1021  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Meron Na Bang Naka Apply Dito At Is It Worth It on: June 17, 2023, 04:40:00 PM

1022  Local / Pilipinas / Blackrock ETF for the win! on: June 17, 2023, 03:36:18 PM

Hi, i tried this casino i found here in bitcointalk forum,

i signed up, made a deposit and tried to play to a slot....

results shown in casino statistics:

Total game played:  370
Total loss : 330
Total wins: 38

This stats doesn’t make sense if you don’t indicate slot provider and it’s volatility because that’s give a huge impact on the percentage of your win/loss ratio. I’m wondering how do you count loss over win on slot games because it’s consider a winning bet too even if small profit, You just trigger smaller payout.

This stats pretty normal when playing a slot game with low hit ratio or high volatility. Don’t expect a 50/50 percentage or close to that on slot because it’s payout is random. You can recover all your losses with just 1 spin with big multiplier.
1024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to fight with FUD about Bitcoin on: June 17, 2023, 12:44:46 PM
The problem is he doesn't reply when someone wants to talk against his stupid opinion. He simply put answer on quora and then leave. I have replied in many of his answer in quora but never got a reply.
Now, I'm getting more concerned because he is spreading negativity in most of the questions. What can I do? Is there anything legal step someone can take, any foundation working on such issue? Or how can I invite him for a debate? I can simply put him on ignore but I'm also concerned about people getting wrong message. That's why I'm thinking something different.

Just do what he is doing. Spread your idea and ignore opinion that against you such as his post. We don’t need to defend all attack because they will just get enough attention with their comment.

Haters will always gonna hate. It’s nonsense to debate with them because they will just find a way to twist your reasoning for their advantage or simply they will just ignore you. We are not required to reply all the opinions that opposite to us.
1025  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitDice deceived investors? on: June 17, 2023, 12:39:18 PM

When the site was still under management of Alex, I believe there was a genuine idea to improve the site. What happened that caused them to neglect investors? I do not now. I think ICO money was initially planned to be spent to improve the site. Or atleast they made it seem like that. The release of new versions of the site, new games being added etc. speak for that. That's quite literally all I know. Why would they have kept me informed how they spend the money? I would have suspected something if they had given me more details.

I don’t consider their update as enough improvements considering how huge money they collected during ICO. They measly added some mediocre game and revamped their UI/UX for more than a year of waiting IIRC then they stop on that especially when the token price is dumping hard.

Bitdice is heavily defended here despite many valid concern against the progress of the casino which in fact already stable before they even begin their ICO. They become slower to develop after they got the money.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎲 UBET 🎲 sports betting platform ❤️ Try out web3 decentralized sports betting on: June 16, 2023, 04:21:14 PM
@Ubetsports01, I hope that you read the rules before you start posting multiple times this exact post on your different thread in the forum. You posted this exact post to bump threads on your review campaign on services board and your other ANN thread here on gambling board aside from this one. This is considered as spamming because you are only allowed to make an announcement with same post on a single there thread which is your ANN thread.

Your bitcointalk account might suffer some punishment if you will keep doing this kind of action. Anyway nice promotion and I might try to join this AMA.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trust dice on: June 16, 2023, 03:58:27 PM
It has been a year and a few days since I have been promoting Trust Dice on the forum using my signature space. I have not read anything unfair or negative topics about them until now. They have been marketing their casino through a signature campaign and have a pretty active ANN thread. Every now and then they have numerous offer for those who are new to their casinos and also for those who are part of it. It would be great if you can add your reason to create this topic.

Maybe you are not aware with @GxSTxV recent concern about trustdice wagering requirement for bonus deposit that you can read on this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5448471.  He didn't  mention directly the Trustdice name but you can clearly see that he is talking about this wagering requirements complain on the trustdice ann thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5126117.msg62159358#msg62159358.

Although it's not a big deal, there is still a valid concern about the casino that brought up by forum user.

He mentioned directly after a few pages, but I wouldn't expect people to know as most don't read any replies, they only reply.

It’s very hard to read all the replies especially if there’s already a multiple page. I only read the first page that time because all the replies is already same. Thanks for providing the quoted statement on his thread.

I'm not a fan of a 5x wager requirement, but if I am gambling I am not really paying attention to my exact wager and trying to cashout as soon as I hit it.

Same here, Wagering requirements kills the fun of gambling because it will push the gambler to play more even if they are already in profit on early games. I remember most of the casino doesn’t have this requirements before while Curacao license is already available that time. The first casino that I remember to implement this requirements is Fortunejack then other casino follow.
1028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fibonacci Tool and Price Action. on: June 16, 2023, 02:18:54 PM
Hey friends!!

I am a long-term trader who do not have any expertise. My plan is to buy at a low and sell at a high, but it takes a lot of time and patience, so I decided to start short term trading. My friend told me that using the Fibonacci tool in conjunction with price action is the most successful trading method. I'm attempting to investigate and learn about it. Can someone suggest a good instructional video or book to help me learn both?

Thank you!!

Success rate depends on the user of that indicator because we have different placement of the indicator based on the time frame we are using. Saying that it is the most successful method on trading is debatable. It’s really the most popular indicator on short term trading because you can determine the price support and the movement of the price properly but this does not guarantee your successful because timing to enter is still the key to success because there is always a time that the price breaks all the support set by the Fibonacci if there is a strong trend.

I suggest to combine it with chart patterns so that you will have a general overview on what will be the outcome of the price in general.

1030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New question for experts on: June 15, 2023, 04:26:39 PM
Hello everyone, I have a new question,
In your opinion, is it worth attending blockchain events?

I’m no expert but it is worth it if you have the passion on learning it especially if the event is free entry for all participants. I attended one of blockchainevent  here in our country hosted by a popular exchange. I learned a lot but since I’m not a developer or involved on computer programming, I don't appreciate much the technical knowledge aside from key knowledge involved on blockchain.

It will be helpful if you can provid the link to the event so that we can review the scope of topics and wha’t the background of the speaker involved. This is crucial to determine the worth of that event.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: June 15, 2023, 04:22:31 PM
The age limit placed on people below 18 year to keep them away frim gambling have not been most effective as we have hard records of under age gambling in many place and this is a pointer that casino has indeed misolaced their primary responsibility which is to prevent that from happening and that is why there is need for KYC.
The underage of 18 years old is a part of the reasons why KYC is compulsory on most online casinos but not all online casinos requires KYC verification, there is freebitco and others like this platform that underage kids can gamble on. They can also passed the KYC if they can get a hold of their elder brothers ID or even their parents, unless the online casino has the latest KYC style that ask for your selfie live.

Unless the casino will do that for sure it serves the purpose of KYC, but like what you mentioned it can easily be hack by minors especially
those who knows how to play with the system.

They can easily submit other's ID's and pretend to be them and continue enjoying playing, with the knowledge that they can acquire online.

It's very possible that those young folks can work it out even there's already a KYC requirement.

I undergo KYC on various reputable casino here in the forum and all of them require selfie verification that holds the ID and piece of paper written the current date and casino name. I doubt that a minor can dodge this kind of selfie verification unless if they will use fake ID and make themselves to looks like old enoigh in the selfie photo.

Exchange also have this kind of verification process. I think a minor can only play on decentralised casino but not on centralized casino with strict compliance with their license provider.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: June 15, 2023, 10:48:02 AM

This is a 50/50 match because both of them could defeat the other. But if I were to base my prediction on what they have achieved over the years in their career and what they can do, I think Crawford is ahead.

Judging from their past fights, I think Crawford no doubt has the slight advantage here for about 60/40 but we all know Spence is also strong when he is facing a real contender. Both should really be going to fight at this time because they already delayed it longer than expected. thankfully they decided to agree on and we will gonna see one of the fights of the century in a couple of days now. The conference I saw on the post made them finalize their fight and it will gonna be one of the fights that we want to watch live because no matter how see it, it will gonna be one of the historical fights in boxing history.

Agreed, Crawford is the crowd favorite due to its skill set and eagerness to win. Knowing how Crawford fight, The first few rounds will gonna be boring since they will just calculating each other or whatsoever unless Spence forced Crawford to become aggressive and fight him blow by blow. Crawford has the advantage in terms of stamina since Spence is a big man.

I just hope that their fight will not gonna result into early knock out since both fighter is very capable on doing that with an opening.
1033  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - how low will we go in 2023? on: June 15, 2023, 10:40:18 AM
I bought the other day and we have seen yet another crash since then it feels like there is so much bad news and FUD at the moment.

I feel like having a break as I am starting to feel we could go close to the lows of last year, not sure if we will go that low but could go close so thinking of waiting until we see at least another 10% drop to buy more.

How is everyone else feeling?

Yesterday crash is just the lowest price point when the first crash happened. It's called retesting of the support. Learn how to use DCA to have a better price entry in an uncertain market. I think it will be on a sideways again since the issue on SEC and inflation are still ongoing.

There's still no sign of positive market so don't expect that it will recover overnight after you invest. Keep buying and hold until the bullrun because this is a perfect opportunity to buy more in preparation for the next year halving. Don’t miss out this opportunity.
1034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WARNING SIGN on: June 14, 2023, 03:35:49 PM
please i would like to know, something regarding the forum even as have been here for a long time, i came across a warning ⚠  sign on a topic i was about to comment when i navigated to page 9 at the TRADING DISCUSSION .

You can comment on it if it's really necessary for that same topic. Necro bumping is what you are gonna commit if you will continue to post with that warning since the topic is already abandoned by the OP.

Does it mean we cant go back in time to comment on any topic, just need few explanation

You can always create a new thread specifically for discussion on that specific old thread as continuation of that topic. Bumping an old thread that already irrelevant to current time is useless and spam.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Improve Your Sports Betting Skills and Win More Bets? on: June 14, 2023, 01:41:26 PM

Following these methods and constantly improving your skills will allow you to improve your betting talents and raise your chances of winning more bets over time. Remember that sports betting does require patience, discipline, and dedication to make it profitable.

What do you think?

All the factors that you brought up here is factual correct especially number 1 and 3 which is probably the most case scenario on the story that you attached. The guy is surely very good on sport analysis and scouting on value bets offered by a sportsbook. I doubt that he is the guy who compared odds since that is time consuming while the user is obviously show an impatient characteristics by making an all in bets.

Sportsbet is really profitable and anyone can dominate it since there’s a parlay that amplify the profit for multiple pick bets. A good sports analyzer can perfectly predict a 5 or more leg parlay bets. He is legend.
1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We the Bitcoin Enthusiasts, How can we Safequard our Holdings in Turbulent Times on: June 14, 2023, 01:31:28 PM
How might the closure of a prominent cryptocurrency exchange like Binance affect investors confidence in the broader crypto market, and what steps do you think enthusiasts can take to safeguard their investments in such situations? Please share tips.

This commotion on Binance is good event to give lesson to crypto holders especially newbie to avoid using any centralized exchange as wallet to hold their funds for a long time. Use a non custodial wallet or much better hardware wallet to implement maximum security on safeguarding your assets.

I'm thinking about closing my key positions for the time being.

This is a good idea since we don’t know what’s gonna happened in the future for the Binance case. Much better to use other service rather than stay on exchange with issue.

Every person is right in his own opinion so do not use offensive words on others who make a post but rather convince them to understanding why their opinion is wrong
Some members of this forum do this alot
Like saying a person's post is nonsense or is of no use like this post made by a newbie
with SOKO- DEKE  saying it is nonsense  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5454681.0
Please let us be more polite when making post or replying posts

We are not on the church or other place that is moderated  for our words. It’s his opinion towards the subject. I don’t see any impolite on the word nonsense the post is really nonsense on his perspective.

1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges on: June 13, 2023, 04:34:41 PM
Hey, everyone   Smiley
I have recently started to be interested in the issue of cryptocurrency, please, tell me which exchanges are considered the safest and most convenient?

DEX is the most safe exchange, Bisq.network is one of the most popular decentralized exchange here which you can buy your Bitcoin safely. CEX always exposed you to risk since you are depositing your assets on wallets that you don’t have a full control. Your balance might be trapped in there anytime if something bad happened on the exchange like the recent event on FTX and more.

Binance and Coinbase are both under lawsuit again SEC while they are the top exchange on crypto. Don’t gamble your funds CEX and start learning on how to use DEX. This will make your crypto experience less exposure on risk.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 13, 2023, 04:18:02 PM
You do it when you lose a large amount, then you come back and promise again not to go back to a place that has made you lose a large amount of money. You keep doing it time and time again but can never control yourself from stopping gambling. My best advice is never to hold large amounts of money if you are still afraid of losing money in the casino. Defeat is not to be regretted, you can still limit your habits by holding small amounts of money or only for the needs of buying cigarettes and coffee.

It’s easy to tell than done. It’s very tempting to gamble if you knew that you have enough money since you can deposit quickly and think about having profit. It’s very hard to limit yourself for not holding specific amount of money especially if you have the full control of your wallet including your salary.

There’s a high chance that you will start thinking about gambling using your salary even though the payday is not yet due. This kind of waiting makes people excited and push to gambling once they have the money already.
