1001  Economy / Gambling / Re: Jacksclub.io - Next Evolution in Online Gambling on: November 11, 2023, 01:46:02 PM
Your other locked thread has a better announcement than this one, why create a new one to replace a new one are you relaunching the casino or do you want a fresh start, I thought it was a newly launched casino until I saw your other thread.
I'm sure you know how things work here so better to create a more well-designed announcement or post images on the best feature of your casino since you already have a Copper account.
I don't remember you launching a campaign here maybe this is the right time, I checked your feedback and there's a tag that the site is managed by Rollbit's old team, will this association harm or benefit the platform?
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting online courses? on: November 11, 2023, 01:25:45 PM
Checking online, some sites sell sports betting courses and these sites are

https://coursesity.com/blog/best-sports-betting-courses/

https://www.udemy.com/topic/sports-betting/

But I doubt if there are proven formulas to continuously win in sports betting, all these courses will teach you methods, guides, and what to look for and to properly analyze, but the implementation and how you go in depth in sports betting is what will give you winning, its your analysis and how consistent and persistent you are in familiarizing yourself on sports that you are betting.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A tip for staying resposible while gambling. on: November 11, 2023, 10:36:44 AM
While gambling some people gamble with small amounts which is not very important for them, but for those who are new to gambling and not able to control themselves or play with something reasonable amount.
So I have a tip for them you can stick a real paper money note in front of your monitor which will remind you that money is hard to earn and play responsibly or don't play with big amounts.
the note will remind every time that how you earned that money, and if you are controlled and this tip is not very important for you them you can ignore it, but i found this helpful.

What an idea, it's like hypnotizing yourself that you cannot go overboard on what you can bet, it you tell yourself that money is hard to earn it's like saying that don't gamble at all, just allocate a portion of your income then you are good to go, you don't have to remind yourself that money is not hard to earn, you deserve to have fun and when you mean having fun you don't tell yourself that its hard to earn money.

You are playing and having fun so you can forget the hardship of making money and this is your reward for all your hard work, so telling yourself that it's hard to earn money you will miss the fun and enjoyment of playing.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sad reality: some countries gamble more than they can afford on: November 11, 2023, 04:28:43 AM

What do you think about this issue where people gamble too much in countries where the vast majority of the population isn't well off? Should governments step in and restrict casinos more perhaps?

Based on the article you provided this is the amount the government of Greece received, it is for players only not included in these taxes are industries that revolve around these casinos online and offline, and it could grow in the coming years if the trend does not change.
Quote
Last year, according to EEET data, the State received 743.1 million from the taxation of players.
The government cannot just ignore the figure that helps them sustain their treasury.

The government can only educate its people on the many negative effects of too much gambling and like the casinos they promote casinos whether online or offline as an entertainment portal, it's up to the gambler how he treats gambling, there are who treats gambling the right way and some players who go the extra mile and treat gambling as their ticket to financial freedom.
As long as the people are not stealing and many are getting sick because of gambling government will not cut these casinos which sustain their coffers.
1005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: November 10, 2023, 04:56:11 PM

if there is one thing that Jake helped in combat sports is that Dana still signed Tony Ferguson in a UFC contract regardless of his age because Dana doesn't want him to fight Jake.

That's likely going to happen, of course, Tony Ferguson if offered a good prize will likely take Jake's Paul offer, and it will be a scourged on Dana White because Jake Paul wants to accumulate UFC fighters to knock out and that's something Dana White avoid, but he can't stop that there will be former UFC champion who will take Paul's offer because prize money is bigger than what UFC is offering.

Dana has become a victim of his own game by paying his fighters less than what they should be taking they opted to fight fighters like Paul even if they lack the training and experience of a boxer and so far Jake Paul has zero losses against these UFC former champions.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex was hacked (Security Breach Discussion) on: November 10, 2023, 03:56:15 PM
Well, guys, I guess a lot of you already know this. Poloniex, aka Justin Sun's own Exchange, suffered a hack of 60M+ USD, and they are offering a 5% Bounty (if there are any white hat hackers here or do you know an interested one, here is the official announcement https://x.com/Poloniex/status/1722956238160536049?s=20).
On the other hand, TRX and USDD do not seem to suffer any backlash from this news.

Topic Security Breach and Protection Layers. Do you think that Exchanges and DeFI need more development and investments here or is this just something we have to lay down our heads and deal with?

Not the best time to happen but at least Poloniex assured its users that they will reimburse users that are affected, actually the 5% whitehat bug bounty is specifically for the hackers just to return the funds they are not looking for white hat hackers, if hackers is good in making that fund untraceable I don't think he will take a bite on that 5% but if he wants to keep it safe he might send back the funds and keep the 5% bug bounty.

Offering bug bounty exchanges just encourages hacking but what if hackers offer a deal of 15% or even higher will Poloniex take the deal, we will see in the coming days if hackers agree to take the 5% bounty and return the fund or challenge the authority to chase them and prosecute them.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What conditions might cause you to stop gambling? on: November 10, 2023, 02:55:59 PM
Health, if I have a disease that can be caused or triggered while gamble, sadly I will stop to gamble since I care with my body.

What am thinking is the disease like heart attack where you should to avoid anything that increase your heart beat, get surprised or something like that. Imagine if I gamble and hit the jackpot, pretty sure I will be surprised at that time.

But many gamblers continue to play even if they have heart problems and land-based casinos are fully aware of this in fact that is there are defibrillators in many land-based casinos in case one of the winners suffers a heart attack, health concerns especially heart problems should be the main reason to stop gambling, gambling is a very excited form of entertainment it's being advised by doctors to their patients with heart ailment to shorten the time they gamble or be in a casino with a medical facility and if you're gambling online you should have someone beside you in case you suffer a mild attack.
Heart concern should be the number one reason to stop gambling, what is the worth of winning a big amount of money if you cannot enjoy it?
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: November 10, 2023, 01:35:55 PM
Avoid being emotional. I guess that's the number one thing. If you are emotional, you will be carried away by joy, greed, despair, etc. If you are winning and you're very emotional, you could end up losing everything. You think you're lucky and would continue to play even after winning big already. Or if you lost, you could be angry and you would chase your loss and try to recover it. This emotion is equally damaging. You would go home with a bigger loss.

You cannot stop being emotional when you win 10 times your bankroll or you hit a huge jackpot when the underdog you bet comes out the winner, its ok to be emotional its part of our gambling experience we're paying to have fun, and be entertained and that's part of our emotion.

There are two kinds of emotions, losing your ability to think right and satisfying your desire to have fun, if you're a responsible gambler and you have been into a lot and are an experienced gambler, you will act the latter and that's satisfying your desire to have fun.
We are just human beings and being emotional is part of everything we do especially when we are aroused or stimulated, we just have to make that emotion positive.
1009  Other / Meta / Re: I don't have good account security. on: November 10, 2023, 12:24:04 PM
I am new to this forum and have not learned anything yet. I don't see the account security in this forum, I opened the account and got no email notification, I logged in again and still no email notification. I think security should have been given while making this account.

No one is complaining except you, all you have to do is to create a very strong password and kept it to yourself, be sure that your PC has a good anti virus, you should not rely on email verification only for securing your accounts.

What makes Bitcointalk is you can stake your Bitcoin address here so in case you lose your account, you can easily recover it, and if your account is compromised the community will see to it that the one who stole your account cannot use your account, while you are in the process of recovering your account.
I also did not get an account verification when I first sign up, and already active here for years and I did not made a complaint, you have to educated yourself on how to protect your account and do not rely it on any platforms.
1010  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: About 3Aex Platform on: November 10, 2023, 10:38:00 AM
"I received an introduction to this site from a friend I met in a chat.
The worst place to take advice when it comes to where to purchase coins is from someone you just met on chat or social medias especially on telegram, not unless they are recommending a top exchange to buy top coins like Bitcoin or Ethereum
Quote
Unable to imagine it was a scam, I naturally visited the site he sent. Trusting my friend's seemingly genuine instructions,
The rule of the thump always is to protect yourself and your funds and you fail to do that, if you're going to purchase a huge amount you should do an investigation and dig deep it seems $40k for you, is not worth doing an investigation first before sending money.

Quote
I purchased $40,000 worth of ETH here and transferred it to 3Aex through NDAX. However, when I tried to withdraw funds now, the online site only shows 'under review,' and the customer service is unresponsive. Additionally, my friend insists that I need to pay a fee to withdraw the funds.
There's a money scam report that works like this you need to send money so you can withdraw the funds, if this is the first time you encounter this then you have been scammed and this is a lesson learned for you.

Quote
not sure what to do. Upon reflection, I realize I only know his name and his photo what he shown. And what country he was from ; I don't have any other information. If possible, I'd appreciate advice on what to do in this situation." Also, If, like me, you were introduced to 3Aex, be sure to check it out first. Otherwise, you will find yourself in a difficult situation like me.
About 3Aex Platform
This is what happens if you do not do an investigation all the signs are there that it's a scam scheme if you're only aware of the many reports here and you know how to do an investigation, now you know that you need to be very careful when meeting someone online, this is a hard and sorry lesson.
1011  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptomarketing services are they always scams? on: November 10, 2023, 08:58:22 AM
SosSpagetti, why it takes you 19 days to address this, if this is how you do your business then so be it, if you're getting clients and getting results then it's up to you, I just realized that when it comes to marketing you have to offer something different and if you think using shilling based on your interpretation and implementation is something that your clients want, as long as these projects are good and legit then have it your way.
It all goes down to the projects that your platform picked to promote, hope you are responsible enough to pick the right project to promote.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What impact does the BTC price have on your gambling habits? on: November 09, 2023, 03:01:09 PM
I voted nothing it's still be the same if I had $50 for my bankroll the price of Bitcoin wouldn't have an impact I would just use the $50 to wage, I think the amount that I use to play will not have an impact in my portfolio as long as I have a job to support my accumulation, although there were times that I play more when Bitcoin is going down and less when it's going down it has something to do with my job or something very important to attend to.
The price has no impact whether it goes up or down it's the circumstances in my life that will make me play less or more.
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rodriguez Vs Edwards IBF and IBO WORLD FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP DEC 16 2023 on: November 09, 2023, 01:49:02 PM
Rodriguez is very good at finding angles, and being a southpaw makes it hard for every fighter that he fought, I saw his highlights, it is hard to face someone who can shift like that, Pacquiao made it part of his arsenal but Rodriguez perfected it, even if Edwards has slick moves, Rodriguez punches will find its mark based on how he shift and prepare his left hand to land.

I love it when both undefeated fighters go for the title, they are fully prepared to get the title and at the same time take the undefeated record of their opponent, I'm sure this is going to be an entertaining fight, this is a not to be missed fight.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge coin everly hit $1? on: November 09, 2023, 12:33:15 PM

Dogecoin is one of a long time COIN that has been in existence for over 10years now. since December 2013 dogecoin hit 0.0000869 on may 6 2015 and today is $0.076 now am wondering if it could reach $1price after 10years compeard to Bitcoin.

Maybe yes or maybe no, it gets to the current level because of one man Elon Musk, if Elon continues to hype and continue to support Dogecoin and integrate it on many of his projects and platforms it will surely hit $1, but if Elon Musk decided to drop Dogecoin then it will go back to where it was before, even if they have a strong community support its Elon Musk continuous support of the project is what keeps it in the top.

Even if the transaction fee is low and the transaction speed is attractive for traders it is still Elon who decides on Dogecoin futures, so if you want to know if Dogecoin will reach $1 check and follow Musk's decision on Dogecoin and you will have a hint on the direction it will go.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Believe That Reading People's Bad Experience Will Help You on: November 09, 2023, 08:06:58 AM
The final votes in my poll
Do You Believe That Reading People's Bad Experience Will Help You
Yes   - 27 (79.4%)
No   - 7 (20.6%)
So based on the community's opinion, it's okay to share our bad experiences in gambling for others to learn from it, we have to be honest with ourselves if we want to improve our gambling habit and we should be ready to take feedback because once we lose ourselves in gambling we don't want to listen to other people's opinion anymore and read other people's experience so while we are not yet deep on it, check other people's experience because what happened to them could happen to you if you don't read and ignore those warnings.
Locking this thread and thanking all those who participated in the discussion and voting.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: November 09, 2023, 05:55:22 AM
I cannot consider Andre a top-level fighter even if he has more wins and more knockouts than Jake Paul all his opponents are level C fighters and two of them just debuted and one of the fighters he KO   Jeremie Parks has this record 6 25 3, imagine this guy loss 25 times I don't think this Andre can be considered a Polish fighter than Jake Paul, Paul wants to take his boxing seriously but he's fighting level who he can easily beat.
If he wants the boxing community to take him seriously why not fight fighters who are in the top 15 so he can rank up if he beat these kinds of fighters.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: November 08, 2023, 03:47:05 PM
Let us discuss in this thread the things one should completely avoid while gambling. Here are some suggestions according to me :

1) Do not gamble in work area : It is not ethical to do so. Your employer is paying you to work for him for certain hours. If you waste these hours for gambling, it is a bad habit.

2) Do not take loan to gamble: Some young guys are so irresponsible that they take loans to gamble. It is a very bad move and can even produce life threatening conditions in future when loan recover agents knock your door.

Number one, gambling in your work is very risky, some companies have in their contract that you should not steal the company's time, and doing this is like stealing the company's time so there's a probability of getting fired and you will have bad records and will have a hard time finding new employers, so even if you're into gambling, don't do it on work protect your livelihood and your career.

Number two is also very bad and it's one of the rules in responsible gambling not to take a loan to gamble, someone taking a long to gamble is already considered a chronic gambler.

These are considered the top on what not to do when gambling, I also rate these two on top.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: at which point of a boxing match you consider cashingout? on: November 08, 2023, 02:36:00 PM
I will cash out immediately there are a lot of cases where the underdog scored a knockdown but failed to deliver a performance that warrants a decision, it is already a good reward but if you're a risk taker and you trust that the underdog can deliver until the end then you can go for it, always the underdog's chance is delivering a lucky punch, but if it extended until the last rounds the favorite can deliver a strategy where he can score a lot to take a decision.

Like in the case of Fury and Ngannou, Fury knows that he can win the remaining rounds all he has to do is rely on his boxing skills and that is to hit, run, hug, and counter something Ngannou failed to counter because it's his first boxing match.

those who picked Ngannou must have seen how much they have won if they cashed out after that 3rd round since the odds were 8.20. even in the later rounds, people are still rooting for Ngannou to win because there was no response to that knockdown.
I knew that Fury would win but all the bettors were hoping that the judges would side with Ngannou because of the knockdown and because he is the more aggressive of the two, the bettors are still hoping until the announcement, so cashing out is still on bettors level of risk

Quote
they could never figure out which round they will ever cash out in that fight until it's too late. maybe because bettors are also hopeful that Ngannou will win.
And why not, The majority believes that Ngannou should have won the politics in boxing and will not let that happen because there will be a major shake-up in the boxing industry if this happens, so the boxing organization needs to protect himself Fury knows that all he needs to do is connect then hug and avoid getting hit

Quote
if such kind of fight once again occurred in a different weight class while this time i'm rooting for underdog Prograis, I will lose. i might just decide to cash out even at a loss. it could just be me but if a fighter like Devin Haney is the bookmaker's fave, the judges might also pronounce him in a UD.
It could possibly happen, we all know Prograis has power on both hands so there's the possibility that he can score a knockdown, Haney knows how to get a win even if he suffers a knock down, but lets see if the same scenario happens.

I just want to help my friend and his mom, if you guys would help me out by reading better between txs and obtaining some info, i thank you a lot in advance , God bless . Cry

Since the address of the scammer and the transaction ID is now posted here, the scammer is now aware that you are now following his action, because this discussion shows up when you Google the address, its better if you cloak the address and the transaction ID so it will not get indexed by the search engine, the scammer will now plan to move the funds without being traced.

I hope you can eventually trace the address and the scammer do not have the expertise to anonymize the transaction you mentioned that he used Binance that will be your lead expect a lot of movement from this funds, we all know scammers they will find a way to cash it out or to get it somewhere untraceable.
1020  Economy / Economics / Re: What does being rich mean in your perspective? on: November 08, 2023, 12:09:04 PM
It's one of question which differs from person to person. How do you define richness?

For me, being rich is having money, and being wealthy is having time, so between the two I prefer to be wealthy, some rich people have no time for healthy relationships, and do not have time to be themselves and find peace, you can have all the money in the world but if you do not have time to your family and your time is invested to make more money you lack the quality of life and that's money cannot buy.

Rich is associated with having so much money and afford to buy anything and live a lavish lifestyle, I have seen lonely people rich people regret that they've spent all their time making a lot of money and straining their relationships with other people, so for me rich is not only having money but having a good relationship to your family to your fellowmen and your creator and having a contented life.
