2024, 11:58:36 PM
So, it's possible that they'd do something to bypass that and still able to continue their gambling activities.

Yeah, many people are doing it. I honestly didn't know their government has such stance on gambling until someone mentioned it because I've been seeing many indonesian in crypto gambling community lol.

Another reason why this move from indo government is poop. Imagine blocking a pretty useful website just so you can hamper down gamblers who will easily just gamble anyhow. But I guess, this probably has to do more for their report submission or smth.
116  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: August 07, 2024, 10:30:49 PM
I received the notification but forgot to participate due to my work. I thought I already participated before I leave at home this morning yet I don’t received the reward when I check just now after your post.

Ohhh you must be talking about the repost tweet, no? yeah, I also thought that was it as well but apparently not or they changed it? but now that I think about it, all the other fcfs rains from social media I've witnessed were facilitated through a form.

1 lucky bonus buy can give you a massive profit. How’s your bonus?

Nearly lost everything but just got everything back cause I trigged spins in 777 money stacks lol. I may have to continue another time.
117  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: For a month bookmaker.eu does not withdraw my funds on: August 07, 2024, 09:19:56 PM
Sadly, their bitcointalk account is inactive so it'd be difficult to get a response from them here, see: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1499098

IDK but maybe you can try posting in casino.guru as well, see: https://casinoguru-en.com/bookmaker-casino-review
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Essential Browser Extensions for Safe Crypto Trading on: August 07, 2024, 05:18:48 PM
How reputable are these extensions though? because some of them can be malicious and installing randoms or too many can quickly backfire.

As for staying safe, I think the good old cross checking facts + compartmentalizing to reduce risk e.g. burner wallets/VM/separate devices do a good job. I've been doing such when dabbling to crypto esp altcoins and all went well. In addition, I don't think any of those extensions provide 100% security filter so you'd still have to do your own part of assessing situations.
119  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: August 07, 2024, 02:52:57 PM
Thank you for the generous rain metawin/skel! I got mine:

and about $32K was distributed

Hopefully, other members were able to get one too. The rain form lasted for an hour or so only but it was worth it lol. Gotta love how metawin celebrates their users big win by making it rain. Cheers.

If you missed this one, I recommend joining their discord or hitting that notification bell on your twt app. 🫡
120  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: August 06, 2024, 11:58:11 PM
Oh what a lucky guy, he really got to party.
My eyes were really drawn to the bet per spin, it was $40 dude. Whoever he is, then I'm sure he's a gambling whale because it's highly unlikely for someone with a small budget to put $40 per spin on slots.

A high stake roller indeed hahah

I personally can't imagine doing 160 bucks spin myself, much less $2k lol. Though yeah, it's a high risk, high reward thing and fortunately, he was really lucky. I see he has hit another $500k from metawin's post lol what a guy.
