Literally impossible with configuration, even if you disable the service, disable it in group policy editor and nuke it in the registry, delete update specific system files, whatever, win 10 will still update.

Those tricks on Google don't work for all Windows versions. I've tried all tricks:- Changes in the registry - Changes in the services - Changes in the policies - ... Nothing seemed to work. I took the easy way out and am now using this: http://www.site2unblock.com/win-updates-disabler/Works like a charm. Report back 4-5 days and let us know if it sticks? I installed this program on januari 9th. Haven't had a single update yet. I have the luxury of checking my rig multiple times every hour - My miner software does NOT start automatically at boot so I would have noticed if my system restarts. |

go to Run
type "Services.msc" - Hit Enter
Scroll down to Windows update and click on it.
Change the tab to "Disabled", Click Apply.
I haven't had mine restart yet since.
I've already told you guys, the only real solution is to disable it in group policy, I don't understand how's that not working for some of you...
I'm a IT student in college: I know my way around policies, services and the registry. I tried it, it doesn't work on every Windows version. Really, it doesn't. |

Did something happen with mining this week? My 3 1070 Ti's were making a measely $12 a day and now it's closer to $5? (total) (AHashPool)

Why even bother to mine with a few minres and earn a couple of dollars a day. Mining is only worth it if you can build a big farm with a lot of capital. Most of you guys are better off working a regular job and just buying crypto.
You are absolutely right. I got ROI for my rig last year. I've decided to keep mining untill the miner dies. I don't want to invest more money in crypto, so that's why I don't buy. Let us hope there's a future for bitcoin, and that it goes up in value soon. |

My 2.6k rig (1080 ti, 1080, 1080, 1070) brings in 6 euros a day. That's ROI (or BE or whatever you want to call it) of 416,6666666666667 days. Without talking about the electricity costs - how high or low they may be. I can't really be positive about those numbers. Don't know what planet you live on, but mining conditions at this time -and we are ALL in it for the money, even those who say they are not- are terrible.  Are you stupid for mining with all GPUs??? I'm talking ASICs genius... Don't call me dumb when you admit you'll never breakeven I was speaking theoretically. I BE last year. Now I'm in the what you call the "ALL PROFIT" zone.. Pretty crappy. That's why I'm so negative about mining. And I'm not the only one here. |

Hi all, I'm not a GPU mining expert, I started maybe 10 month ago with ETH mining using claymore a couple of months with a GTX 1060 the na GTX 1070, then stopped when I changed those GPU for a GTX 1080 Founders (shittiy cooler). 1 month ago I replaced that cooler for a liquid one and now I'm back in biz. I started with Nicehash as minin ETH with a 1080 is not good apparently. I maybe made 0.005BTC between JAN 21 and FEB 17, I'm a gamer before all so I mine when I'm not playing.
I then switched to using nemosminer to mine zpool mayne a week ago. To my surprise, I'm only seeing poor BTC return. Like 0.001 a week. There comes my question.
Am I doing something wrong with nemosminer? I just downloaded the standard 2.5 package, put my wallet address in there , changed the GPU settings for 1 card and done. I'm using those algos :

I have this same issue calling the API using YiimpLogger, many times the api gives the same data for 2-3 hours, showing 0 profit for those hours. Its an issue with the API/load and not NMinerPlus
