1121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin a sure legacy on: September 23, 2020, 11:52:04 PM
Bitcoin has created a legacy because it has revolutionized the way that society handles money. Bitcoin can transcend generations and we are committed to doing so. Bitcoin can reach people without banks as well as people who own all banking services.
Bitcoin can be your own bank, you can have bitcoin at any time anywhere in the world.
You can save Bitcoin for the future of your family and that example transcend for generations.
If we believe it, we can make Bitcoin always strong, a leader and the most popular.
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: September 23, 2020, 09:15:01 PM
I am comfortable with the current Bitcoin fees. I think that if the network gets congested like Ethereum we will see a rise in fees. But there will always be someone who creates solutions to solve this problem and we need to wait for these solutions to arrive because of the work that developers take to launch their products.
If we had a rise in Bitcoin fees, I think we should assume it and demand and support prompt solutions.
1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New breed of bitcoin investors? on: September 23, 2020, 09:55:34 AM
Although the survey sample is small, it reveals positive results for Bitcoin. I am also interested that Bitcoin has a strong and growing community. I often do my own Twitter search and follow accounts of related personalities and the community is authentic. Despite the circumstances we are experiencing, we have taken Bitcoin to the best position with a good perspective towards the future.
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs Surge As There Are Now Over 10,000 Bitcoin ATMs Worldwide on: September 23, 2020, 01:19:46 AM
I am pleased with the increase in the installation of ATMs around the world, which indicates that user demand is growing. These are good signs that Bitcoin and cryptos are growing in the knowledge of new users. If someone does not know about Bitcoin they will learn what it is by seeing a user operating an ATM and that will be the beginning for any crypto enthusiast.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Dade to open Casinos and Restaurants for the third time. on: September 21, 2020, 12:56:48 AM
It is understandable how in the USA they try to reopen their businesses despite the fact that they are dealing with the worst pandemic. According to what was read in this article published on August 31, this new reopening of the Casinos is being taken with more supervision and enforcing the protocol to avoid possible infections.

As long as the health controls are duly followed, I think that they may contain the virus and there will also be more immune response. Because they will learn to live with the virus as long as the Covid19 vaccine is available.
1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big companies have started investing in bitcoin as a safe asset on: September 19, 2020, 11:57:50 PM
Congratulations on this great company in your country that decided to invest in Bitcoin. It is something that we are noticing in some parts of the world. I also wish like you that it is an escalating response so that other companies want to invest in Bitcoin.
I coincidentally found this link worth reading.

1127  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump's Economy or Biden’s Economy - which version is better. on: September 19, 2020, 10:22:50 PM
It is not an easy choice.

If I had the opportunity to vote in the USA, I would vote for Biden because now the USA needs a President of the consensus who listens to his executive cabinet and all citizens. I think Americans have lost confidence in Trump because of all the mistakes he has made and they no longer tolerate the social problems that afflict them.
1128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use BTC to generate passive income like ERC20 tokens? on: September 19, 2020, 09:06:22 PM
I have also felt a bit jealous to see that there are projects that offer passive income through yield farming, staking, lending without losing their custodial as you mention and there are few offers for Bitcoin.

If you choose centralized platforms for this purpose, it would be the lowest return compared to other cryptos.

I think it's time to develop a program like this for Bitcoin holders in order to earn returns and encourage people to have more bitcoins.

1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: September 19, 2020, 07:21:10 PM
This thought is totally correct and motivating. Hope some will follow this advice. In particular, I put it into practice whenever I can with the idea of helping my nephews in their education in a few years. Also when they are of legal age I will teach them how to use a bitcoin wallet and make money with bitcoin. I hope that by that time we will have better Bitcoin-based solutions.
1130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Lockdown in every country on: September 19, 2020, 06:54:36 PM
When I need cash I look for a P2P exchange platform where I can sell my Bitcoin at the best price and safely. And I can also see that there is good activity in trade with my compatriots. There is a good reference of Venezuelans with a high volume of trade in localbitcoin that has been reviewed by specialized media, which indicates that they are using Bitcoin to protect their capital.
For my part I can say that Bitcoin has served me as a means of payment due to my signature and also as savings.
1131  Economy / Economics / Re: Brazil largest investment bank just created a 100% cryptocurrency backed fund on: September 19, 2020, 12:06:55 AM
This is good news for Brazil and for the entire community because this is how Bitcoin is showing that it is a reliable asset for investors. Now we can assure that these large investors will create their businesses to lead the Bitcoin-based economy, I hope. In greater detail I would like to know more because Brazil is my neighbor because I live in Venezuela.
1132  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: September 18, 2020, 11:51:05 PM
As my income is based on Bitcoin I can confess that they serve to pay my bills I can even help pay some of my grandmother's bills. Would I need the government to give me the universal basic income? Yes, because I receive lower income. Adjusting my income I could save more in Bitcoin and invest to improve my quality of life and help others if it is within my reach.
1133  Economy / Economics / Re: Enough with BITCOIN SAVE us or the economy on: September 18, 2020, 06:55:14 PM
Since I have been a member of Bitcointalk, the only income I have been receiving is in tokens that at some point I have exchanged for ether, tether and Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the best way I have managed to get to my local currency because there is more volume than others, especially now that the price of gas is very high due to the high demand for deFi.

If I support my family of 4 members. In addition to a dog, 3 parrots and a macaw. It means that Bitcoin works well for me, I have been able to manage my expenses in a country that has hyperinflation like Venezuela.

With regard to government aid for the pandemic in my family we received ~ $ 20. I should add ~ $ 40 for my signature is all I receive in the month. Why not encourage massive adoption with Bitcoin? It is possible. Because just like me there are families that are surviving in the middle of this pandemic with Bitcoin.
1134  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid economic impact - How can Bitcoin help to boost global economy? on: September 17, 2020, 11:42:40 PM
I want to say that Bitcoin could help us reestablish the economy, maybe not everyone considers it but at least some good part.

If it has been useful for our community with it we have gained some benefit. Now is the time to be ambassadors for Bitcoin where we live. We will have many challenges such as that people have confidence and learn to use them in their finances.

Think for a moment about the exchange platforms, they are designing rewards programs for us to leave our bitcoin or any crypto on them. They are realizing that Bitcoin is so valuable that it can boost our crypto economy and what we need is to gain more space because if we do not do it with the support of Bitcoin there will be another that will.
1135  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: September 17, 2020, 07:12:25 AM
As an exporting country of food products and noticing the increase in the prices of these rubles is worrying for anyone.

In my country we have inflation and prices in all sectors have been increasing, especially in this time of pandemic. Like you, I am also concerned about the increase in food prices because it affects the most vulnerable people, and without employment.

I hope that we will overcome this pandemic soon because there will be famine in countries with high poverty rates.
1136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing your Crypto in Exchanges is better than using Cold Wallets! on: September 17, 2020, 12:49:13 AM
I do not keep my Bitcoin and crypto on exchanges for fear of security. It is true that these platforms are designing strategies so that users earn interest if they leave their funds in it.
I know the high level of security of Binance, Hotbit and KuCoin of their platforms but I have not yet dared to leave my funds and participate in these programs.
1137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The acceptance of cryptocurrency worldwide on: September 16, 2020, 02:34:48 AM
When we got started in cryptocurrencies we were fascinated by being able to transact on global exchanges and then send funds to our bank accounts.
Something that with traditional sites was very tedious and inaccessible for some.

The freedom to manage your funds is great thanks to cryptocurrencies is OP's wish for all countries and future generations for which I agree with his thinking.
1138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance sued for money laundering over stolen bitcoin. on: September 15, 2020, 11:38:16 PM
Indeed, the stolen Bitcoin was divided into 7 thousand transactions in different accounts, taking advantage of the minimum withdrawal of 2 BTC every 24 hours.

Perhaps if with a security mechanism that detects the IP address of these transactions, the laundering of funds could be detected.

The accusing party alleged that it warned Binance in time and that it was negligent and could prevent the criminal act. Only the result of the investigation remains if Binance was able to prevent it and pay the lawsuit or demonstrate its good procedure.
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India looking to Re-ban Bitcoin on: September 15, 2020, 09:50:23 PM
I also disagree with the new ban on cryptocurrencies in India it is utter nonsense. According to the article, one of the problems is to avoid the proliferation of frauds. But that could be solved if the government accepts cryptocurrencies and educates people not to be victims of these scams.

Sooner or later the government will have to give in and give cryptocurrencies a chance as other nations have accepted.

A transformation with currencies, banking and finance will be noticed when China launches the digital Yuan, propelling the economy into the digital age.
1140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Serious question about Bitcoin. Is it a reliable and stable investment? on: September 15, 2020, 01:22:44 AM
Bitcoin is a risky investment due to its volatility and in order not to suffer losses, it is necessary to know how to manage its trends. If the investment was made in the month of July 2019 when this thread started, the price of Bitcoin was around ~ $ 10,978 only on a few occasions the price has been exceeded. Expert traders could generate profits with this investment combined with other cryptos.
