1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 09, 2023, 06:51:14 PM
So it still depends on the country? because other countries allow 18 and above, but to others it is 21. Though it is really better to be  21 because we are mature enough at that time, this again depends on the law. Even though the risk is still present, meaning all of us can get addicted no matter what our age is, having this age limit is best because we know that those teens are very prone to addiction and easily get influenced by others.
more clearly if someone who starts gambling when they are over 18+ they have better self-control compared to minors who are very vulnerable to emotions that cannot be controlled, causing addiction. this age limit is actually not very successful in preventing minors but especially for online gambling but for physical gambling the age limit will really help minors avoid gambling.
because if in a physical casino when entering a gambling place you will always be asked for the identity of gambling security but for online casinos minors can use fake data to still be able to gamble.

Actually people that are 18 ain't mentally much different than 15 y.o. people. I know how dumb I was when I was 18 and I can tell there wasn't a great difference with my 15 years old self. So just because a person is over 18 doesn't mean he will make wise choices instantly.

Most people stay dumb till their 30's and some people stay dumb forever till they die.

On the other hand I've seen 15 y.o. kids that are way smarter than most adults. These kids were able to think and act like an adult. It is like they were living their 2nd or 3rd life... But let's be honest most people ain't like that.

Yes, that's quite funny mate and I definitely agree to the words you are saying because that is true. I also don't feel the difference when I was still 15 years old and even when I'm already 20 years old, I may have a bit of improvement but my priorities and mindset are somehow the same. Everything are almost the same because even a 20 years old can still be called a teenager, not by term but by choices that they made.

Hence why casinos and online casinos are requiring the gamblers to be at least 21 years old and above because by that time, most people do know how to weigh some things.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 09, 2023, 06:31:00 PM
I thought this fight wouldn't happen because there's no hype about this match in my social medias, even though this is an unification fight. The hype of Tank vs Garcia is way more higher than Crawford vs Spence.

This will happen. There isn't much hype on social media because both fighters are focused on their training, and they aren't trash-talking each other like Garcia does. This kind of fight is what we've been waiting for—a unification bout where it's hard to predict the winner since their skills are almost 50-50.

Don't worry, once the fight begins, all eyes will be focused on it. With both boxers being KO artists, one punch could end the fight.

Right, Tank vs Garcia is very different though, I mean the hype is really huge and PPV reaches more than 1 million. And I remember that we have discussed speculations about how big this fight it in terms of PPV and if I remember it correctly, we did somewhat agree that the numbers could be around 300,000-500,000 buys. But we will see.

It's getting closer, I can sense on some boxing forums that the hype is building already.

I also read some comments of former opponents of this two boxers, like Porter and they have given their own opinions about this fight.

That is quite normal and expected when it comes to big fights like this, famous boxers and analyst will always try and give their own predictions about the outcome of the fight but none of that will matter as even to themselves they cannot predict exactly what will happen to their own fight. So, it all boils down on Crawford and Spence on how will they figure this fight.

Anyway:
Quote
The WBA has made ‘regular’ 147-lb champion Eimantas Stanionis mandatory for the winner of the Errol Spence Jr vs. Terence Crawford fight on July 29th.

1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 09, 2023, 05:48:23 PM
I know this is a joke. Elon can't fight Mark anyway. Because Mark has a really fit body and does sports regularly. On the other hand, Musk does not have a good body. Also, I've seen him smoke pot before on a radio show. Elon is more witty and smarter. But he doesn't stand a chance against Mark. I think he knows that too. That's why he's only bringing this up as a joke. I don't think they will ever fight. But this issue will probably continue to be on the agenda for a while in the world of magazines.
I have a different opinion that Elon Musk has a better chance of this actually happening.
From his body shape, I'm sure Elon musk has greater strength than Mark, even though Elon musk has never smoked, but for this match, not only health but physical strength is also very influential.
Another thing that I can predict if this match actually happens I think Mark will not be able to beat Elon musk with a smaller body.
No you are not that different because I see there's also a few users who have voted for Elon Musk and you all have the same impression. The first thing that you guys have noticed is the physical appearance of the contenders. It's already in our psychology that a big person do already has a bigger strength although sometimes this isn't true and there's also small guys out there who have more strength because they work out or have been involved in a strenuous activity.

Another factor we are looking to is the age. it is when the person is young we think they are more stronger but again this is sometimes wrong. The older age person usually have more experience so they are superior than the younger person.

Ok but what you are describing is going down to the actual state of the body no matter what the age is. If someone works out five times a week and takes lessons in martial arts two times a week, that person is probably kicking the ass of everyone who is a couch potato even when there are twenty years of age between the two people. If you only look at the weight and height I think that Musk has an advantage and we don't know for certain whether he is working out or not and whether he has taken any martial arts lessons recently. These special cases don't fit into the normal comparison category of course. But all things equal in terms of training and fitness, height and weight are both an important factor.

Well, if we will bet for a fight between a man who took some lessons in martial arts and trained for at least five times a week vs a man that is couch potato but let's say that the latter is 20 years younger, I'd say 25 years old. Do you honestly think that the latter have a chance of defeating the 45 years old who trained in martial arts? Obviously, the answer will be no. The couch potato would be knocked down within a single round and that is for sure.

But since this fight is about Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, let me give you some facts about their background:

Elon Musk: Trained in martial arts since he was 6 years old up until now, specifically Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is also black belter.
Mark Zuckerberg: Trained and studied martial arts since 2020 and have won two medals in a tournament just recently.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 08, 2023, 08:08:46 PM
That would be a great record to have, but FIFA is so concentrated on making money and extracting as many resources from the world cup that it would not surprise me if at some point they had the fantastic idea, notice my sarcasm, to play the world cup every two years instead of doing so every four years, in which case the record of Ronaldo will be easily crushed, now this may seem unrealistic now but it would not surprise me if they actually tried to do this in a few decades.

World Cup every two years? Impossible!!!

As ambitious for money as FIFA is, this would be a totally inappropriate suggestion for a competition of the magnitude that the world cup has.

In order to hold this event, there must be large investments by the host countries, a lot of mobility and changes in the schedule, there is no way to do this every two years.

Fifa has already increased the number of teams in the competition and this is what they can do best.

Another solution would be to make the tournament a regular competition and more spread out between the years, but that would take the "brightness" out of the tournament and become a "normal" competition.

The less Fifa messes with the world cup, the better!

You didn't even notice his sarcasm Cheesy he just said it mate.

A World Cup in every two years really do sounds ambitious and I don't think that it will be granted if ever the FIFA council will try to make it. Countries around the world will lose their desires to host for this kind of event as it will be not rare anymore and people won't be that interested anymore as they know that they can always see the next World Cup in the next two years, instead of four years where they will indeed prepare for it and will not lose the chance to see the event.
World cup in every two years would be interesting and the competition will loss it's value and zeal of players to be part of the competition. FIFA wouldn't even try to put it into consideration because it will be stressful for them too. So much funds will be involved within a short period of time that might become a burden on the host country. I guess FIFA might have thought of this due to their love for money but they must have considered it boring. For a player to appear in three consecutive world cup competition that means that the player started playing very young but if it is every two years,I might say that the same country might win it back to back.

World Cup every two years sounds funny more than anything, the only reason why many teams try hard for the world cup is being every four years and this can make the world cup tournament very important but being every two years can change everything. Also, this won't suit the FIFA calendar to have a world cup every two years instead of four.

People are already accustomed to the calendar that there will be a World Cup every four years, most are held during summer, especially in the countries that is not really hostile to the people if it's not summer season. Two years will of course change everything and might result into an unwanted scenario, besides, I know that the FIFA are not even thinking about this topic.

It's just that our brains are too restless that we tend to imagine the unimaginable scenarios ^^
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: July 08, 2023, 06:02:36 PM
Unlike in the 80's, maybe the era for most of us here who started to watch boxing. And then we see those legendary fights, even trilogy just to settle the score. Now it's a totally different era. And we really don't know who is really the best in the division unless they face each other.
The world has really changed; everything now is only about the money. Well, boxing is a form of entertainment, and those who entertain the people get paid. So, it's understandable that some boxers would evade opponents they think are hard to beat. That way, they can stay in the business for a long time and continue to make money. Nowadays, pride has already been replaced with price.

Again, another sad but true moments, that's why there could be some fans who really like what the 80-90's era of boxing as we have witnessed not just fights but rematch and trilogies without any barrier.

But now as you have said, if there is a fight, someone should be the A-side, meaning he will have the control of the negotiations, pure split and others, even rehydration clause and others. And with that, the other will have no choice but to give in to the demands and hopefully he can win so that in the rematch he will have the control.

Anyhow we are in July already, just a couple of weeks from this fight.

Yes, that is indeed undeniable and it's sounds reasonable enough because the boxing industry at that time was still on the phase of making its name in the whole world as it's not that yet modern at that time but now, it's totally different because they know that whatever they do, people will follow as long as the famous ones are moving to have their fights and any news can spread all over the world in just mere seconds.

We are just lucky enough to witness some of those good ol' fights in the golden era (80s-90s) because at that time, most boxers are not afraid to eat punches and their measurement of being a strong boxer is if they can eat punches as much as possible while standing face to face with each other and of course, who can deliver the most powerful punch.
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: July 08, 2023, 05:45:57 PM
Of course the betting is agent is to be blamed for such thing. I mean, why would the "agent" let him bet 8,000 coins if he has only 1,000 coins with him? Casinos don't work like this. They would never allow you to wager more than you can afford to lose. If there is one such casino, that casino won't be lasting long. Imagine hundred of people wagering money they don't have and then not paying. And then there are people that might win a lot with those money, and yet the casino still won't make any money...
The agent is to be blamed here for making a "bad" business model.

I guess that the agent has been doing this stuff for a long time now and sounds like that he also managed to have his cut without any problems even though the bettors whom he lend the money lose the bet. But now, it is a very different case because the man cannot afford to give the money back as he might not have that much and just barely survived in every day life. Now, it has come to an end because the agent met the man that cannot afford anything and now he's having this kind of stuff.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 08, 2023, 03:00:01 PM
^ Not the worst trade I guess. Especially when you consider that getting Dame would probably draw in free agents that are worth more than what Miami would be giving up for him. Concerning news for the league is the rumor that if Dame gets traded anywhere other than Miami that he will refuse to report. His image might be about to take a hit.

That would be crazy, I know holding out is more an nfl thing but I can't remember an nba player being traded and refusing to check in.  Would that team have the right to back out of the trade?  At this point in his career do you really think Dame would do that.  I mean if he gets buried on a presentation losing team I guess it's possible but what if the Bucks swung a trade for Dame.  I mean the chip is there for him to win it a bunch of places.  If he didn't comply yeah his image would definitely take a hit.  Everyone should learn from Leveon Bell better to play then to sit out.  Could ruin your career.

Honestly, other than the Miami Heat, there are lots of teams that are interesting to acquire Dame and they actually got what it takes to get him if they were that serious. But in respect with what the player wanted, they are giving the chance to the Miami Heat because that's what the player wanted and if the Heat cannot give a good package in return, let's just expect that there will be some teams that will have their own offers, like Bucks and Celtics for instance.

I don't really mind what the agent of Dame says, and I will not believe a single thing that the league is afraid of that kind of trouble because with Dame's situation nowadays, it will be hard for him to forget what he started just because of this trade. Sooner or later, he will retire within a decade or less, I don't think he's ready to sacrifice that kind of thing.

Honestly I think the Bucks is the best spot for Dame.  With brook and giannis they got theor 4/5 covered.  I don't know who or what they can offer (seems to me the same that the Heat can offer) then the Bucks would be instant east favorites.  The Bucks are a premiere team, little bad luck with giannis going out early in game 1 of theor playoff series.  If I was Dame that would be the team I'd want.  That inside out game would be insane.  The amount of open 3s he'd see.  And with his range.  Wow that would be a tough team to cover.

Yes, as I said, there are lots of teams that are interested on this trade but it is Dame himself who wanted to be traded in Miami, who knows why but he didn't state any other teams if in case the Miami-Portland negotiation will fail. And if I recall it correctly, the Golden State Warriors was his first option before he expressed that he wanted a trade but everything has changed after the Warriors acquired Chris Paul and I'm as curious as you guys why Dame wanted to be in the Miami Heat if there are other teams in the league that can also give him the same chance.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 08, 2023, 02:34:50 PM

I don't think you are following because I certainly believe that we have already established that fact and already know beforehand that Artur Beterbiev is a Canadian citizen and has been living in the mentioned country for almost 20 years now. The only thing that connects him to Russia is that he was born at that country, nothing else.

For Dmitry Bivol, just like what I mentioned above, the unification match is not really possible at the moment because the sanctioning bodies are not allowing it to happen. Bob Arum of the Top Rank and Eddie Hearn of the DAZN is the least of their problems because Bob Arum himself already stressed before that the unification fight is only possible is if he will organize it and not Eddie Hearn and it is reasonable enough because it is them who holds three of the four belts existing.

Following that last statement, we know who's Arum is, and what he wants, right? unless Hearn will allow this to happen if money that involves will show up as diamond in his eyes, the chance of making this unification match would likely to take place. But, if there's nothing like that and Hearn is not interested in dealing with negotiation, then there's nothing that fans can do here.

They will both find another alternative and keep the belt that they've got and continue to fight a decent challenger that will matchup against them.

It will be an unfortunate news for the fans all over the globe if ever the unification fight between the two champions will not happen. I can already tell that the negotiations are going to be rough because none of them is willing to give up the right to organize the fight because it will be a big event that will surely generate them a lot of money.
And if things goes worse, Bob Arum should pave a way because Beterbiev is not getting any younger as he is already 38 years old and a couple of years from now, he will have to retire.

Yeah right, if both handlers will not show any interest to settle the possibilities of these fight then it's unfortunate for all the fans as they won't be able to witness this unification fight between these two champs, more on money matter and who will adjust just to allow the fight to take place, or maybe if there are many fans to show interest and bring a huge noise inside SocMed.

The chance that both handlers will negotiate and try to settle things out just to make that huge paycheck depends on how they talk and how they will close the deal.

I guess Bob Arum will surrender the rights to Eddie Hearn if things will not go in his way because if this fight will not happen, Beterbiev will have to vacate the three belts that he is holding upon retirement without having the undisputed fight and most likely, it's Bivol who will have those in the next few years after someone will possess it.

About the hype surrounding about this future undisputed fight, both names involved in it have been making some noise in the past few months especially Bivol for upsetting Canelo and who wouldn't know about Beterbiev in LHW that got a 100% KO rate. So, it's safe to say that the fight will generate decent profits but not really comparable to the undisputed fight in super-welterweight division that we will soon see.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 08, 2023, 12:14:34 PM

He's 34 years and maybe he might not get that fight since he's almost at the peak of his career or maybe even if we can see the fight between Inoue he became so slow because of age and Inoue will just finish him off easily. For now let see what will be the result of Fulton vs Inoue since this might be the deciding factor on what step Inoue should take. If Inoue will get this fight then provably he will not going to fight Casimero since he cannot earn anything from him.
Just one opportunity, so we can see if Inoue could really stand against a tough challenger like Casimero. I'm sure all boxers are well aware of his power, but since Casimero is the kind of boxer who does not engage in hit and run tactics, we will surely witness a very entertaining fight. Both fighters' durability will be tested.

Something that fans really wanted to witness way back from their previous division,

before they decided to climb up, if Casimero manage to maintain his weight and beat Butler, the chance of witnessing the
between Inoue and Casimero might take place. But it's not the end as the chance of crossing the path again is still possible
if Casimero will continue to win and become a good challenger while Inoue manage to beat Fulton.

It's foregone conclusion now, we will have to wait what Casimero can bring in this division. If he can bring the hype when he was still at 118 lbs then good for him. But the fight that we wanted to see him is against Luis Nery but it is not happening.

As for Inoue vs Fulton, I think the fight training could be at the peak right now and then winding up in the last couple of weeks as they don't want to overtrain. Specially Fulton who has been waiting for this fight as Inoue suffered a injury as far as I can remember.

Luis Nery got his own fight now and it is against Froilan Saludar, a Filipino boxer but it is not decent enough compared to Casimero's experiences when in-fact they are the ones who should fight each other and not this Saludar. To think, it's been quite clear that Nery has been avoiding Casimero for quite some time now even if he got some of the advantages over the former Filipino champion.

For Fulton and Inoue, only two weeks to go before their fight night and since this fight has been through some delays, so yes, we can say that both camps are just having some few touch ups so that they will not overtrain and derail from their intended goals. They wouldn't want that for sure and I know that both of them is excited already and excited to have this fight, finally.
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 07, 2023, 08:37:41 PM
The fight is going to be on July 29!!! Only 22 days more before we witness who becomes the king of the welterweight division hehehe! We also have another superfight with Fulton vs. Inoue. This month is good to be a fan of boxing.

Also in an interview, Shawn Porter said that Spence has a huge advantage over Crawford in punch output. However, my question for boxing experts of the forum. Will this he enough to win the fight?

Shawn Porter says Errol Spence will have a huge advantage over Terence Crawford with his physical presence and his high punch output on July 29th.

While Porter does rate WBO welterweight champion Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs), he’s incapable of matching IBW, WBA & WBC champ Spence (28-0, 22 KOs) with his volume punching.

Crawford has been a pot-shot fighter his entire fifteen-year professional career, and he’s not going to change now at 36 years old.

Source https://www.boxingnews24.com/2023/07/shawn-porter-says-errol-spence-has-huge-advantage-over-terence-crawford/

Much of the predictions were for Crawford before this month. However, presently there are new storylines that are being argued for Spence. The skeptical me is beginning to think that this might be manipulated to end on a draw and give the promoters another chance to collect more money from a part 2.

I'd say that these boxers who are giving their own predictions and speculations are just the same as us, the fact that they are not the ones who are participating the fight is already a reason to say that they are just like us, giving predictions on how the fight would go.

I don't really believe that they are more reliable compared to us who are also watching their fights. The question is, does Spence also believe the same way like what Shawn Porter believes? Because I don't think that Spence is that confident to say that a huge advantage over Crawford as he knows that the latter is also a different boxer in his own way, that's why he was able to retain the belt for more than five consecutive years now.

Hello everyone , I'am a beginner on crypto trading and i'am
looking for your recommendation on some essential books on how to trade/trading strategies (preferably on day trading), any of your recommendations would help, thank you.
Books are actually losing their value nowadays as most beginner traders just prefer learning from online articles from a legit source. You can actually research some good articles online and do your due diligence to read and understand them. Also, don’t underestimate the power of this forum. You can always learn from the traders experiences shared in this forum, and you can always make some follow up questions if there are times you find it hard to understand.
1133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Not your keys, Not your coins" is not enough on: July 06, 2023, 03:24:35 PM
There is one problem with this quote. This quote assumes that everybody that uses bitcoin understands its underlying tech. In fact, some people don't care about it at all. Some people just use crypto as a way to get rich quick. For them, it doesn't matter what they are trading. BTC, ETH, LTC, XMR, DOGE, SHIB... These are all the same for these people. For them BTC is just another casino token. We can't expect them to think that much even though it is in their interest to think about these stuff. Some people will fail anyway.

You said "Not your keys, Not your coins" is not enough... and I say, "Not your keys, Not your coins" is more than enough. (for these people anyway)

That's right, I agree with a lot of what you wrote;  people trade and they don't know what they are doing, they don't have a clue what bitcoin or ethereum or monero is.  They don't know the underlying technology or the differences, they don't know why Bitcoin does this and why it does it better than others, they don't know how to keep it in their own private keys, in fact they don't know they really know that it can be moved to a safe place, because they been told to use an exchange and maybe they registered through a referral from a trusted friend.  There is still a long way to go.
That proves that not all traders are ready and good enough. Some are just here for trading alone, without  even thinking about the security and safety of their coins. As long as they can trade and gain profits, that what’s only matter to them. But if they have been in the shoes of those people who have save their coins in FTX, perhaps it will serve as an eye opener for them not to trust and place their coins in a centralized exchange for an indefinite period of time.
1134  Economy / Economics / Re: Has everyone become too pesimistic about the economy? on: July 06, 2023, 09:55:42 AM
I'm a pleb like most of you, and I too have, many times, become pesimistic about the economy in general and in what's about to come. But has anyone ever considered that,

- The economy is not going to crash into a recession
- That there will be an actual soft landing
- That the Russia - Ukraine war will not escalate into a European war
- That Gensler CAN'T truly ban crypto
- Institutional investors will come back and take Bitcoin to six digits

I'm probably missing more narratives, but you get the idea.
I know what you supposed to mean but I don’t think in reality people will have high hopes on that. What’s important is that what we see at the moment and not that what will probably happen in the future. But I’m also open to your idea that if we can be hopeful and still see things positively, then we should stop seeing things in a negative way. That way, being optimistic will also attract positive circumstances. After all, we should live life with no regrets, and with no negative perspectives in the future. The current economy might be bad for everyone but know that there’s always possibilities for a change.

What exactly do you need merits for? If you have in mind that after you buy merits from someone whatever the deal is and think you can join campaign later on then it's totally wastage of time because managers will also evaluate your post history which will tell the posts are not worth it so what's the fun behind it? The system was implemented to prevent spam posters but if you somehow get it by paying for it you didn't gain anything with enhancement in your knowledge.

You are newbie here just exploring different threads is what you should focus on and when you write some quality stuff or even something useful like asking some good doubts also then you will get merits your way which is the best not to follow any such advice of whosoever is convincing you to buy merits.
It seems that newbies these days are very anxious about getting merits that’s why if some will attempt to sell their merits, they will instantly grab for that. That is a clear manifestation that they don’t care about the purpose of the forum but only to satisfy their greed and that is to get rich quickly. I just hope that they will realize that merit is not the only factor to qualify for signature campaign. It’s actually the posting habits and performance of an applicant that will matter the most, and not merely on how many merits you’ve received.

I saw something on a friend of mine iPhone I was amazed, this guy has 3 pieces of bitcoin but he didn't look it when you look at him with mere eyes, I ask him how he has come this far, he told long ego he was seriously investing on all kinds of coins with little amount of bitcoin but then most of those coins help him to realized enough amount to buy more bitcoin because that was his primary target. He normally buys those zero value coins when they appreciates it will be enough money, and that's how he convert and swag all to bitcoin and today, he has 3 piece. Is good to be diversified in your investment, somedays something good will come out of one you don't expect.
The problem with these altcoins is that even if you buy them at zero value, you will never know if their value will truly appreciate in the future that’s why some invested on them and end up regretting, wishing they only stick to bitcoin regardless of its quite expensive price. I guess your friend was just lucky that time, because if he insist it doing again these days, surely he will only suffer from great losses.

If the government (SEC) just don't try to ruin its market, they could have created more millionaires in Gary's tenure.
They can delay the market's riping scene but they won't forever get a hold of it. Especially on Bitcoin, halving is gonna be an unstoppable factor for the market to be at the best shape again.

There have been news that I've seen that Gensler should be out of his position in no time. But whether it happens or not, again, the market is unstoppable when we're getting close to halving.
Bitcoin halving is the most awaited unstoppable event by all bitcoin enthusiasts so whatever delays SEC will imposed, they can’t stop the market from its bitcoin halving especially if the people have turned against them and shift into bitcoin. Even Gensler can’t do nothing about it, as bitcoin halving has been happening thrice already even before Gensler was designated in his current position.

Well it depends on individual’s choice. But as for me, bitcoin is too much precious to lend it even to reputable exchanges but instead, I’ll just hold it and keep it safe in my non-custodial wallet. Because the fact that all centralized exchanges are not safe for keeping your bitcoin, even if you are given some interest of it, then you should not entrust your coins to other wallet knowing once its out from your wallet, your coins will never be yours anymore.
1139  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk; a school on its own. on: July 05, 2023, 09:21:35 PM
It fits perfectly to define the Bitcointalk Forum as a school, I totally agree with this assumption. Anyone who comes here will be taught basic things about Bitcoin and other alternative cryptocurrencies, anyone can develop their knowledge while they are here.
Something that is not yet known can be learned here, the Bitcointalk forum can also be used as a place to look for bonuses while learning. The more senior members have benefited a lot here, they are also very friendly to newcomers by pointing the juniors to finer things.
Yes, I can also see it as a quality school that we can expect a lot of new insights to gain and learn, and even if you enter the forum clueless and with no knowledge about crypto, no worries as members will never criticize you for that but instead, they will instill a lot of relevant information in you so it’s up to you how you’ll use them to develop into a better version of yourself. And you’re right, with all the knowledge and strategies that we will start to develop here, we can also earn from them by participating in different signature campaigns as long as our position and performance will also be qualified.

For me, just follow the basics and you’ll never get perish on it. By gaining sufficient knowledge and understanding what you are investing into, then you will know what to avoid so you won’t put your bitcoin investment into a waste. And when you decide to invest, don’t go for quick profits but learn to keep them for long term hodling, as with patience and right attitude you will get what you aim and desire in the end.
