1021  Economy / Services / Re: 1000 USD bounty for whoever helps me get my money back on: August 09, 2022, 12:11:06 AM
Why here?  There's no KuCoin support team here that will help you out, if there is, that might a scammer.
Be careful now when anyone asks to help you, they might ask for your KuCoin information to steal left there.

Contact support and state your issue, they will surely help you out with this problem.
They had an article relevant to your problem, What Should I Do If Deposit Wrong Crypto?
It might help you to figure out the process on this request and watch this Youtube video from that article.

Good luck and be patient, you're very lucky if there's a quick response from them.
1022  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info Legacy Wallet on: August 08, 2022, 11:57:00 PM
I doubt anyone is still looking into this, but just in case:

I recently coded a tool for this problem for somebody else, so I could help anyone in this situation. Just ask here or in PM.
Instead of bumping a 5-year-old topic why not create your own thread?

Everyone will be careful about this service offer, it will possibly lead to a scam once your private key and password exposed.

Here's a Youtube tutorial on how to Brute-force your online blockchain.info wallet with btcrecover, no need to trust anyone else to gain access your valuable stuff.
1023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy coins at 17k weeks ago could be the best time to buy on: August 08, 2022, 11:29:11 PM
~
First move this to BTC Discussion like Beparanf said.
It should be on the Speculation board since OP was trying to predict Bitcoin price using his own chart.  Similar to this thread, But OP here predicting in a bullish way and not in a bearish one.  If you are an investor waiting when the bear market comes like buying Bitcoin at the cheapest price in the lowest value of $10k, it seems that's unlikely to happen.  We didn't know it will happen since the price is unpredictable.

I suggest you buy Bitcoin in a DCA way so that you can minimize your losses/profit once there is.  Because there's no accurate prediction on Bitcoin price and those claiming who are good at predicting the market, are a true liars.
1024  Economy / Speculation / Re: MY DAILY BITCOIN TRADING SIGNALS on: August 08, 2022, 11:16:12 PM
Please watch out, I will not disappoint you.
If you can provide proof so I'll watch this thread of yours and open my eyes to this.
It sounds interesting to me, it's free and nothing to lose to anyone here, all we want is proof that there's even 80% accuracy of your signals.

Quote
Proof? So you still believe that? I can fabricate it as many others do. Why not let me prove it in practice?
We've encountered a similar offer like this but there's no proof of it, they're usually newbie accounts that need to build trust first before the community believes what they said regarding signals.  But at least, you're not asking for any financial for now.

Quote
I am a professional trader, I pride myself in that regard. You will soon appreciate me, just watch out, and it's free.
As I said, keep my eyes open to this thread and waiting updates.
Let's see if there's really an 85% winning percentage of your signal.
1025  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Market Sentiment Infographic for August on: August 08, 2022, 11:04:25 PM
It seems this chart has a sense IMO and I tend to agree that it has a relevant movement.

We witnessed how the market played well right now, it seems I believe also that there's a manipulation of the price because of this suddenly pump and dump quickly but unfortunately, I don't have any valid reason to prove it.
But I will not scratch my head to find an accurate prediction because I prefer a long-term price prediction that for sure the price of Bitcoin will always head up.  The next Bitcoin halving is near to come and I think that's another reason to boost the Bitcoin price.

However, it's a good thing to see that your chart seems to predict in a bullish way.
1026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador claim bitcoin attracts tourists right or wrong? on: August 07, 2022, 11:48:59 PM
There are no clear data to support their claim but the Tweet said, "mostly" which I think in general they noticed due to Bitcoin.
It's a perfect combination for Bitcoin to spend, from beaches, surfing, and of course, buying food and accommodation for the tourist will surely they will freely use Bitcoin as a payment.

Maybe there are some Bitcoin enthusiasts who go there and experience how to spend their Bitcoin in a country that totally Bitcoin is legal and accepted like a fiat.  It's good news if this is true, it could be other countries will do the same to increase their tourist income.
1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin : A digital currency or a computer program? on: August 06, 2022, 11:58:48 PM
Does anyone think Bitcoin first as a digital currency or a computer program?
It's both of them, it's a computer program that has its own protocol that no one owns and no one will change on it.
It's also an open-source code that can be publicly seen but you can't modify it.  Due to the limited supply, this becomes a digital currency that the creator purposed to become a digital currency and its financial freedom.

For more information, I think you need to read the Bitcoin Whitepaper to understand what the purpose of Bitcoin was created.
1028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading then switching currencies on: August 06, 2022, 11:37:41 PM
Isn't diversification?  Diversification of your portfolio is sometimes risky and not all you can make a good decision to it.

I have been years in trading but I stopped, why?  Because even scalping is a very risky strategy even though you've experienced it.
It might be good if you will practice scalping through an exchange that has a demo feature, and more practice that enhances your ability in trading to pick the right time to divert into other cryptos like switching from Bitcoin to Ethereum.

Why not you didn't choose to invest alone and apply DCA in buying crypto like Bitcoin?
Buying in a DCA way is the best way to enter the market that you're safe and also holding in a long term will surely make a profit.
1029  Other / Meta / Re: Lending Discussion ? on: August 06, 2022, 11:03:43 PM
A lending discussion board would be nice, but the question is, how many users are going to be posting there?
Good question, so not ideal to have another board for lending discussion.
Because if there is, it's most likely;
  • Defaulted Loan
  • Scam
Which is more accurate on the Reputation board.  So, it isn't necessary.

I suppose it can all be in reputation too.
Great! Case closed. I think you can close this thread as well.
I tend to agree.

But you can simply correct it and easy to determine if you will use third-party apps that correct your grammar, spelling, and even punctuation.  I used Grammarly, at least I know that I've got a mistake in all listed above before hitting the "post" and establishing your post.  I read it twice and sometimes hit the "preview" to make sure my post doesn't have a mistakes that mentioned above.

1031  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Coinbase wallet safe? on: August 04, 2022, 03:27:44 PM
I've been allocating some savings to BTC. I keep seeing exchanges fall, and not your keys not your coin. I've been using the Coinbase wallet app. Is that safe?

You already said the answer, so what you're looking for?
If you didn't have your keys while storing your crypto on that wallet which means not your coins.  All centralized exchanges aren't ideally good for storing our crypto assets in a long term, all of them are prone to scams that might end up shutting down.

IMO, custodial wallets or centralized exchanges shouldn't be good for storing your coins, they're only good at converting our crypto assets to fiat nothing else.  Non-custodial or hardware wallets are much better cold storage if this is your purpose, you have a guarantee that your coins are safe as long as you keep your private key safe.

1033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't sit on your hands on: August 02, 2022, 11:10:06 PM
It's sad what I have noticed to all new investors in Bitcoin because when the price drops, they will not invest or no one will invest.  But when the price started to grow up and if they notice that the bull run will come, there's a lot of talking to it and start to invest.  That's why when Bitcoin dropped the price, it's always been a struggle to spike back because of this behavior that I've noticed.

For those wise investors who invest through DCA way upon buying Bitcoin, it seems this idea is playing safe and it could be the best way if you invest for the purpose of holding it in the long term.
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Borrow fiat with your Bitcoin and never sell on: August 01, 2022, 11:59:27 PM
Have any of you heard of “Buy, Borrow, Die”? It’s what billionaires do, and it’s why they never pay taxes. If more Bitcoiners followed this strategy, the price of Bitcoin would also rise because we would have more holders.
I get you and this is how I love how Robert Kiyosaki inspired people about debt and taxes and it might it's good if you watch this short clip of him.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vZv-7NqI3NM

This man I most admire, it's sure you've learned a lot with him and I think this idea is also good to apply if you want to invest in Bitcoin and aim for a target range time so that you can get paid the interest.

Your idea seems good, but make sure you can handle it very well.  There should be a game plan.
1035  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why People Use Bitcointalk on: August 01, 2022, 11:32:28 PM
Almost From Seven Month i use Bitcointalk Forum. I see that have many Forum same like Bitcointalk. For Example, Cryptotalk, Altcointalk, Bitcoingarden etc Forum. But Why People Always like and Use This Bitcointalk Forum.
The legendary history of this forum might the reason why crypto enthusiasts were here including me.
The genius man or a group who created Bitcoin and also the creator of this forum Satoshi Nakamoto, you will find all his previous posts here in this forum and histories that we will never forget in crypto were also found here.

So that's it, it might that's the reason why people keep choosing Bitcointalk.org because its previous history that might catch interest them, unlike other forums which earlier found than Bitcointalk.org.

Another factor could be, that there are a lot of good and informative topics that surely a reader easy for them to understand.
Just ask yourself why you're here, it might be that 90% of other members have the same reason as you.

1037  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Macroeconomic Situation of BTC on: July 31, 2022, 11:40:25 PM
These type of people won't buy bitcoin when the price is at all time low. But this same population will buy once they see an upward trend.
Exactly, I have witnessed this when there's a new ATH and if you compared when there's a bear market trend.
When the price reached a new ATH, a lot of people talked about Bitcoin, others blamed themselves why they didn't invest while the price is very low or while have corrections.  The reason also why Bitcoin price struggled to pump up during the bear market trend is because the FOMO continued spreading which commonly happens to new investors who are always afraid to have a loss.

There are too many factors behind this bear market not only this macroeconomics situation or we're just a bear market cycle which makes the Bitcoin price struggle to pump up, otherwise, but it's also because it's normal for Bitcoin to pump and dump because of it's nature of volatility.
1038  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Competition for the best slogan for Betnomi / Prize $100 in BTC! on: July 31, 2022, 11:25:35 PM
It's quite tough this competition upon reading those who posted earlier, just to make sure there's no the same entry.

Here's mine.
  • Conquer your rivals, Bet on me.
  • Betnomi - Connect.  Bet.  Become Champion.
1039  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is crypto going up after the news of being in a recession? on: July 31, 2022, 10:58:32 PM
Do you guys Believe in this pump or is it just temporary until another leg down?
I personally am not sure so I'm just slowly  DCAing  in to my favourite projects.
You already answered your question here.
No one can tell us what's the perfect movement of the Bitcoin price, it's remained unpredictable and no one knows in the future.

Stick to Bitcoin and that's right, you're on the right path investing Bitcoin in a DCA way, you can minimize your losses through this method.

Speaking about recession, that's a different story here but sometimes these fundamental reports really have an impact on the price and it could be Bitcoin is a safe place against recession.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What your ideas about bitcoin adoption in the future? on: July 31, 2022, 10:49:53 PM
But the truth is Bitcoin adoption as of now not as a means of payment, Bitcoin adoption is storing the value that holders can make a profit in a certain time.
I doubt this becomes crucial now, when those big holders drop their bags and sell all their Bitcoin have, it will surely have an impact on the market which dropping the price.

However, the awareness has continued to spread and there are some stores now accepting Bitcoin, recently the US added more Bitcoin ATMs which means the demand of the buyers has been there.  So I expect that there are massive Bitcoin adoption in the future, in fact, we have a few countries has been starting Bitcoin makes a legal tender.
