Is there real world usage of this coin apart from mining and trading in exchanges? Is it accepted in shops?
I will once be accepted in shops worldwide once Expanse grows solid in development with new decentralized apps on the Expanse platform. We need big investors and companies to get into Expanse. Just take a look at Ethereum and you will see that Microsoft has been using it for its Azure platform. If something similar would happen to EXP, I think there would be more demand for it.  |

Burst price is more than below electricity bill not to mention ROI.
How and why is this possible?
I cannot make 0,18 BTC on this price per month in BURST, while need 150$ for electricity.
I have made a research and so far it is not profitable due to the fact that you will spend more on HDD hardware, and electricity. Also, the fact that BURST is extremely cheap right now makes it hard to reach ROI mining it with HDD. To test my theory, you can go to http://burstcoin.biz and see for yourself. But if the price of BURST would go up, then I think you would ROI faster when mining with your HDD. |

The only difference that Bitcoin has in relation to fiat currency is that fiat is backed up by goverments
Well, ask this to deposit members of portugal bank and italian bank that have crashed un december 2015. Deposits are not available at this time ... even it's below 100 000 euros. protection of FIAT ? Safety of FIAT ? No ... they have no money in vault at the end. it's true, when some government crash you have a nice zero in your portfolio, when bitcoin crash it's most likely a dump that will recover so having a centralized system with a so called "backed up from the government" is a double egde for the value of your funds What about investing in Gold bullion? Will that serve as a reliable protection for the value of my money? Just asking hypothetically in case this scenario happens when the governments crash. |

I have tried almost everything: Trying to gamble, trying to daytrade, trying to buy alts long term and hope for the best... nothing as worked compared to just having a job and buying some BTC monthly. Thanks to this, im making a modest but nice portfolio. Everything else is too much luck involved.
Yes that is definitely the fastest and easiest way to grow your Bitcoins. Getting a job and separating 10 to 20% of your earnings to invest it on Bitcoin is a clever idea. Besides, after doing this you will earn much when the next halving comes and the price goes up. This would be the best interest rate when compared to banks. You would grow your Bitcoins and your profits if you do this. Also, if you take advantage of Bitcoin's price volatility, you can certainly make them grow. Just sharing my opinion.  |

i'm guessing the .dat file is the wallet file i need to back up like i would BTC or DASH etc?

Well, in Ethereum to make a backup of your wallet, all you would do is go to your appdata directory (if you are on Windows) and save the Keystore directory. After you have copied the Keystore directory to some place safe like an external HDD or a pendrive, you will have your wallet fully backed up as the Keystore directory contains the public and private keys. Hope this helps. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong.  |

It is a good thing I didn't invest anymore of otherwise I would have lost all my savings. Now there is only 2 days remaining for the year to end and yet the dev hasn't given a clear response about what will happen with the dividends. First Gaw Miners, then Cloudminr and now Ambercoin? These things is what makes me never invest into cloud mining or investments like these.  |

New roadmap who knows what will bring They should at least burn 10 Million of that premine otherwise this coin will fail. Why would it fail? I think it is a fair premine. I have bought some 2 days ago and said that withdrawal was completed successfully (after email confirmation) However, it is still today and I have not received the coins into my wallet. Any ideas on this? I have sent a support ticket yesterday, but got no response and now I have sent an email with the hopes of getting a reply soon. I'm worried that I might lose the invested BTC. That is good news because I'm going to start making my first deposit on the MUEBank. Still there are a few things things to be done on the cloud mining site, but I think I will have it ready because the end of the year. Next thing that I will be working on would be the MUELotto which will occur on January next year. I think we need more people into the MUE community as there is not much activity here on the thread, whereas other alts have frequent discussions. Remember cointellect? They had office etc yet they ran away. Don't get in this trap again.
I remember Cointellect and I fell for this scam pretty good. They had offices and even accepted credit/debit cards but it turned out to be a real ponzi. I was luckily to get my money back as I filed a complaint to the card issuer. But if it wasn't for that, I would still be regretting to invest in this scheme. As they always say, it was too good to be true and I think that is going to be the same case with Ambercoin. |

I dont understand why to reborn something that is almost dead,arcade machines are a dead market some shops have it for childs but thats all,before around 15 years we all play at arcades machines nowadays still has an pleasure,playing but makes no sense.
I know but perhaps it could be improved and thus an arcade machine with superior graphics and gameplay would be totally awesome. Just a new arcade machine adapted to today's game style. For example, you could play Call of Duty or Titanfall right into it (like you would do with a video game console such as the Xbox or Playstation) The only difference would be that you could play it with your Bitcoins or you could just earn free bits while playing. |

Finally seeing the price move on polo. This is a great coin and I still don't understand why the market doesn't see that Once cool and exciting games get added to Gamecredits, expect the price to go higher than it is right now. If we could manage to attract hardcore gamers from mainstream gaming consoles like the Xbox or Playstation, then GMC will go all the way to the moon! I'm patiently waiting until the glitch from Turbocharged gets fixed so that I can start playing it right away! This is awesome |
