1141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: July 12, 2023, 01:54:14 AM

One thing that I found interesting is that as the fight day approaches, the odds for Donaire to win also increase, it was at @1.58 the other day and now it is pegged at 1.62, maybe it would reach @1.70 on fight day.

It's not a positive sign if the odds are increasing because it indicates that bettors are also placing money on the other side. However, considering Donaire's skill and dominance in this division (except against Inoue), I wouldn't overcomplicate things and would simply take the moneyline odds.

Are the other betting lines already available?
1142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: July 11, 2023, 01:15:30 PM
Sad to say that the hope of seeing him having some minutes again didn't materialize as the coach still bench him and not give him a chance to step inside and play, we can't blame anyone as they have the control over the players who they want to take part of their team, even the shout of some fans, nothing change as Kai continue to sit in the bench till the end of the game.
Despite what has happened, we can still appreciate Kai Sotto's effort because he always looks for opportunities. I hope he doesn't lose hope with what has transpired, and maybe there's an agreement or understanding that we are unaware of, causing us to overreact. I firmly believe that Kai has the potential to become a big star in the future. While he is still young, he should continue pursuing his dream, and who knows, the right opportunity may come at the right time.
1143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: July 11, 2023, 12:14:06 PM

Well, I cannot even deny that claims by the former champion because Nonito Donaire was just spitting some simple and understandable facts as there is no way that he will be defeated in this fight because Santiago doesn't have his strength nor Inoue's. In line to that, his chances to win are much more higher even if it is not a guaranteed and let's just get back to basics, Donaire will not pick Santiago if he knew that he will have a hard time fighting for that crown. He knew that his age will be a factor and right now, his goal is to be a champion first, nothing else.

He truly respected the power of Inoue and accepted that his power was what defeated him. Santiago is not a high-quality boxer, so I don't expect him to be able to knock out Donaire if he were to win. However, if Santiago loses, it's highly likely that Donaire will secure the victory by knockout.

Among the champions in his division, I believe that Donaire is likely to create a buzz with his impressive fighting style and the way he wins the fight.

If he wins this fight, there's no doubt it will be by KO. Donaire's power is simply too much for this relatively unknown boxer. It's unfortunate that he has to face Donaire for the belt, but I hope he won't be discouraged if he experiences a devastating KO. I also hope he is adequately prepared to prevent such an outcome.

Remember, guys, this fight is scheduled to happen on July 15, 2023, so make sure not to miss it.

1144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things that influence our trading decisions on: July 11, 2023, 01:15:17 AM
In addition to that OP, we also need
 - financial supports
 - family supports

We need extra money because it wasn't all the time our trades went so smoothly and profit, we need to have a backup just in case we lose it all. And most of all support from our family - the more we have them at the back, the more we are encouraged to work hard and do trades carefully.

Preparing ourselves is really the best thing to do. Plan and Execution - everything went so well.

Some people say that the network signal is not good when you are away from home. If there are currencies that are traded offline, that would be great, and maybe there will be large-scale application scenarios for digital currencies! What do you think?
What I think is that - it never happens. The absence of the internet seems to be the worse thing happening in crypto as we rely on it.
In fact, it was been created because we are in the internet era which means that everything we do when involved in crypto trade comes with the use of the internet if not like you have said "Bluetooth" transactions, I don't think it really works. Does anyone work on this? Well, nothing because it was impossible IMO.

1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: July 07, 2023, 08:10:12 PM
And despite the fact that people are aware of their chance of winning but seeing the huge prize, everything has changed as their mind is focused on winning and hoping to be the lucky person. As I can see here in my country, a lot of people are in the lineup buying tickets and this means that they put their future into lotteries. You really be encouraged to do this when hearing someone win millions and so jobless people got crazy about this.

Actually, I've heard in an interview that he keeps all the lottery tickets and it already filled the box but still, he never wins. He says it is possible he spends millions already but is still unlucky. And I know that many people have the same story as him.
1148  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase profit in business on: July 07, 2023, 07:29:04 PM
Discounts are things that can be done in a business to increase profits in business, maintain product quality and maintain relationships with customers by maintaining etiquette with customers and providing new innovations in business that are not monotonous, such as technological improvements contained in a product to be sold Survey competitors can also be done to give our products superiority when compared to competitors' products
The most potential strategy to grow a business is to treat the customer well and develop a good relationship with the customer. and all the while retaining more customers at individually lower profits. and sometimes attractive discounts can also make a business better. on the other hand, even if the profit is low, if you always keep good product supply, the customer will love them and take the service for a long time. And there are many more sophisticated strategies that can make a businessman highly profitable. and always have to use a different strategy that will always promote exceptionally from other business
Yes, I agree with that as customer service really matters to them and they will consider of coming back. But this is not all about treating them good, it is also important to give the right products to them by simply offering what they are looking for. That is why we also have to gather ideas from our customers and hear their suggestions as this would help us to improve and give them a delightful experience like - a one-stop store so there is no reason that they will go to another store (if possible).
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Durning bull market we will received many good bounty? on: July 07, 2023, 07:04:35 PM
The bounty time almost death now so if bull market will coming then we can received lot of good bounty!
There are no good bountys available to earn money right now. So what's your target? When we will received good bounty?
It was not like before when bounties are really a good spot for the hunters but it has changed already where these bounties are just like nothing. We can't expect any from them to reward you as they have no value. In fact, many hunters before had stopped because bounties are useless and just a waste of time. They might give you their native tokens but guess what, it was still impossible to sell them as nobody is buying. This is the reality in bounties, everyone is selling but nobody is buying.
1150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 07, 2023, 12:45:55 PM

Blazers have been trying to get better but let's see what they can do for next season although I doubt there will be anything surprising that the Blazers can achieve.

Lillard was likely disappointed with what happened to the team after they traded CJ McCollum, as they formed one of the best backcourt combos. Interestingly, CJ's career took off with the Pelicans, but unfortunately, they faced challenges due to key players being injury-prone. It's understandable that Lillard would request a trade, as he no longer sees his vision aligning with the team's direction.

Now, I am confident that the Blazers will trade Lillard, and regardless of the offers from other teams interested in participating in the trade, I believe the Heat will be the ultimate winner, as it is Lillard's preferred landing spot.
1151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 07, 2023, 12:00:39 PM
As for Inoue vs Fulton, I think the fight training could be at the peak right now and then winding up in the last couple of weeks as they don't want to overtrain. Specially Fulton who has been waiting for this fight as Inoue suffered a injury as far as I can remember.
I'm expecting that they are both in good form since this fight was already postponed due to an injury suffered by Inoue. The beast should be okay now as the injury isn't too serious, and he has had ample time to train. Good luck to both fighters. Until now, I haven't changed my mind. Although I believe Fulton could win, Inoue is simply too skilled as a boxer.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: July 07, 2023, 11:10:46 AM
Unlike in the 80's, maybe the era for most of us here who started to watch boxing. And then we see those legendary fights, even trilogy just to settle the score. Now it's a totally different era. And we really don't know who is really the best in the division unless they face each other.
The world has really changed; everything now is only about the money. Well, boxing is a form of entertainment, and those who entertain the people get paid. So, it's understandable that some boxers would evade opponents they think are hard to beat. That way, they can stay in the business for a long time and continue to make money. Nowadays, pride has already been replaced with price.
1153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I become a successful Bitcoin investor as a newbies? on: July 07, 2023, 06:35:56 AM
To become a successful person must also carry a positive mindset, a concrete plan, and a characteristic of being successful.

 - knowledge and skill
 - strategies
These things play an important role in trading and so we need to acquire them. But never expect that success comes too fast and too easy that is why only a few people become successful because many are impatient. We can be aggressive but never too much as this only lead to frustration and quitting.

1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: July 07, 2023, 04:23:45 AM
Looking at effective price of altcoins ETH has not really record a bad history and very soon ETH will hit way bigger and better, if you have sphere money buy plenty of it and allow it to run for five years and watch what the outcome will be. Let's not surprise when ETH will shook the market cap of world trade many will be made billionaires and by then it will be too late for others you didn't buy at all. In shot begins to store all the relevance altcoin and wait for it. Happy Sunday
ETH is one of the promising altcoins and the leading altcoins but even though we have a lot of money, it wasn't wise enough to invest more of it and then wait for 5 years before to sell. If that is only our goal, I'd rather play the market and do buy and sell to earn profit monthly rather than wait for so long. I don't discourage holding but at this time, it wasn't really an earning strategy. We can sell them perhaps if there is a good price and just hold them if needed.
And never expect that ETH will hype that much unless Bitcoin went bullish too.
1155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late for newbies? on: July 06, 2023, 10:47:50 PM

Is it the right time to invest in Bitcoin?

All my friends are talking about cryptocurrencies, but I still can't wrap my head around it. What would you recommend for someone who has no previous experience? Do any of you have resources that you can recommend to me that will explain cryptocurrencies in the shortest and most simple way?
If you have any success stories you would like to share, I would be very grateful if I could benefit from them as well...
Everything you know about Bitcoin or about crypto investment can be found already on the internet or in the forum. What you gonna need is to spend more time searching for it. As you have said, your friends are talking about crypto, why not ask them instead of looking for someone? In fact, it was best to engage with them as they already have experience and you can reach them anytime if you have questions.

And in regard to success stories, all doesn't come easy and fast. Some become rich but some also fail, and the is because it depends on how you manage your investment.

1156  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do when you have Financial Freedom? on: July 06, 2023, 09:52:04 PM
Basically everyone always wants more and more. every time he succeeds in reaching one stage he will try to reach a higher stage and so on. But the meaning of financial freedom for everyone may be different. And having financial freedom doesn't mean you stop having higher goals. But financially, he is already living sufficiently and is not worried about starvation. even if he relaxes then the earnings will still flow into his personal account or wallet. because he has a company that continues to bring in income without us being directly involved in the company. because we already have people we entrust to them in managing our business. and we just have to enjoy the result. watching of course.
The meaning of financial freedom is when you are able to be financially responsible in meeting the necessities of life regardless of how much value or digits are in your account. Many or few digits of your money can't determine you have achieved financial freedom, but it will be achieved with gratitude. So, when you are not worried about your financial condition in the future, then you have entered the category mentioned, namely "financial freedom".
It was more than enough - it means that you can buy anything if you want. It was easy for them to grow their finances as they are already established well.  It was easy for them to protect their finances as they can spread their business or make another business line. That is why I could say they are worried about their future because as long as their businesses are running well, money always come into their pocket even they spend a lot.
1157  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - how low will we go in 2023? on: July 06, 2023, 01:41:07 PM
Are you a long-term or short-term investor of bitcoin? Because a long-term bitcoin investors shouldn't be concerned about the current price of bitcoin until their desired price is realized. So, take it easy and think positively about bitcoin. Don't let the FUD or decline in bitcoin's price depress you emotionally. it will only last a short while before the whole ordeal is over.
Whether we are long-term or short-term investors but if we trust Bitcoin and believe that it has a bright future, the price really doesn't matter. But of course, it was also important to look at and consider the market situation before buying. We can't rid of the FUDs as it was a part of the crypto space but as I've said, once we have the trust there is no way to be afraid of it.

I can't say that 2023 can be bullish, yet it was still possible but as we observe the current situation, it is only a slim chance to get back low like last year.
1158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you not hodling on: July 06, 2023, 09:39:27 AM
There can be lot of different reasons why people don't invest and hold it like some maybe having some misconceptions about it due to all the negativity by some fake articles and meadia or say scammers intervention that makes them secure about not to invest and loose money. There could be many reasons but we should focus on our goals to hold and accumulate more btc to enjoy some profit journey later on.
Holding has been encouraged but I never push someone to do that especially if they can't. Because we know that many of us are impatient, holding seems to bother them upon seeing the price decline and hearing FUDs. Honestly, holding could really give us profit assurance but of course, must be aware of the situation that holding is not easy especially if you are not fully confident with the market and have uncertainties. We have to choose the option that we think we can do but I think, we also need to learn to hold due to the volatility of the market.
1159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 06, 2023, 08:45:44 AM
By the time Casimero becomes a champion, Inoue might have already unified a belt and could potentially decide to move up in weight class once again.

I hope that doesn't happen, as it would make it evident that Inoue is deliberately avoiding Casimero. Moving up weight classes after just a few fights in the super bantamweight division is a risky decision. We can't be certain if Inoue will be able to retain his power and maintain his speed as he continues to move up.

As per https://www.sportingnews.com/us/boxing/news/stephen-fulton-vs-naoya-inoue-date-time-channel-odds-undercard-2023-boxing-fight/mwcibjot4vt4lblzgpwa9otj

Inoue is currently -250 to win, it's a huge favorite but I'm sure the value is still good as long as we put a good amount of money.

JUST IN: Scottie Thompson suffered a metacarpal fracture on his right hand during Gilas’ practice in Kaunas, Lithuania.

It's not good news for our Philippine Team as Thompson plays a crucial role in the roster. He contributes on both offense and defense, and is a skilled rebounder. I wonder who will replace him in the starting lineup, considering his importance. I believe Abando, who has mostly been a bench player, could have a chance to shine in this role.
