1081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you support bitcoin as Global reserve currency? on: June 01, 2023, 08:41:35 AM
My concern is the volatility of Bitcoin because create a havoc if the reserves value keeps pump and dump since reserves should be stable. Also, Bitcoin price will be pump hard just to convert all the reserve to Bitcoin since it’s not same with fiat that government will just print money and gold with unlimited supply. Bitcoin is scarce, I wonder how far will the government will purchased Bitcoin since it will surely pump the price to the roof while no one might sell their holdings in the future due to the demand.

This is a good idea for us Bitcoin holder but I doubt government will trust decentralized asset with high volatility as reserve.
1082  Economy / Services / Re: Utopia P2P Ecosystem 💎 | Review Campaign 🔎| Participate Now! | Get paid in BTC on: June 01, 2023, 02:38:05 AM
My Review of Utopia Ecosystem

Installation and First Login
I downloaded and installed the app smoothly on my desktop. I'm using a Windows 10 i7 7th gen processor with 16 GB of ram. I created a wallet and stored my private key then I manage to enter the wallet to read the brief welcome summary. This summary is very helpful to understand easily the functionality of the wallet because the wallet has a lot of features which normal users can't understand.

Chat feature
While waiting for my 5CRP to arrive in my wallet. I go to the chat of the wallet for my requirements on Utopia Free Raffle which I win back to back first place in the last 2 rounds. I have fun using the chat because the user is very helpful and insightful. I manage to have a friend that I can play with on poker games.

Games
I hope that Utopia can add play with a bot with their poker so that users can play and I try the game without other people. I think the reason why there's always no activity on the poker table is that people don't have a reason to stay since no one in there. With bot players, It can make some people stay while still waiting for other players.

I encounter some bugs too that the table that I created still remains active while I already leave the table. It stays there for more than a minute as you can see on the screenshot below.

Exchange
Since I don't know someone to transfer my CRP for a test, I decided to just send it on the exchange so that I can try the crypton exchange. I'm surprised by how quick and easy to create an exchange account since it only requires my public key and a verification email on my Umail.

The exchange has a huge volume and liquidity which is ideal for trading because of the small price spread. I noticed too that they have an ongoing airdrop at that time for 3 traders that do a 100$ trade every 3 hours so I decided to add more USDT to be qualified. I didn't manage to win but it's still good because I manage to try the deposit function of exchange from the exterior wallet aside from Utopia wallet.

Everything went smoothly because I manage to withdraw my funds from my crypton exchange to my exterior wallet.

Conclusion:
Utopia P2P Ecosystem is a full package for crypto users because it offers almost everything crypto people need such as wallet, social, exchange, marketplace, mining and many more. I'm sure that this project will succeed in due time because the project is a gem. I'm planning to hold a good bag of CRP when I get my job salary. Thanks for this opportunity to try and review this amazing project!
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: May 31, 2023, 03:17:55 PM
I can see through what article aims. Logic must be the most important part of gambling. When someone bets or gambles, he should be able to calculate results. Mathematics is a must for sure. Wheb you see someone only chasing his/her luck, you will see that person is not good gambling personality. Recording data of bet is obviously another best thing to do because there is no better way to measure chances. Its first party data received. You can measure your weaknesses through.
Yes, in gambling, bets must use logic and of course take everything into account using mathematics so that what we spend can be proportional to the profit we get because if not then gamblers will never have experience and insight in playing. gamble.
Whereas in gambling, you don't only use a certain amount of money to bet, but you also have to use reason to calculate it. That way, gamblers can be said to be professional gamblers.
I like what you're saying but it's very rare that I meet gamblers who have that kind of thinking.

I understand the use of mathematics in some games like poker to determine the probability of winning based on the current hand but most of the games in the casino nowadays only rely on luck and mathematical computation will not gonna give you an advantage. Sportsbook might logic be applicable but the rest doesn't have any pattern of winning so there's no logical explanation on how to win aside from being lucky.

Bankroll management doesn't increase the chance of winning but only increases your bankroll survivability through a cautious bet.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Behavioural signs that suggest you are Addicted to Gambling on: May 31, 2023, 01:42:52 PM
  • Preoccupation with gambling.
  • Having difficulty in controlling, cutting back, or stopping gambling despite several attempts.
  • Borrowing money to gamble.

Do you agree with those behaviours? If not then you can suggest some, that can be added to this topic.

I agree with these 3 behaviour because a gambling addict will always find a way to gamble so that they will not the enjoyment that they get on winning like an addiction to a substance. You can add the behaviour of lack of sleep due to gambling since most of gambling addict has sleep deprivation due to overthinking on profit or losses.

  • The urge to increase wagers to achieve the same level of excitement.
  • Lying about gambling activities.

I disagree with this because a normal gambler that seeks more fun is not an addiction. addiction is repetitive playing without any self-control over when to stop. Also lying about gambling is on a case-to-case basis. Gambling is not accepted in the culture of other countries, especially those in religiously inclined countries.
1085  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May Mga Influencer Ba Tayo Na Tutok Sa Cryptocurrency? on: May 31, 2023, 01:28:13 PM

1086  Economy / Economics / Re: Fake support? on: May 31, 2023, 11:18:49 AM
Now china is now taking the biggest approach to embracing web3 and support some crypto projects, since china has banned Bitcoin over 6 times in the past do you think this is another fake move?

I know that Hongkong is the soul location that's doing all this crypto thing, do you think that the whole country (china) will benefit from this or this case will be that Hong Kong will be the location for crypto things?

Crypto is not all about Bitcoin, They can ban Bitcoin while allowing other cryptocurrency since they are looking for a way centralized or regulate the token. Bitcoin is pure decentralized that’s why China hates it since they can’t control it. China doesn't hate the idea of Blockchain so I will not surprised by their recent move but don't expect they will support Bitcoin with this news since they are pertaining to their own crypto and not the decentralised one.

There is no way China a communist country will allow Bitcoin to be use by its citizen while they can’t monitor all the transaction happening via P2P.
1087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: May 31, 2023, 11:12:17 AM
To make this happen, you need to discipline yourself up, make sure you set some rules on how you will handle gambling every day and how much you are willing to risk on gambling every day or else you will end up in the gutter, with full regrets.

Daily gambling is like playing with fire. It's fun but there's a risk to lose everything with the daily exposure on risk. Human mind is very unpredictable which can make someone addicted to gambling to risky bet when something triggered to be greeedy such as consecutive losses.

That's if you are not even addicted to gambling already, a addicted gambler always have one goal in mind, '( I have to make back all I have lost ), this is where the beginning of the end begins.

This is right but sometimes gambler is not just chasing losses but also chasing profit that there is no boundaries. They will keep gambling either lose or win because they are always chasing something since gambling gave us opportunity to earn or loss in a short period of time.
1088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the most significant trading sacrifice you believe you have made? on: May 30, 2023, 10:03:44 PM
If you have been full-time into trading for one to three years, what has been the greatest sacrifice you've made to become a successful trader? And did it pay off?

Someone I know who a seven-figure trader is now made the sacrifice of moving into a shared apartment with a friend just to save money. Another person, who had previously started a logistics company, sold off his trucks and used the money for trading. Another person had to pay to be mentored. He did this because the mentor said people do not appreciate free things, and if he were not making the sacrifice of paying out of pocket, he probably would not be serious and would take it for granted. These people cited in here went on to become successful traders. It paid off.

Sacrificing something just to make you anle trade is a bit questionable act because trasing especially crypto involved a lot of risk due to the crypto volatility. I can’t picture out how the guy that owns a logistic company sold his truck for trading while it's the main tool for his business running. Why not use some part of his company profit on trading rather than selling valuable asset just to put the money on risky investment.

I will understand if the sacrifice involves savings from cutting expenses but selling valuable asset that provides profit is an ass way of getting more losses since that person will chase profit just to recover immediately his loss on selling his property that generates income.
1089  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: May 30, 2023, 09:53:02 PM

Just wondering if your list includes the consideration of the KYC data storage as per the topic? Because I only see that list only ranks the casino KYC through their implementation. High ratings for those who didn't required it that much while low rating to those who strictly required it.

...//::::
I don't mind submitting KYC as long as the casino is reputable.

This is the point and we all agree on that, but look at this example that he just posted, quote, can it be reliable?  Many only look at promotions.

-

The casino that he use for example is not reputable and obviously a mediocre casino that offers too good to be true promotion just to attract players. @lionheart pertains to casino that already have a brand here in the forum.
1090  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Doing scam for Using AI Tool in Signature Campaign on: May 28, 2023, 04:02:26 PM
Another example that the signature campaign BM's should work on their onboarding process and to save themselves of such scams. A good idea would be to hire an individual only to detect whether participants under their signature campaign are using AI.

The pay grade for a bounty manager is only enough for them while adding extra employee that will check regularly each post will just an additional cost. Royse have a bounty program dedicated for busting this kind of cheating. I think it's already enough to bust them using the payment of the cheater.

I admit that I was wrong. I used AI ChatGPT at first I didn't know it was strictly banned in forums. But these few days I just found out, coupled with this incident I also realized that what I did was wrong and fatal.

Using of AI tool is not ban in the forum. You just violated the rules set by your manager for the campaign that you are currently working. It's up to the manager on how he will view this case especially the tagging. But use of AI is not banned in the forum.
1091  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run near already? on: May 28, 2023, 03:50:19 PM
The CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao just tweeted and I quote, he said that;

“CCTV (China Central Television) just broadcasted crypto. It's a big deal. The Chinese speaking communities are buzzing. Historically, coverages like these led to bull runs.

Not saying past predicts the future. And not financial advice.”

If you browse thoroughly CZ twitter profile. He is always very bullish since his business is revolving the crypto market. You will feel like it was always a bull run despite the market is crashing because CZ keeps a positive post on every news.

Those that have experienced the bull run before, does events like this leads to bull run or signifies that bull run will happen anytime soon?

And those that haven’t bought bitcoin, does this signify that they need to necessitate buying some now before it’ll be too late?

As explained above. CZ tweets is a perma bullish. It doesn't signify anything but one thing is true that crypto currency is always on bullrun if we view the larger picture. The crypto marketcap grown a lot compared when crypto is just new.

You will know that it's already a bull run if all shitcoin is pumping hard without any news supporting it.
1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 28, 2023, 12:13:05 PM
One of the most memorable comebacks of all time and if it happens in game 7, I think that will be the greatest buzzer-beater of all time. Now that they finally made it to game 7 despite all their struggles in the first 3 games, I think they deserve to win the ECF this year, and too bad for the Miami Heat that they only have one chance to turn off the hype on the Boston Celtics because if they cannot do that, they will gonna wear the embarrassment of this century as the worse team to play the NBA playoffs.

To be fair, Boston is the one that saving from embarrassment here since they are the 2nd seed on Eastern Conference and they are close to be sweep. There is nothing to be ashamed for Heat since they are least expected to be on that spot if they didn't magically eliminate Bucks.

The series is still not over for heat and they show a sign of redemption on the last quarter after Jimmy Butler clutch shots. Jimmy already gained the confidence that he is missing since game 4. I think Miami should fix the role of Bam, probably use different player since he surely not in perfect form in both offense and defence. He is committing a lot of error and no sign of improvement even until the end.

1094  Other / Archival / Re: [BIG LIST] Crypto Debit Cards on: May 28, 2023, 07:35:34 AM
This is cool because the funds will be directly deducted directly from the ledger balance.
Someone will correct me if i am wrong, but I don't think that crypto will be deducted directly from your Ledger but instead you will have to transfer it to ledger card first, meaning that crypto is not in your custody anymore.

Thanks for the correction, The front description makes me overlook about that it’s direct transfer from Ledger but it turns out to be ledger live. I just read full description and it turns out that it needs to be top-up via ledger live.

Correct. You can do everything from the ledger live app, but you still have to top up your balance.
And Ledger Live is buggy as hell and probably the worst thing about the Ledger. Well, at least it was before all that drama about recovery thing.

I personally stopped using Ledger Live app few years ago and now using Electrum instead.

I thought that the problem is with my computer. My balance doesn’t sync even though ledger live recorded already the blockchain transaction on history. All thing is messy too when I try to connect my new ledger to the ledger live since it still detects my old device account despite I already reset it.
1095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or banking investment? on: May 28, 2023, 07:26:09 AM
I believe bitcoin and banks are well renounced investment platforms but many people prefer bitcoin investment despite is very risky because of high demands and rising price interest and banks on the other hand saves millions of people finances all over the world yet their investment interest is very small but less risky than bitcoin. Which do you preferred your money to be save in as investment? Bitcoin or bank! What's your reason?

Given the recent commotion about multiple banks collapsing that makes customer funds inaccessible and probably loss. I doubt Bitcoin is more risky than the bank. Bitcoin price grows on an astronomical level ever since it was created while banks is plummeting as the inflation rises since they are using fiat that has unlimited supply.

Bitcoin is only risky if you didn’t know how to hold during bear season but if you are just a solid holder. You wouldn’t even feel that risk since the price keeps growing long term. There’s a lot of thread about bank vs bitcoin or fiat vs bitcoin every year since I created my forum account. Until now that Bitcoin price already grow on this figure still there’s a doubt but probably this is from the guys that new on Bitcoin.

Check the history and see for yourself how great Bitcoin compared to banks in terms of real risk.

1096  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your favorite season to trade cryptocurrency? on: May 27, 2023, 03:49:16 PM
Which season is better for trading, the bull or the bear?

Bull season ofc. It's not because of harvesting but there's a lot of new project mooning that is a very good source of profit. Every new project on the launchpad with presale usually sold out since people has a lot of money entering into crypto just to ride the crypto hype. Everyone is positive about the bull season that's why it's my favourite season the bears season even though the bear season is the perfect time to buy the dip.

Bear season involves a lot of risk since crypto project can die due to low source of funds so buying the dip is useless if the project is dead.
1097  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stay Awav From BKEX ( Warning ) on: May 27, 2023, 02:51:25 PM
Hello everyone
BKEX.com using various tactics to defraud users' assets in 2023. they manipulated Future contract funding fee, As most of you know you have to pay funding fee every 8 hour But Bkex has increased fundiing fee up to 2000% EVERY 8 Hours, they also banned me from their telegram chat. Here is an example:
Binance Normal funding fee is 0.01% every 8 hours But Bkex increased it  to 0.1 % every 8 hour or even more. Difference between 0.01 and 0.1 is 1000%

Example if you open 9000$ a long position on binance with 5x Leverge, you pay 4$ every 8 hour = 12 $ perday. Normal
If you opened the same amount on BKEX they take 40 $ every 8 hour = 120$ per day, somedays even more.
Stay Away from this exchange.

I'm well aware of the funding fee because I'm using it to get a micro profit based on the trend. What I don't understand is why in the hell they will charge 2000% every 8 hours. It's like you already owed the exchange with these charges because beyond your capital. Maybe you are confused about your unrealized PnL resulting from your high-leverage trading losses because sometimes the funding rate can give a huge impact on your position if you are at lose with high leverage.

I'm not familiar with BKEX which normally I agree with your accusation but your percentage figure doesn't make sense at all because your position will automatically liquidated when they charge that kind of fee.
1098  Other / Archival / Re: [BIG LIST] Crypto Debit Cards on: May 27, 2023, 09:45:53 AM
I'm not sure if this card was already suggested here but I just notice that Ledger offers CL crypto cards for Ledger Wallet owners when I browse the Ledger Live. This card is available worldwide with 2% cashback every month. This is cool because the funds will be directly deducted directly from the ledger balance.

https://www.ledger.com/cl-card

Also, If this will not trouble you, Adding the benefits of the cards on the list such as rebates percentage will be very helpful to choose a better crypto card.
1099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which YouTube influencers to counter trade? on: May 27, 2023, 09:30:07 AM
Hi, I was wondering which YouTube bitcoin influencers/traders/presenters are good examples for terrible bitcoin analysis that can give me an opposing view to some of the other adept influencers? That I could perhaps try to counter trade their advice?

At the moment I kind of think IvanonTech the Russian dude is pretty convincing to counter trade, what do you folks reckon?

I don't understand the logic of counter-trade as a reference to your own trade. Why do you need to trouble yourself on finding someone spouting useless analysis when you can just create your analysis for your own trade? I will understand if this is about random shitcoin since most of the influencers is always bullish about it while the price keeps dumping but it's very risky when it comes to Bitcoin because you might feed the right analysis but you place an opposite trade just because you are countering his analysis for your trade. It's better to have your own rather that rely on someone just to counter it.
1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: May 26, 2023, 05:12:22 PM
Yes, thanks for the advice, maybe I'll try it at some point when I'm bad at gambling and when I experience a big loss.
But it seems that slot games at high volatility providers can be relied on more by some gamblers because I still often hear about gamblers getting big wins from high volatility slots.

Due to the nature of high volatility slot games. It’s normal to see some players still winning big time on it since we have different winning chance rate while this type of slot are usually paying big time when you trigger the lucky spin for that profit.

It's just that I think this type of slot game requires quite a large amount of capital so that it will be difficult for us who are small gamblers to play and get big wins in high volatility slots.

This not true. You can still pay it if you have low bankroll if you will just use the minimum bet and currency that will make the minimum bet lower than normal. The difference of high volatility slot games is there’s only few win per spin unlike mid range volatility that returns some of your bet through small profit but your luck is still the same when we are talking about chance of hitting huge multiplier.

So you can still use this high volatility slot if you have low bankroll by just setting a low bet.
