1081  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold coin on: August 01, 2023, 09:50:18 PM
Yes, the vast majority of Bitcoin investors expect Bitcoin to achieve a new ATH in 2025 and possibly cross 100-120k$.

Personally if I had some money I would buy Bitcoin, in fact I started the DCA strategy a while ago and will continue until Bitcoin achieves a new ATH.

I tried a lot of other coins but didn't get much. My personal experience has proven that Bitcoin is the most reliable and profitable coin in the long run.
It's true what you say. So far, bitcoin has proven that bitcoin is the most reliable coin and can be profitable in the long term. But people are picking up new coins they didn't know could improve or stay in place. And if you already own bitcoins right now, you have to hold onto them until things turn around and the price increases. But you can now buy more bitcoins because the price is currently discounted. So don't wait too long to start buying bitcoins or they will regret that it's too late to buy bitcoins.
If we think about holding long-term, Bitcoin is the best choice. But if think about just playing the market volatility, altcoins are there is give us more profit than Bitcoin. It is really all about our preferences but the advantage of choosing Bitcoin is that we can assure that years from now it grow unlike holding altcoins.

There are so many coins to hold but yes, this will also matter on how we manage them. If we can play the market so well, we can really make money there but if not, even investing in Bitcoin will give us losses as well.
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: August 01, 2023, 01:22:36 PM

However, we know how defensive Haney is, and if Prograis try to be the aggressor, I think it will be like Haney against Kambosos. Wherein Haney will have the upper hand as he will do the counter all night long. The only chance that Prograis is to hit Haney flush to win by ko as Haney doesn't have a good chin to begin with.

Good defense and timing in counterpunching are the best defense against a strong puncher Haney is so good at frustrating his opponent and accumulating points, that Prograis should find a way to get his punches in.

Haney is a boring fighter like Mayweather but his style gets the nod of the judges, judges score on hits and defense and that's what happens in his encounter against Kambosos, he cannot avoid Haney's counterpunching, I don't think Prograis is the fighter that will handle Haney's first loss.

That's just how he fights, and we have to accept it because it makes him effective in boxing. He may be considered boring, no question about that, but as long as he keeps winning, he will undoubtedly have more fights to come and more money to earn. Let's hope that he will have a good match with Regis Prograis, now that he is the challenger. If he wants to win convincingly, he needs to be more convincing in the ring, as we don't want to see a controversial fight like his previous one where some people thought he lost to Lomachenko.
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: August 01, 2023, 12:55:23 PM

If ever they will bring this rematch into the table, if both camps will agree, maybe it will take place.

Who knows if Spence will perform well and clear that excuses and convert it to a success, though seeing the fight the
winning chance might be slim. The level of fighting greatness from Crawford is way high compared with Spence, it
might be concluded if ever we hear an update with any negotiation about possible rematch.

Promoters would still make money in the rematch, so if both camps want to make it happen, there should be no problem in terms of profitability.

Although it was very evident how dominant Crawford was in the first fight, the outcome was still very entertaining, so the fans would still watch it.

This could be like a Pacman vs Morales situation, where Pacman lost in the first fight but came back in the next two fights to dominate Morales. So, let's not be too conclusive here; anything could change as Spence could figure out his mistakes and improve himself in the rematch, if it's going to happen.
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education and money as the key to Bitcoin adoption. on: July 31, 2023, 09:57:27 PM
Bitcoin awareness is not really the major problem of Bitcoin adoption because so many people are aware of Bitcoin but  the wrong information they receive daily by the government especially some of the politicians are the major reason why people are afraid to invest in Bitcoin even when they know that some of the informations are totally wrong.

Money is the key for Bitcoin adoption because without money we can do nothing but I think people have money but the fear of losing it has always been a major concern to them all because most people still see Bitcoin investment as a scam because of how the government has painted it in the ears of their citizens.
There are so many misinformations, FUDs, and scam issues that we heard online and in the newspaper making some people to doubts and remain uncertain. These are the big factors that stop them from having an interest. Well, of course, why should have to adopt Bitcoin if I was not sure? Definitely, we really need proper education in order to correct the wrong informations that we heard around us as it was a manipulating factor that affects our mindset Because as long as it was still there, uncertainties remain and the spread continues.
1085  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I buy now or I should still wait for the dip? on: July 30, 2023, 09:49:54 PM
Buying or investing it always on our preferred price. But I suggest not to wait for the dip as we never be going there and expect that until the bull season end. Besides, $30k is not really expensive compared to buying at $35k. We just think that we are moving forward to halving and the next is bull season, and even we can experience some price corrections but it never be low like we have in bear season. We just think that the price of Bitcoin 2 years from now is doubled (or even more) from the current price, meaning we are still in a huge profit if we can wait.
1086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll always tell people about bitcoin on: July 28, 2023, 09:12:47 PM
This days lot of bitcoiners are scared of introducing bitcoin to people because of they  do not want to be blame if the investment ends bad. Most people have lost good relationships with family and friends all because of introduction to financial investment with no profit and this made them to take a serious decision never to make any introduction about money to anybody again.  As for me I'll always introduce bitcoin to people because it is money, people needs money for better life.  It is my duty to tell about bitcoin to people and it is their decision to invest in it.

Because of the risk that is in bitcoin it won't stop me from telling people about bitcoin which will better their life if they found it interesting.
Well, I'm not sure how you tell people but honestly, I couldn't really imagine saying it is easy to educate someone who is not interested in one thing. Of course, you can just say - "hey you know Bitcoin? " Hey, this is what Bitcoin is all about". But what I was expecting from saying telling people is for them to understand clearly and educate them, not just by spreading the word Bitcoin without understanding. I could really assure you that no matter how good you are at telling people, rejections are really going to happen. I'm not afraid to be blamed but I just wanted that if I told someone, I was expecting that he would listen and follow what I say.
1087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: July 28, 2023, 02:21:23 PM
Being a responsible gambler is not a bad thing, and its necessary.
Imagine being too careless using your own hard earned money, that can be a big loss and frustrating.
We have to be more careful and consider every option to avoid big losses, if you can't gamble that much then don't do it. Don't be greedy, I know we all want to make money but in gambling, the more you rush it the more you lose the money. Just enjoy the process and enjoy the game, if you're lucky enough profit will come.
As long as we stick to our limitations, gambling is not a bad thing to do. But when it comes to the moment that we are spending more time and money, that was a sign that we are close to addiction. Addiction was not enjoyable anymore, we can never feel happiness if we win but what is on our minds is to win more - greediness had come. And the more we chase to win, the opposite things happen and we lose more. It is really all about proper budgeting which most gamblers fail to follow.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto EGG Meme Run to $1 on: July 28, 2023, 01:46:11 PM
I can't argue with you OP since that was your thought about this project but can't force us to believe your assumptions because meme coins can't be trusted nor it was a good investment. Whether it reaches $1 but it was not enough to change my mind from thinking that these meme projects are worthless. I was a long-term holder and I only invest in projects that have the potential long-term, not just in a few days and it will go.

You can do whatever your want but you can't expect that the majority will support your promotion.
1089  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading and gambling on: July 28, 2023, 01:17:26 PM
Are you saying that the bitcoin is base on luck?, if you are trading with bitcoin and have an investment on it you know how does it works first before you make your move because there's no person in a right mind make an investment to the things they don't know it's just like giving a free money, committing on it must need to have a knowledge and understanding so those information can serve to you as a guide and lesson what are the next thing you need to do, unlike gambling just a click away you are trying to risk without assurance if your winnings. It's a knowledge versus luck game with your statement of Bitcoin is like gambling.
Supposedly you are right but unfortunately, there are still a lot of people who are doing this. They invest blindly, they put money into scam projects and into investments that promise huge ROI but in the end, they got nothing other than losing their money. Usually, we become confident that investing in Bitcoin is just easy because that is what we usually heard from influencers. Well, we just know it was wrong when we are in actuality. Because trading can never be called Gambling, not in the sense that we are not relying on luck but we are working hard to earn and succeed.
1090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: July 28, 2023, 10:55:03 AM
Now we have 2 games which is in first game rain or shine vs meralco bots and we are all know that rain shine has a good standing they have the 8-2 which means they have a good record and their lineups is also good. And for Meralco we all know about them they can dominate any team once they have the momentum in the early quarter. So this is a good matchup between meralco and rain or shine.

It looks like Rain or Shine vs. Meralco Bolts is having a close game now. The 2nd quarter has ended and Meralco is leading by 5 points. This game is going to be fun to watch as both teams have a good standing. However, if you compare these two in the regular season, Meralco Bolts are the better team. But being on tour, weaker teams are usually stronger, so my guess is that ROS will win.

Based on https://pba.ph/standings, they have a record of ;

ROS 8(W)-2(L)
Bolts 6(W)-4(L)

The Bolts are still leading, but it's just a 4-point game. Actually, ROS managed to win the 3rd quarter as they outscored the Bolts by 3 points (21-18). Either team could win here because, in most scenarios of a close game in the 4th quarter, it's hard to predict the winner. I'm wondering, what was the spread of this game? Did @bisdak manage to place a bet?
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 28, 2023, 09:03:40 AM
Now the question will pop out. Will this affect the future of Bronny, especially in a long-term position? Sure he has his father to back him up to be signed in teams where he has power but there will be doubts after this.

In terms of which team would sign him, I'm sure they'll consider the implications and take measures to protect their investment. So, there's nothing to worry about on their side. I'm more concerned about Bronny being able to play in the NBA, as it has always been his father's dream to play with his son.

Well, hopefully what happen is not a hindrance to his goal in the NBA.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Another Good Source Of Motivation For You ... on: July 27, 2023, 11:28:25 PM
Because we never think about the future but rather choose to enjoy our life today and spend money as much as we can. Well, rich people can do that because they already have financial freedom and it was okay. But for those who are not, the idea of spending more on things that give back nothing like just spending on fancy things was a huge mistake. It was very unfortunate but can't force people to rethink their wrongdoings because what it is in their mind is that they only live once, - and they just wanted to enjoy and reward themselves for working hard even if it drains their savings.
1093  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie - advice? on: July 27, 2023, 12:40:07 PM
Reading books and watching online tutorials, well, they are enough already to learn but it was much better to have a mentor that guides you for a few days in trading. If we have a friend who already has an experience in trading, we approach them and gain ideas. Because we can't be good enough in trading just having all of those stuff but having an experience would give us more learning and ideas. Generally, we usually got caught up in applying it in live trading, we usually fail because of our emotions.
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: July 27, 2023, 11:51:06 AM
I couldn't imagine that there still a lot of people are relying on airdrops and thinking become lucky. In fact, so many discussions that talk about this and the response from hunters are the same - they get scammed, never paid, no value token.

Well, something we know is that developers usually launched their projects when the bull season is near. That is why we can see a lot of projects arise and offer rewards that could really attract hunters. Yet, we should also have to do research otherwise, we are wasting our time from them.
you might be stunned to see that there are so many people out there actually making their fortune out of airdrops, not to mention the latest arkham airdrops there were so many that gained massive money out of this by just simply having massive points from refferal and they already got paid thousands of dollars for that simple task, I think its all depends on your ability to determine which coin and token that are actually worth it to follow and for their tasks to be done and later get the rewards.
after all determining one that is of a good quality is quite hard enough.
I don't think they are so many but just a few hunters who have seen it and taken their time joining the program. Perhaps it was stunning to see some airdrops and developers that are good and give money to the participants but what we can say those huge number of hunters who are spending their time and promoting the projects but sadly get nothing in the end? Maybe I wasn't good at looking at them but I guess I don't want to do after participating in a lot of airdrops before and having no chance to sell them.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 27, 2023, 06:30:33 AM
They already gained valuable experience last season, so perhaps they will perform like the Kings, who made it to the playoffs and posed a significant challenge to the defending champions, the Warriors.

Yeah, that's right. They reached the play-in tournament, and nobody expected it to happen since they are rebuilding and competing in the West, where most of the NBA contenders are located. SGA led the team to success, and now that they have experience, they'll learn from it. Next season, they will likely improve, especially if SGA receives that contract; for sure, he will be very inspired to play for his team.

His stats last season were very impressive.

31.4 PPG
5.5 APG

1096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title on: July 27, 2023, 06:05:16 AM
@Kelvinid. Those are very accurate odds after the performance we have witnessed from Inoue against Fulton, I reckon. I have become convinced on the Japanese fighter. Inoue is like the young Pacman but with more knockout power in his hands.
I agree, he might not reach 8 division title as Pacman, but the way he is destroying everything that in his path, it's like Pacman when he was in the beginning of his career specially at lower weights. And Inoue can make another history, for Japan and then having won the unified title in bantamweight and super bantamweight in the 4 belt era.

However, he will be the first boxer in the history of the sport to be a unified champion in 2 weight divisions if he is victorious against Marlon Tapales. After this, it might be 3 unified championships if he again moves up to featherweight. Who are the big names there? I reckon all of the featherweight champions can be beaten by Inoue.

On Inoue not being very known to make an argument to bring him to Las Vegas, the promoters can make him the undercard for an event of Canelo or another very famous boxer.

I think Inoue can be called as undisputed champion if he ever beat Tapales because both boxers are holding 2 belts already, so Inoue would hold that four belts if he wins.

Quote
Junior featherweight (122 lbs.)
WBO: Naoya Inoue

IBF: Marlon Tapales

WBA: Marlon Tapales

WBC: Naoya Inoue

About the featherweight, it has four champions so Inoue might stay for a while in case he'll continue his domination.

Quote
Featherweight (126 lbs.)
WBO: Robeisy Ramirez

IBF: Luis Alberto Lopez

WBA: Leigh Wood

WBC: Rey Vargas*

1097  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to grow the bitcoin you have? on: July 26, 2023, 02:24:04 PM
How to grow the bitcoin you have without being involved in gambling or putting it in a custody wallet for APY. Is there any proven low risk method.
There has many way to grow Bitcoin. without proper knowledge a man cannot growing bitcoin. For start growing Bitcoin anyone need earn bitcoin at first. Then you can invest it on future trade. I think future trade is best way to increase Bitcoin. Many people earning huge fund from future trading. I also not agree with future trade but who are expert he will be able to profit from duture trading.
-trading
 - lending
 - pure investing
And suggest taking the best option which we think is suitable for us and if the ones that we already have deep knowledge. It is important that we have a good idea of what we have to do -like in trading which requires skill and the ability to analyze the market chart. And among these ways of earning, the easiest way to do this is to just invest - buy low, hold, and sell high. But this will only work for patient individuals.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 26, 2023, 12:19:19 PM
I would also bet on the Warriors next season. With CP3 on their roster, it will not be hard for them to score, as he is one of the best passers in the NBA. CP3, along with Curry and Thompson, will likely create plenty of open opportunities for scoring, and Curry won't tire easily since he won't have to carry the ball all the time.

I'm not sure if they will play him as a starter, but if they do, that's my perspective.
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 26, 2023, 11:34:56 AM
Yeah, we never thought that Fulton will be beaten to the punch, and I thought that he might be the first boxer that can give Inoue as serious run in the match. But Inoue is really that good, not just the quicker and faster puncher, but he has more power when he move to 122 lbs. So all the questions about his bringing his power to super bantamweight has been answered in this fight.

And most likely when Fulton as first felt the power of Inoue, he decided to go on the defense. And he tries to counter a faster boxer, and it's not going to work. We didn't see the technical prowess of Fulton because he has been intimidated, nor his body shots that he is known. On the other hand, Inoue is bringing everything including hitting Fulton in the body.

Until such time as Inoue has some trouble against his opponent, we can choose to bet on him, but for now, he is very dominant. He is in his prime and knocking down anyone who dares to fight him. So it's better to stick with the trend and not try to take a bigger risk by thinking he will lose. The good thing about Inoue is that despite having only a few months of training, he is still committed to fighting Tapeles this year. That's a good sign of a true warrior.

The hype of Fulton did not work,  Grin

Even if they hype Fulton, people would still favor Inoue because they will look at the fighter's performance. The fact that Inoue was the favorite despite being the challenger shows a big underestimation of Fulton's capabilities. The guy was so confident that he could successfully defend his title that he flew to Japan to fight Inoue. However, as usual with all of Inoue's opponents, the expectations of the majority of the fans did come true.

There's still hope for Fulton to become a champion. Maybe he will move up or choose to stay in the division, since I'm sure Inoue will move up once he successfully unifies the belts.
1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To Understand the Potential of BTC, What we Must Know? on: July 26, 2023, 06:41:16 AM
To understand the Potential of Bitcoin, it is also to find how important it is in our life and on our daily activities otherwise, we can't see any appreciation of it.

What we must know;
- do people are using it? Or just for investment?
Because we already know that Bitcoin is a good investment but it wasn't just like considering that it was created as an alternative currency, therefore, we use this not only for investment but as a currency as well. Or we really don't get what is this meant for.
