481  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OneCoin: The Biggest Scam Crypto Scam Ever? on: January 09, 2020, 07:37:02 AM
Beware of OneCoin, they are a well known scam. Fortunately, I was able to get it back with help from a Recovery Pro.  You can reach me if you have also lost money in binary options and cryptocurrency trading, you will recover everything you lost. maggiealder12 {at} gmail, com

WTF ! Are you saying you are able to get money back to all those who lost fund's in Onecoin? It looks more like scam on a scam.
482  Economy / Scam Accusations / [SOLD MEDIA] COINGEEK: Promoting BSV as reborn Bitcoin on: January 09, 2020, 06:53:06 AM
Everyone here know's BSV is nowhere near Bitcoin in it's Vision and Scaling atleast.

But COINGEEK is marketing the in a bit different way. They directly put an BUY BSV tab on the top of the page.

They even say that Bitcoin is reborned as BSV, which is a pretty wrong statement in it self.

I landed up on an page showing it being on number 23 on top Crypto News sites as of 4/17/2018.

Source: https://sludgefeed.com/most-popular-cryptocurrency-news-sites-and-blogs/amp/

If you even observe most of the articles published on COINGEEK they are mostly realted to the promotion of BSV.

Doesn't this looks like a sold out news page ?

I don't think such sold out channels should be anywhere where viewers could get a blind one way flow of news. It harm's the overall environment as per I see.

Doesn't this looks like a sold out news page ?

WOULD LIKE TO ADVICE BEING AWARE OF DEPENDING ON THIS TYPE OF ONE SIDED CRYPTO NEWS CHANNELS.

There original account here doesn't seem to be active on bitcointalk either.

483  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OneCoin: The Biggest Scam Crypto Scam Ever? on: January 09, 2020, 05:50:38 AM
I remember one guy IRL, he told me 1+ year ago about this Onecoin shit and said it is something to be invested upon. He was a person with very less crypto knowledge but got caught up into this Onecoin thing due to the bull run effect I guess, he was suggesting some very catchy but spammy offer which I just ignored debating upon, due to his imaginary price increase and future profits debate's. Was just thinking what he would be doing with those OneCoins he bought, not talked with him from an year or so. I am sure he would be crying at it and at not taking my advice back then, but would see !  Roll Eyes

It seems they have accumulated hell lot of money from involving less crypto knowledgeable peoples in promoting them, hopefully I don't have any proves of so, but the above incident could be an indication of many more people around the world getting trapped into such.

This scam is so old and so obvious, I ran across a meme..

I even get how old that meme would be LOL!
484  Economy / Reputation / Re: mosprognoz - Needs To Learn on: January 08, 2020, 01:50:14 PM
Now here is my offer. You just stop posting B.S about me on the forum. I will do the same.

Or I will proceed with my investigation. I an sure some investors that lost their money will be very happy to find jim. Also police of different countries will happy to have a conversation with him

If you are trying to witch hunt Eddie because he pointed out your big scam busting brain's judgement faults, I don't think you would achieve anything here.

As for the Eddie's move on announcing the accounts change in hand's looks logical and even his involvement in the project was pretty much long time ago. Just move on.
485  Economy / Reputation / Re: BitcoinSV creating vexatious and invalid flags on: January 08, 2020, 06:28:10 AM
Is this sort of flagrant disregard for the rules of flag creation and obvious flag abuse grounds for a ban? Huh

I don't think so he would be banned for that, just don't support the flags you don't feel right and it will work out itself.
486  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Stop logging Tor Exit IPs on: January 08, 2020, 06:06:04 AM
Your suggestions looks pretty much an effective way to curb the data storage related to IP logins to the forum. Theymos had already applied some IP retantion restriction features recently. Another intend of theymos behind it could be reducing the data storage space of the user's who don't want to save there IP locations.

I agree tor exits data recording is of probably no use to the forum and not storing them would benifits in a way.
487  Other / Meta / Re: Does this tread really deserve the attention it has got? on: January 07, 2020, 07:21:47 PM
Ekhem, what about this (I stopped checking at "And Token is a Digital asset".):

There is a huge difference between a cryptocurrency coin and Token. Both crypto coins and Token are cryptocurrencies. But Still, there are differences.

Those cryptocurrencies that have their own blockchain are called cryptocurrency coins. Such as Bitcoin, Lite Coin, Ethereum, etc. I mean, A cryptocurrency coin uses its own blockchain to perform its functions. Cryptocurrency coins are like real money. You will be able to use crypto coins as real money even though the crypto coin is not a physical coin. It has the store value and the exchange value.

~more text~

Doesn't it look like this article was paraphrased:

Quote
However, there are very big differences between crypto coins and crypto tokens.

The definition of a digital coin is an asset that is native to its own blockchain. Think about Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Ether. Each of these coins exists on their own blockchain.Digital coins are generally used in the same way as a real-life coin is – as money. Often, they don’t serve any other purpose than to be used as money.

"As a store of value"

From here https://www.bitdegree.org/tutorials/token-vs-coin/

Even "Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum" is placed in exactly the same order.

Surely an low effort post, probably near to copy paste.

What a waste of 7 merits from some level headed user's here.

Nice find. Btw, doesn't look's like that's the only post he has used this rephrasing strategies.
488  Other / Meta / Re: Posts: 0, Activity:0, merit: 136 on: January 07, 2020, 08:48:28 AM
Interesting. All 3 accounts that sent the merits woke up on 27 December 2019 in the evening hours.
The merits were sent between 09:46 and 09:50 PM on that same day.

Looks like some dump merit transactions. Not even look's like merit selling.

Even the newbie account was created on February 15, 2017. Looks more like some experiment.
489  Other / Meta / Re: Does this tread really deserve the attention it has got? on: January 07, 2020, 07:57:07 AM

New way to earn 50 merits without doing anything is derived out of this thread.
490  Economy / Reputation / Re: More abuse by TECSHARE NSFW reee(sponse) on: January 07, 2020, 05:17:40 AM
Again, whatever you need to say to paint yourself as infallible is fine with me and I would never expect you to say that you fucked up, or even to e.g address your Quick-schizo-inclusion instead of deflecting.

Anyways we could confirm PN7 being QS ? ( Something Solid ).
I don't know why should TECSHARE act on this if he doesn't know the valid reason behind the connection. He already doesn't trusts QS's judgement according to the trust list.

Besides it's very likely that you'd be just as belligerent if anyone (particularly someone you dislike) tried to PM you about something like this. Your inability to be wrong is legendary.

It doesn't even seem logical that he would deny excluding an alt of an already excluded user if he gets some proofs, as you think.
491  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multiple red tagged "Duckdice" have launched "Towerbet" on: January 07, 2020, 04:30:47 AM
I only see a neutral feedback coming from Coolcryptovator. So any DT members here would like to share their opinion on this matter?

That indicates Coolcryptovator is not acting like a nanny around and is a stable minded person who judges a situation in more realistic way.

Based on their new unmoderated ANN thread a lot of users are eager to join the casino already and I think that's not what we want to see from a DuckDice related website.

What do you think they have done to split this shit on them and not let them operate here ?

For you kind info, the issue here is already resolved by them.
492  Other / Meta / Re: Does this tread really deserve the attention it has got? on: January 06, 2020, 05:59:35 PM
It is OK.

It's best if sources try to exhaust their source allocations, even if it means giving posts higher amounts than is typical. If you have 150 source merit and you only see 3 merit-worthy posts in a month, then I'd rather you over-give each of them 50 merit than let the merit expire. That way there are more people capable of sending merit, and the "merit economy" is less top-down.
I don't really agree with theymos here, and I wouldn't have done it myself, but in the big picture it doesn't really matter: if a user isn't a spammer, 50 Merit doesn't hurt the forum, and he gets to merit other posts again.

The drawback of not sending 50 at a time is that I'm still sitting on 8% of all the sMerit I ever had. And having a busy day like today doesn't help Tongue

Sprinkling them on users having longer usernames could be an great idea rather than watching them decay. Tongue

BTW, I too don't agree with sending that high amounts of merits at a time as many posts deserving merits go unnoticed everyday around.
493  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] Multiple Fake BTC Giveaway Live Streaming Videos on Youtube! on: January 06, 2020, 05:15:07 PM
Which is weird because I thought YouTube was really cracking down on crypto-related stuff.

Apparently scammers can upload the video and have enough time to run the scam for it to be a profitable endeavor.

YouTube is trying to curb crypto content, but it is targeted mostly to a very small group or newly emerging crypto channels. As many famous peoples on YouTube often take intrest or talk about cryptos due to it's increasing awareness around. According to a recent incident they had to unban some accounts which were banned for crypto graphic contents as it included some of the celebrity personalities which posted there view's and loosing of trust on twitter due to there account getting banned. But YouTube is surely against it.

Anyways, even I experience those bots poping up with that spammy content on telegram often. It's really irritating for an group manager to delete and block the accounts every time.
494  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Blueprint gaming is a scam - With proof on: January 06, 2020, 04:58:50 PM

Thats sick, but its gambling - I know this doesn't help but have you thought about just investing this money in your own casino/game?

Yaa, he could just built up his own gambling company in the amounts of funds he lost until. Around 400000+ Euros until.  Huh

Are you serious @btmarketmod ?

If you are doing it just to prove them as scam than it is surely not worth it, there are better ways to prove it.
495  Economy / Reputation / Re: ban request- 12 live profiles - ban evasion on: January 06, 2020, 01:12:35 PM
You are right. I sent a report to the moderators.
Hello, Yes I have accounts on baconcat ,BUT the rules are not forbidden to have them. One account I register in social networks, and others in signatyre companies.I DO NOT DUPLICATE THE PARTICIPATION OF THESE ACCOUNTS IN THE SAME COMPANY, WHICH IS ALSO ALLOWED BY THE RULES. Please look into this situation, remove the negative trust . Thanks

You have some of your accounts already banned here, getting the trust removed would do nothing as you are going to get banned again for ban envision.
496  Economy / Reputation / Re: More abuse by TECSHARE NSFW reee(sponse) on: January 06, 2020, 01:05:56 PM
- hacker1001101001 (he may well be a decent guy with a shady past, but had a blank trust list up until last week; pretty weird for you to include him for reasons other than spite)

You are just making up things.

He has included me in the trust list pretty much from when mine one was blank, nothing was out of spite.

On the opposite I think you excluded me from your trust list out of spite. The only reason I got until was, that I am a reformed shitposter, still don't expect a better one.

Nice pinging about my shady past. I took your advice already of eating criticism.
497  Other / Meta / Re: How to edit my username? on: January 06, 2020, 12:53:25 PM
Would please give the admin user so i can contact him?

Better create a new one, don't you think Bitcointalk admin is busy ?

You just have 4 posts until, and there are very less chances that theymos would accept your username change request. Just go with another account.

Thank you.

Welcome.

Now can you, please lock the thread from bottom left of this page as you got the answer.
498  Other / Meta / Re: Does this tread really deserve the attention it has got? on: January 06, 2020, 12:46:15 PM
Is that case true here that there are no post available that are worth for merits? I can search worth threads and show, even the OP of the thread I shared has very good post in his past that would have been considered right? Do you @hacker1001101001 really think that this thread was worth it. I felt that the tread I shared is over rated.

I can understand your frustration and concern about that post getting 50+ merit. In real sense the post surely doesn't even deserve a single merit if considered singly, but one could debate that he has sent the merits to all the post's of the user overall. Basically it is not fair to many members who are hanging around there heads by putting efforts in each comment they make and showing best out of them. I personally have never got that amount of merits in single transaction until even after putting good amount of efforts in whatever I put up here, even I feel the same as you by looking at the unusual merit springs from TMAN. But, it's already stated by theymos being Ok and one can't argue on merit sources being active most of the times as they are not paid for it.

I would even push users with huge merits to keep track on some threads which highlights newbies or atleast good poster's around and think TMAN did the same and got the suggestion of meriting that user from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5215097.0.
499  Other / Meta / Re: Did You Ever Send Merits In Error? on: January 06, 2020, 11:09:51 AM
Many users have complaint sending merits by mistake, as I have seen many such threads. But I don't think theymos has revised merits for such mistakes any time before.
