1121  Economy / Exchanges / Re: A Second Time for both Voyager and Binance on: April 27, 2023, 09:29:56 AM
Considering that Binance won't really have to produce that $1 billion, is it just having fun messing around here, giving false hope to the beleaguered users?
Probably just messing around because it's still a publicity on their end. Because in the first place about offering a helping hand to the potential crash of FTX before it has fully wiped out, they should have seen already the future that it's literally going down but then still said that they were there to help.

And then the thing happened that everybody knew.

It's still got a lot of competition and with the regulations being placed on them, they seem to be not worried but then what if they're the next one to bite the dust?

We may not know it since they're good at mind conditioning their customers that everything is safu.

Alliance vs Old G
Alliance got straight 2 wins on this. That's okay, we've got to see the Berlin major matches later and maybe the sister team of Old G will do better against SMG as their first match and will be followed quickly against XG just after the first match.

It was an utter defeat alliance was a very smooth team winning against Old G, but just like you have said the One Berlin Major was a real banger, and right now both my bets have won I was really late in posting this but here it is I was gone betting with both Shopify Rebellion and Tundra Esports against Invictus Gaming, and here are the results
Congratulations if you've won your bets. Usually, during the first day this is many are avoiding to bet as it's like the day of uncertainty but you just did it and won them.

And talking about Old G, they were in a funny situation since both resolut1on and kitrak are in Berlin majors playing as stand in. The roster of Old G don't have extra reserve players or sub for them to play against PuckChamp for the decider/tie breaker match that shall retain the team on Division 2.

They've been in a default loss because of having incomplete players. They have to go through with the qualifiers again to get back to division 2.
1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in bitcoin on: April 26, 2023, 09:51:03 PM
Some people who became big bitcoin investors became it as a result of holdings.
Not just some but many of the bitcoin people in here have became big with their investment because of just holding. This is why don't underestimate the power of holding.

Many of those traders think that holding is nothing but this is one of the best ways to accumulate wealth through bitcoin and it's lesser in effort and you'll be making a lot from it when the bull run arrives.

If there will be a taker for $30k then just sell it. Most contents and possible features and contents have already been said by OmegaStarScream.

As in anything related to bitcoin and USA, you can make a directory for it. You can make it as an open website where every bitcoin enthusiasts in the USA can contribute freely but still, you need to filter those that aren't worth it to get listed.

I was bit too far away to dota 2 competitive matches since I was hired and started working. Games like dota 2 was too much time consuming. But lately booting up steam showed me upcoming changes with dota's map. My mind was blown man. They added portals to map for quick transporting. It can radically change jungle gameplay. All additions are very surprising and refreshing. I surely wanna watch next big dota 2 event to observe which teams will master on current map.
Yes, most games are taking time but that's one of its beauty because the game winner is determined on how tough the players and teams are to win and destroy the opponents throne.

The new addition to the map and made it even bigger was likely a mind blowing update that no one has ever updated. It's good for everyone that there's no upper hand on that update and everyone has to get familiar with it.

1126  Economy / Economics / Re: Living ones life on assumption and promises on: April 25, 2023, 10:41:49 PM
That is just one of the reasons why I don't trust promises. Ever since I was a kid, I've been said with many promises but not all of them came into as promised. Although some did but I remember most that didn't.

And there's this saying that came from a person that I know personally that have been convicted and been in jail, when someone tells a promise to the other inmates and then it didn't came into reality. What do they want? They've been given a promise already and they want it to be fulfilled. It sounds confusing but that's actually what was said.

Presently, I don't rely mostly to these promises even from the closest people that I know of. I expect mostly nothing from them when a promise was said especially in financial matters.
1127  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Now there is a global crisis, do you think this is a game of political chess? on: April 25, 2023, 09:14:02 PM
There is a lot of hostility between countries and people at this time, will it be possible to stop it or what will happen next?
The majority is coming up with the idea of these contests and territorial disputes are going nowhere. And that's through the bloody war which has been happening for centuries. That's the way they demonstrate how powerful they are and no country shall come into their way, no country is wanting to be just under and be a subject to another country.

Is there such an opinion that all this is a political game of big people. How are things with ordinary people,
We, ordinary people are the pitiful on these case. When rumors of wars came into reality, the rich ones will just come and fly to another peaceful country and living their nation into havoc.

money has taken over the world in a game with politics?
It's power and a status symbol for everything.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 24, 2023, 11:41:43 PM
There were rumors that Ryan Garcia just quit on this fight, specially after that 2nd round knockout of his.
He didn't, it came from him that both of them talk about things but then he admits that it was a good match and Tank did really got him with that punch.

The match was clean and by that day, Tank was just the better fighter and got him on round 7. Congratulations still, to him and mostly to Tank for winning that bout.

He has surely a lot to learn on this experience.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Contract Addresses: The need to be more cautious on: April 24, 2023, 07:15:41 PM
It may not be an address but it's a contract address so I think that it's still inside of this type of attack which is the address poisoning.

The contract does indeed use a vanity address as the smart contract address. But I don't understand what is their purpose to execute the scheme with the smart contract address, one plausible scenario is they expect the user to wrongly enter the intended smart contract token address, although I'm not sure how effective it is.
That's more likely the reason why they do that.

I guess everything that's related to attack means to fool the users and think that they're on the right contract address and this gives the benefit to the developer of it that has only one intention.

And that's to trick people, that's why those people that are into so much stuff in the altcoins market are the ones prone to this attack.

I have to dig deeper to see the scammer's reason, turns out they are not merely expecting a wrongly entered addres.

What they are doing is "stealing" a consumed gas fee from those who approve the contract. The approval transaction contains, gas limit increment and mints CHI tokens from the user's wallet. Thus the CHI token itself is sent to the scam contract address where after it accumulates large enough, the scammer can claim the users' consumed gas fee for a reimbursement.

This is wild, and I barely heard about this. For further reference, take a look at:

https://twitter.com/SlowMist_Team/status/1640614440294035456
https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/128dift/scam_token_called_gpt/
Thank you.

I haven't thought that these scammers will even be interested in robbing fees since the majority of them are into the actuality of stealing the entire funds of their victims.

I understand now the tactic of it and those that are into pump and dump tokens are likely to be victimized by this scheme. Because they can do this when many of them are attracted to new tokens.

DreamLeague S19 is now on its grand finals, currently the match is with Gaimin Gladiators and Team Liquid while Shopify Rebellion was already out and a 2nd runner up/ 3rd place.

Game 4 and the series score is 2-1 in favor of GG and while playing on the 4th map, Team Liquid is looking dominant on it currently but hasn't ended yet.

With other socials that are offering revenue sharing to their content creators and everyone can be part of it, this is what he has come up with. Still, he has made noise for his own platform after the acquisition and some issues or not really issues but talks that have taken the attention of the masses worldwide.

It's like a marketing that everything is going to be for free and everyone can enjoy all of the amenities, perks and stuff that they do offer. I won't be surprise if some changes will be made when there's a huge growth on them just after that announcement.

This day one of the biggest updates comes up with dota 2 which is the Frontiers which is getting a bigger map to imagine takes too much time before getting a respo with your team and also can do some micro with the mischiefs of the heroes, for sure this update brings new environment to the player, currently some of the professionals getting analyze what are the possible drafts, strategy to this game this could bring new things for the upcoming tournament might affect the performance of every player. Will wait for the next upcoming match with the new patch.
I saw the new map update for Dota 2 and this is like a balance update especially that we're in the playoffs of the DreamLeague. Every player and every team is going to adjust and will have to bear with all of these updates. It's interesting to see that this update didn't wait any longer while it is in the midst of an important tournament.

I haven't gone through with the updates yet and might play later on to look on how bigger the map is and with a lot of reworks, nerf and adjustments for items and heroes.

The best team to adapt with this change will certainly have the advantage over other slow adapting teams.

1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you agree with ChatGPT on the club that might win the premier League? on: April 20, 2023, 09:02:30 PM
This is going to lose you a lot of money. AI or chatgpt or any other AI tools might give some interesting answers that will make you think it's right because it's an AI but not all that it says are recommended.

When it's come to these games or sports, we know better than AI and it just admitted that it's not good in giving predictions. So, someone who's lazy enough will do this but also, should be aware that he's just about to lose all of his money.

It was said that GPT4 is the most advance currently but with what I know, it's like a person that keeps on learning but let's see if on this matter will it also learn.
1138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will Bitcoins vanished in one day when we woke up? on: April 20, 2023, 08:00:21 PM
Is there a situation where we woke up one day and found out all our bitcoins vanished? Blockchain or DLT has a common explanation where it is calculated to solve double spending problem which represent a incomparable transaction that are solve through the computers in the network?
I think it's just too much to think about this what if. Yes, we may be into this situation because of that possibilities. But it is highly unlikely that we're going to see it one day that it's entirely devastated and just vanished.

One situation that I think of is not it's going to be vanished but will be just be stopped as in the entire blockchain and that's when the whole world will have its interruption with internet.

1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would the advancement in AI have any adverse effects on cryptocurrency? on: April 20, 2023, 12:21:03 PM
The rapid development and advancement of AI is something that everyone is aware of. AI has truly come to stay with new ideas being implemented and released by different companies.

However, I'm a bit curious on how AI would affect cryptocurrency in the nearest future. Will it be majorly positive or negative? Let's all share our thoughts on this.
I'm only thinking of two things which has been already being done as the first thing which is all about automating the trades and we've got bots already doing that.

The next one are the projects that are related to AI, nothing that much to do with bitcoin. And if you're not getting my idea, it's about like having those bunch of meme coins being made on this craze and we shall see the next AI projects.
1140  Economy / Economics / Re: Look for what to invest, not what to eat on: April 20, 2023, 09:09:59 AM
Everyone has to deal with each their own situations. Those that are looking to invest probably have no need to think of what they need to eat or they're also thinking of what they need to eat but they're balancing their budget and manage their money.

It's not just in the forum about those you've noticed that are looking for food to put into their tables. It's almost everywhere where you see people hustle and bustle for their food and daily living just to survive but it's a different thing and comparison about the one you've given as an example about account sales.

I know that it's easy to say that they can learn and use their resources but it's just everyone doesn't have a good situation. People will prioritize food than investing before investing to bitcoin.
