Afghanistan is doing good against the English bowling attack as of now. 95 without any loss of wicket is a good start for them. Gurbaz has already on 60+ runs and is looking good. Delhi pitch has always favoured batters and I was surprised to see England choosing to bowl first. It seems they want to chase and improve their net run rate as they are down on 5th on the point table. If they win today they would need a good net run rate to be in the top 4 of the point table.

Lord doesn't need to do anything. We are lucky to witness how he blessed the Indian team/fans and the sport with his mere presence in the stadium. Nonbelievers can't understand this kinetic energy Lord brings in but true believers trust the supremacy of Lord Thakur.  Tbh, nothing much to analyze, it was just pure domination and humiliation. Pakbros need to keep their heads up and move on to the next match as it's a long tournament. I feel Rohit doesn't have a lot of confidence on Thakur when it comes to bowling. He is a bowler who is expensive but has the knack of taking wickets. He has been selected in the team primarily because he is an all rounder. Yesterday India didn't require his service as the other bowlers were sufficient to get the Pakistani batters. Another one-sided contest, fans had high expectations regarding the stats, still Pakistan failed again mainly their batting unit looks too weak now, and they need to work on it if they want to beat big teams in the upcoming matches or else there is no place for them in top 4.
Hitman played tremendously, and he kept that attitude since the first ball of that inning and goes all guns blazing against all the bowlers. Now team India is in the top 1 position because of their better NRR and it starts to look like India is going to be a team that can beat all the teams in this tournament just due to their excellent performance in both batting and bowling unit.
This is the eight times that India has defeated Pakistan in the World Cup. I never expected Pakistan to lose all their wickets in just a few overs. They once had lost only 2 wickets with 155 runs on the scoreboard. As soon as Babar Azam got out everything went haywire for Pakistan. Indian bowling was exceptionally good again today. The bowlers were able to do what the captain wanted them to. Shiraj was hit so badly in his previous overs. Still he came back big time to claim the first Pakistani batter. Bhumrah had the best figures today, took 2 wickets and gave only 19 runs. This defeat will affect the Pakistani teams performance in the World Cup. |

What just happened? 5 wickets gone for 166 runs. Babar and Rizwan were playing good. As soon as Babar got bowled by Shiraj, Pakistan started losing wickets. First it was Saud followed by Iftikar. Rizwan is still standing on the non stiker end, not much batting left for Pakistan. Again they proved that the team depends on the batting of Babar & Rizwan. I still feel Rizwan can take Pakistan out of this bad situation. If not then Pakistan won't be able to win this big game.
Edit: Rizwan gone, bowled by Bhumrah. I have now zero hopes for Pakistan. I doubt they will be able to get 250 runs on the scoreboard.
155 for 2 to 171 for 7, 5 wickets gone for just 15 runs. Will they be able to bat full 50 overs is now questioned. What a disaster for Pakistan. Pakistan's two openers did not get a better performance than the team. But Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were batting responsibly. The team collected 123 runs in 24 overs.
Both Babar Azam and Rizwan have now formed a partnership which is more than 50 runs. The both are inching close to thier respective 50s. This game is slowly moving out of the hands of Indian bowlers. They are trying to break this partnership but it seems nothing is working for them. Big hits are being expected in the coming overs from both of them. |

The match that every cricket fan had been waiting has started. India winning the toss and asking Pakistan to bat first. The pitch doesn't offer any assistance to the fast bowlers. It might give some assistance to the Indian spinners which we will see in the later stage of the game. At the moment the Pakistani openers have given their team a good start. After end of 8 overs they have scored 41 runs and lost 1 wicket.
Good news for India, Shubman Gill is part of the playing 11. He gives a good boost to the batting order of the Indian team. Ishan Kishan has been dropped for this match.

It's Chepuk again so spin is their best ally against the Kiwis. At the same Kiwis also have 2 spinners and one of them is Satner, Chepuk is kind of his homeground because he plays for CSK
They are bowling second so they should pray for dew to take a week off. NZ is in good form and Kane Mama is back in the squad so won't be an easy task for the Bongs.
Chennai spin factor will play a vital role in the match. Both teams have good spinner Satner and Mehidy Hasan Miraz. I still feel the Kiwis are looking far better than Bangladesh. They have a better batting side with most batters in form. Bangladesh has a good bowling but their batters have been inconsistent in this tournament. That might be the reason why they are ranked within the top 100 exchanges globally. Other exchanges were basically focusing on getting Indian users on board. They spent a good chunk of their earnings on advertising in India. They never new that the government of India would destroy their ambition with the tax slab. Have you tried their platform? Or if there's anyone else who is actively using KoinBX can they share their review of the exchange. I wanted to know how they are providing deposits and withdrawals in INR and if it's reliable. I came to know about this exchange only after this thread was created. I was also clueless that they existed. I did some research about them and that too only using CMC data. They look legit to me, I haven't heard or read anything wrong about them. I haven't used the exchange and don't plan to as you need to pass KYC. |

What has happened to Australia? Almost everyone looks out of form (other than Labuschagne). Maybe they will find form as the tournament goes by. India and South Africa arent pushover to beat easily while finding individual form. Next, they face Sri Lanka and I think that's the game where they could break the chains and get a win. Sri Lanka and Australia have played 2 games with no wins but both of them have played fairly solid teams in India, Pakistan and South Africa.
Nothing but poor choice of player selection by the Australian Cricket Board. Another thing is injuries, as a few players are still recovering from it, then in the end the poor form of existing players. This World Cup might be one of the worst one for Australia team in the history of World Cup. After back to back loss they would need a good victory to comeback, they have a match against Srilanka on the 16th. A big win in that match would help the Australian team. |

I now think South Africa will win. Because Ekana cricket ground is not batting friendly. Still the South African players are batting very well. The highest score of this pitch is 255 runs. And the first innings average score is 188. And the way South Africa are batting now, they will easily score 300+ runs today. Both openers have already scored 100 runs. South Africa scored 100 runs in 18 overs without losing a single wicket. de Kock scored an unbeaten 61 off 57 balls. And Bavuma's collection is now 33 off 51 balls. Bavuma is batting a bit slow. He is not in good form. Slow batting is good for South Africa if they can play big innings. But I think that the striker rate should be kept at 85+.
It is still too early to come to a conclusion that South Africa would win. They have a good chance when compared with the Australian side, they too have a good batting lineup. They decided to bowl first after winning the toss, the reason being they wanted to chase a small target. Looking at Quinton de Kock's batting, I doubt Australia would be able to stop him from getting another century today. He already got one when he was playing in Delhi, of course, that was a batting pitch. Bavuma was struggling to score runs it is good he is out and now we will see Rassie van der Dussen. |

My guess was that Australia would win. But as South Africa batted brilliantly in the first match, I don't trust the Australian players. South African batsmen are in very good form.

Still, with no wickets lost, the southpaw is likely to deliver the target at a high score. South Africa collected 80 runs in 15 overs. Both de Kock and Bavuma are batting very responsibly. Australia lost their first match against India. They must win today if they want to stay in the top four of the table.
I checked the betting odds for the match between these two. The odds are favoring South Africa, Australia can only win if South Africa does not go beyond 300 today. What happened to Rohit Sharma suddenly;D. This guy looks like he is high on octane, zero pressure for him as he is going all in. He is the one who has scored most of the total for India. 77 runs from Rohit and 12 from Ishan Kishan out of a total of 96 runs. Rohit getting prepared for the next game against Pakistan. Shubhman Gill will be joining the squad when India plays against Pakistan on the 14th. BTW, found out that Rohit has become the only batter to hit the largest number of sixes in the World Cup.

I am really surprised with this change because if they wanted to bring an extra fast bowler then they should be replaced Shami since he got good record on this venue also for better compared to Shardul Takur as a bowler.
I don't think Afghanistan took batting first decision because they think they can defend against India, its due to their poor batting performance and their strong unit is bowling attack so they just went what will be the best option for them.
As if now AFG lost their 1st wicket to Bumrah.
There is nothing to be surprised by with this change, the pitch is a batting track. India needs an all-rounder who can bat in-depth and bowl that is why Shardul was onboarded and Ashwin was rested. I think the Indian management made the right decision as Shardul took a wicket. Afghanistan's decision to bat first is solely based on the pitch, they do have a good bowling attack. They believed that batting first would help them as in they would be able to give a good target to India. Unfortunately, it is not working as they expected as they are still short of the 250 mark. |

Indian bowling has been outstanding on a batting surface. I was watching Kuldeep bowling his last over and I was surprised to see him turning the ball. Sir Jadeja has not been able to dent the batting of the Afghanistan team. He was very successful against Australia where he took 3 wickets. Considering the experience of the Afghanistan team in a 50-over match, they are playing very well. I was not expecting them to get 230 or more runs with the kind of bowling attack they are facing. They have only 6 overs left with 5 wickets gone, Rashid Khan and Nabi are playing now. I am expecting some good hits from both the Afghanistan batters.

I watched the match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan today and it seemed ridiculous for a team like Sri Lanka to lose after giving a target of 345 with 2 full centuries and dismissing Imam-Ul-Haq and Babar Azam at early stage. This shows that this World Cup is full of surprises and India needs to be very much aware of the same and should be highly aware of each and every team and their players' capabilities to win each battle and bring the World Cup here. Rizwan was the reason why Pakistan was able to chase 345 runs. Of course Srilankan bowling was at its poorest form yesterday. Their fielding was not that good, furthermore it seems they took the match lightly. Their focus was to get Babar Azam as soon as possible and thereafter Pakistani batting would collapse. In general in most cases that is how Pakistani batting works as the team is very dependable on Babar. Yesterday was a complete different day for Pakistan. No one expected Rizwan to bat so brilliantly . |
