This proves nothing if you cannot sign a message from the address holding such ammout of funds.

I think by looking at your current leading status none of an investor or lender would be interested in it from just whats written in the OP nor someone will contact you.
1022  Economy / Reputation / Re: Igor Karavaev - ICOBench Expert - is a Scammer on: March 23, 2019, 11:26:45 AM
ICObench has become a very highly manipulated crypto review site. Any ICO with no vision, no real team, no potential also some scams could take a place on the site with high ratings in front of there names. You could find many examples of already decalred scam projects on Bitcointalk being listed on the ICObench website with good investors ratings. ICObench is totally a place were any project could get a decent rating if they could invest funds in websites marketing packages.

They just attract newbie crypto users and investors, people who are in crypto and ICOs from decent time now should already know they are faked and none of their ratings are legitimate as per the investment perspective.

This is an interesting articles about how do they manipulate the Ratings:

1. https://medium.com/alethena/this-is-how-easy-it-is-to-buy-ico-ratings-an-investigation-13d07e987394
2.https://cryptocurrencyhub.io/ico-bench-is-asking-payment-for-expert-status-817daecc14e0

One Bitcointalk ICObench is already proved as a misleading website and the account operating under the website is red-tagged.

1023  Other / Meta / Re: [SUGGESTION] Campaigns Should Be Self Moderated - Edited on: March 23, 2019, 03:41:40 AM
Self-Moderated, even though some users doesn't like SMTs (Self-Moderated Threads --- To avoid and DELETE unnecessary applications of lazy non-reading thread users )

It may be a hassle thing to do, but I think it is way more effective rather than ignoring the applications or anything else Smiley

I don't think a Self Moderated thread would affect here. Yes, it would help in deleting unwanted applications by campaign manager, but an application to the campings remains as an record for the user activity for future reference even though the user is accepted or not. Also, everyone is eligible as per the criteria of the bounty to apply for the camping if they meet the requirements.

There are some ill-effects of using a self Moderated thread for campaign. There is a risk of manager deleting the posts which contain something abusing about the campaign which could be true and alarming to the community. Anyone could report the campaign activity on the thread and also alert others about not participating in it due to some reasons like fradunt manager, escrow not used, scam promotion and much more. This activity should remain on the campaign thread so that other participants should know about it and if the thread is Self Moderated all this warning could be deleted by the manager easily which helps in hiding the scam.

Enjoy your day too cabalism13. It was pretty eye straining text under the post. Cheesy
1024  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is ARIZN a scam? on: March 22, 2019, 03:27:00 PM
It seems to me an avious scam, the project is inactive from months now. They have nothing updated on there social media from Dec 2018.

Here:
https://twitter.com/Arizn3
https://www.facebook.com/ariznnetwork
https://www.instagram.com/ariznproject

Also there Telegram group is Deleted.

Telegram Group: https://t.me/ariznnetwork

This surely looks like an exit scam to me.
1025  Economy / Reputation / Re: mdayonliner - Are you the new owner of this account? on: March 22, 2019, 12:59:47 PM
You didn't even read my comment properly:

But anyway, to get on topic, I thought maybe you were that hacker1001010101000 or whatever guy, but I can't prove it and have no evidence, other than his propensity to post in the same places as you. He definitely seems to be a sock of somebody, can't figure out who though.
OK, you didn't accuse me but you rather had unwilling doubts about me being an alt. So I had to prove I am not.

In your 4th post ever you tried to buy an account. You were actively buying accounts in 2017, on more than one occasion I might add:
_snip_

I never bought any of them, I was new to the forum and crypto then rather I didn't had that amount of BTC to buy one. There were many account scammers out there then and my friend was scammed by some of them so just tried dealing with them and catching the accounts they are selling. I also reported most of the fake once back then and also put on some negative tags but removed it recently. Smiley

You live in a glass house my friend. You should not be throwing stones.
Never threw stones at anyone.

Then after you had made the bare minimum number of posts to rank up to Jr Member, you started applying for signature campaigns so you could start a shitposting career. Looking at your post history you must have applied to 20 different sig/bounty campaigns in the course of less than a year.
Yes, Back then bounties were profitable, and the crypto market was bulling to the max heights.

Given its shady history I would not be surprised if your account was sold and ended up in the hands of a different member, probably one who had been banned for spamming. You have an exact 3 month posting gap from late July to late October 2018, and when you returned you let loose a flurry of shitposts. Your posting behavior was more or less the exact same from October 31st - February 17th: you posted 10-12 times a day, 1-2 days a week in 7-10 minute spurts, contributing such valuable information as this gem:
My account was never sold and was in my possession from when it was created.

Then something magical happened on February 20th. You went from posting 2-3 line shitposts to writing full-on essays, in places completely different from where you were previously posting. Now that I've reviewed your post history I'm more inclined than before to believe you are a bought account.
Nothing magical happened, I just changed my way of contributing to the forum as most of the others did after the merit system. Once more this is not a bought account.

Hack these nuts.
Dont know how to do that! Huh
1026  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda's Trust page is broken on: March 22, 2019, 12:23:07 PM
It shows "HTTP ERROR 500"

I could pretend it is due to the excessive amount of trust ratings on a single page, rating page needs an update. Sad

Sending 4439 trust ratings? Fucking hell, that is some serious dedication to the cause.

Out of which

Positive Sent = 25

Negative Sent = 4380 Shocked

This looks like a more serious dedication to the cause.
1027  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Phishing Site on: March 22, 2019, 11:56:17 AM
This issue is bought up here by many members already and most of the regular bitcointalk users would know that the only original Bitcoin forum website is "bitcointalk.org" and rest all are faked.

It is sure that most of the account hacks and info leaks happening on the forum are due to this type of "Typosquatting". Its not a new concept or a new way of spamming info, but daily millions of dollars are scammed using the same techniques on the internet.

The only way to avoid this is by pre-knowing the phishing website URL or else it could not be stopped easily. New users have higher chances of getting trapped in this.
1028  Economy / Reputation / Re: mdayonliner - Are you the new owner of this account? on: March 22, 2019, 11:18:14 AM
Hello, nutildah

Just the second time talking to you after here, and I am shocked to see you accusing me of being an alt of someone.

But anyway, to get on topic, I thought maybe you were that hacker1001010101000 or whatever guy, but I can't prove it and have no evidence, other than his propensity to post in the same places as you. He definitely seems to be a sock of somebody, can't figure out who though.

Firstly, you should try getting my name correctly, It's Hacker1001101001 ( Not hacker1001010101000 or whatever guy).

I am not an alt of the OP, rather I never talked with him before.

You are just putting up an accusing statement, and saying I don't have proof to back it up looks pretty bad attempt from a DT AKA ACCOUNT SELLER

Just to clear your doubts, I don't have any alt accounts rather I don't follow anyone in posting other than TECSHARE sometimes. Grin

Users who come out of the gate posting in Meta and Reputation are usually alt accounts of more established members.

It took me about 4 years before I even began to comment in Meta.

And yes, I like rolling in meta for sure and find most of the interesting forum discussion there currently, that in any way does not mean I should be an alt of somebody. Huh
1029  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ALQO ($XLQ) hacking their user through online wallet powered by ALQO on: March 22, 2019, 09:48:26 AM
Quoting the image for OP.

It would look more strong if you could add some proofs about the ownership of the address you listed. Something like Screenshots of the Discrod Chat where they mention the same address.
1030  Other / Meta / Re: [Spam Accusation]The Prince Of Egifts [Bump Spam] on: March 22, 2019, 03:07:15 AM
Wrong. this is not a scam accusation, it's a spam accusation, while that member is a scammer, OP is not reporting him for scam " there is no need for that, he is been tagged and he is even put in TOP 5 scammers list here > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3486346.0

The reported user is a scammer, and the OP contains all the shaddy things he does on the forum regularly. If the thread is posted in scam accusations, more DT's and normal users could go through it and act upon.
I too dont think mods would react to this case but reporting his posts would eventually get him banned as he is breaking forum rules as I said earlier.

he is been tagged and he is even put in TOP 5 scammers list here > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3486346.0

This looks like a decent approach. Good Work!  Wink

This is for site design only. I work alone without a team.

This doesn't mean you can use this pic for starting a real ICO to collect money. It's clearly a case of scam, you personally confirm you are working alone and and put some fake team members on the Website which doesn't really work with you.

This looks pretty shaddy attempt to me.

Please move your thread to Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Trading Discussion > Scam Accusations

The user is surely breaking Forum rule for multiple bumping in a day and should be banned. I have already reported his posts for this by the way.

13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours.[2]
1034  Other / Meta / Re: [RUIN THE FUN] Possible April Fools Ideas Of Theymos on: March 20, 2019, 04:20:00 PM
2017 April Fool by Theymos.

Happy April Fools. Smiley

It was actually 100% random. Each user got between 1 and 4 coins, with fewer being more likely, and for each you would get a random cryptocurrency. I organized the cryptocurrencies into three tiers according to recognizability/popularity: tier 1 coins were more likely than tier 2 coins, which were more likely than tier 3. Then a random title was added to each coin name. There were a little less than 100 coins in total: I took the top 100 based on market cap and discarded a few that seemed to have never had any real interest.

But as I'd hoped, even though it was random, plenty of people just happened to have badges that were complete matches or mismatches. Smiley

2018 April Fool by Theymos.

This is an april fools joke.

While merit improved things a lot, clearly more adjustments were necessary. Therefore, some new rank requirements have been added in addition to the old requirements.

For example, consider someone with these stats:
Quote
Merit: 40
Activity: 56
Politeness: 36
fMerit: 56
Imagination: 36
Virtue: 40
Coins: 56
Karma: 40

2019 April Fool by Theymos. (just a prediction)

By looking at previous two years example, I could guess it would be some edit to our current profile status for sure. Something like new type of badges for different ranks for a day.

But it's better not to ruine the fun behind it.  Grin

Good Guide bro!

Most of the people here would don't know but Google has its own Safe Browsing Detector named Google Search Console.

I would suggest adding this to the OP as it could be one of the most trusted scam detector out there and it is FREE.

You could get more info about it here

1037  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned - Limx Dev - Reason is a one-year-old message on: March 19, 2019, 04:08:52 PM
1. perm ban devs and real contributors for a couple of copy and paste which is not even likely financially motivated, likely just got sloppy or forgot to reference original source (does not look like any ground breaking revelations or anything even covered by copyright). I mean he is obviously not a copy and paste bot spammer and creates a lot of original content.

I too agree with this.

After spendings hours and some efforts in finding a copy-paste, I went through most of his post history and none of them seemed spammy to me.

At the end of the day, what matters is if the person we are banning from the community is worth it or not. In this case it is not for sure as Limx Dev never attempted to do anything which would harm the community rather helped in building a better one.

I think this statement of theymos would help here.

Nobody is banned strictly because of "the rules"; it's always handled case-by-case, but almost always, plagiarists deserve to be permabanned.

I would insist theymos to lift up the ban as nothing in this case looks intentional.
1038  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned - Limx Dev - Reason is a one-year-old message on: March 19, 2019, 05:44:16 AM
The one of the probable reasons why 'Limx Dev' profile was banned.

Should I buy Bitcore?

As the developers of this project, it’s not our role to make price predictions or give investment advice.

Wink

Should I buy Bitcoin Gold?

As the developers of the project, it’s not our role to make price predictions or give investment advice.
Good Catch bro, Shocked

But I don't think this probably should be the reason for banning a profile, as anyone could randomly roll up same words and form a similar sentence online. It does not mean its plagiarized, it could be a coincidence of same sentence formation to answer a similar question.

I think there should be a better explanation for the ban than this.

This is a decent reason for ban which is posting others content without any source. A considerable copy-paste. Wink

DELTA come @ Block 101K.

What is DELTA?

DELTA is the most advanced diff algorithm that has been developed by the Guldencoin development team to keep our blockchain running smooth and to give our dedicated miners better value. Multi/Jump pools have changed the game and DELTA is our answer to them.

Why was the name DELTA chosen for a diff Algorithm?

The Delta Works project in the Netherlands protects a large area around the Rhine-Meuse-Scheldt delta from the sea, the Delta works project has been declared one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.  We thought this was fitting as DELTA is going to protect stalls in the guldencoin blockchain caused by jump pools.

Was the need for DELTA serious?

Please review the above link and notice the blocks per day and longest block gaps caused by jump pools entering and exiting our blockchain. We knew after trying
Kgw and DGW3 that we had to come up with our own difficulty algorithm.

Is DELTA future proof?

The simple answer is yes. It was one of the main goals to consider the potential changes in mining and the increased power that will come from future miners
as the world starts to adapt to virtual currencies.

What else is DELTA going to achieve?

DELTA is only the first part of our implementation for keeping the blockchain running smooth. DELTA is already prep'd to take on Multi Algo in the next release.
While Multi Algo on it's own does a good job, DELTA with Multi Algo will be a perfect fit. One of the main goals of DELTA is to bring back dedicated mining
to Guldencoin. The miners are the lifeblood of the blockchain and need to be given a suitable environment in which to operate. DELTA is for you and our users!

What won't DELTA achieve?

DELTA won't prevent jump pools from coming in and claiming blocks, but it will make it less profitable for them to do so.
Depending on the amount of hash that could leave our network we could experience 60minutes block times but we feel it will rarely exceed this time. Compare it to the nlgstats link above and you will see that as a massive improvement over what we have currently. It also allows us to stay at 300(5min) second blocktimes.

I don't think there is need of listing other faked team members as just the CEO is fake makes the whole thing spammy.
Still, I have archived the page here.( archival )

One more interesting thing is they rather have a physical address listed on the website, along with phone number. Hope this can help in tracking and stoping the scam as the amount you listed they scammed is more than enough.

And those people are not the project team.

So, do you claim all of the team members listed there are fake, or just some of them ?

Also, is the name of the project CEO James Walter right or a fake name generated?

Who are you the project owner or just a representative?
