12441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with all these people switching to BitcoinXT? on: August 12, 2015, 06:34:29 PM
I don't even know what the hell Bitcoin XT is? Probably a new Bitcoin? Sorry for my ignorance, but I'm lost in space  Huh
12442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Mining, Fair Launch, No ICO, Based on Ethereum. on: August 12, 2015, 05:09:50 PM
This ethereum clone is definitely worth it. I'm watching this very closely. Can't wait for it to be released. The Expanse name is truly epic  Cool
12443  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: August 12, 2015, 05:03:08 PM
i dont think faucet helps

Faucets are just for newbies to try out how Bitcoin works. Don't expect to earn that much from faucets (because when I was a newbie I only earned $0.02 for 3 hours) It's just not worth it. The best way to make a decent profit of Bitcoin would be joining a signature campaign and making quality posts. Also, to earn more you need to have a high rank such as Sr. Member of Hero Member  Cheesy
12444  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: August 12, 2015, 03:16:21 PM
Fuck yeah now I do, from 0.28 now I'm at 2.16 with gambling

Wow, mate. You must be pretty good at this. Care to share your strategy with us?  Roll Eyes
12445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who thinks Gavin Anderson knows who Satoshi is? on: August 12, 2015, 02:57:05 PM
Gavin should have an idea, but he is not saying anything. You cannot tell me Satoshi would hand over his creation with the Alert keys, to someone he did not have a close relationship with. It's possibly the biggest technology since the internet and you just hand over the key to the guards at the gate?

Gavin and some other people know who he or she is, but they protect him or her. Secrets only stay secrets for so long, and then someone spill the beans.
But dont you feel curious, that no one couldnt find the true identity of satoshi even any government secret agent or hacker? I think there is a possibility that its a fake figure to distract people from the real one who created this bitcoin.

Which makes me think that the real creator of Bitcoin would be Obama himself....lol  Roll Eyes
12446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going to happen to Litecoin price? on: August 12, 2015, 01:27:05 PM
If Litecoin's price doubles 2x then that would be awesome. Could you imagine LTC being worth $10? That might happen.  Roll Eyes
12447  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 12, 2015, 01:20:31 PM
With a high ROI cryptocurrency, the 2 things are the same.

Imagine saving money with an asset like AMBER or BANXSHARES that give out dividends, it would be heaven for investors!

I totally agree with you, mate. Banxshares and Amber are one of the best investments out there. I've been earning good profits  Wink
12448  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: August 12, 2015, 01:18:02 PM
I imagine the future without the need for banks to exist. You will be your own bank and that's all possible with Bitcoin.  Cheesy
12449  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: August 12, 2015, 01:16:03 PM
This would probably be the best way to earn some Bitcoins. It has worked for me but I cannot guarantee that it will work for others. I've been mining Burst using my spare HDD space and been earning some profit with it. Last time I made 0.01 BTC in one day (exchanged mined Burst to BTC) However, you might not get the same results as it depends on total network difficulty. I've been mining Burst with my 10 TB (total space) in HDDs.

12450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How Mine POS ? on: August 12, 2015, 01:23:40 AM
You gotta buy some POS coins and stake them. You might not make all that much though. There are occasionally giveaways of new coins and their faucets can be generous but don't plan on getting rich any time soon.

COULD YOU EXPLAIN MORE ? I bought 650 amber coin 4 days ago but didn't get any Earning from POS phase . whats wrong ?

You need to leave your wallet open for it to begin staking. The more coins you have, the more probability you have to earn coins from stake. If you leave your wallet open 24/7 then you will have a greater chance to earn coins from stake.

So wallet must be open........ Okay thanks

Graphic card Influence On the POS and earn ? Why some coins with 100% POS choose different algorithm ? Is there any Advantage between scrypt and x11 for 100% POS ?

But I do know this, X11 algorithm is more efficient in GPU. That might help in staking POS coins.

If there is no relation between POS and mining why you said "X11 algorithm is more efficient in GPU. That might help in staking POS coins. " HuhHuhHuhHuh?

What I meant was that X11 is more efficient in GPU when mining PoW coins. If it's efficient in PoW coins, then it might be in POS coins. It's just my opinion. I could be wrong. Therefore, it is advised to do a little research just in case  Wink
12451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Integrated ASIC on smartphones or tablets on: August 12, 2015, 01:10:36 AM
Maybe there could be a new cooling system for smartphones and tablets that would use liquid cooling to prevent overheating. That way you could mine all day long and never have to worry about your device getting hot.

Above all this, I was thinking of a system where you can mine coins by each step you make. Similar to the pedometer feature on the 3DS on which you earned some "play coins" at a rate of one per 100 steps measured by the built in pedometer. Take a look at this here: http://www.ign.com/wikis/nintendo-3ds/Play_Coins

That would be awesome  Roll Eyes
12452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Integrated ASIC on smartphones or tablets on: August 11, 2015, 07:24:38 PM
Do you imagine to mine Bitcoins (or any other alt coin) using your own smartphone or tablet? This would probably be ASIC chips integrated on smartphones and tablets. I imagine myself mining with a smartphone at 200 GH/s (the hashrate is just an example) Could this be possible in the future? I'm curious to know....What are your thoughts?  Roll Eyes
12453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why Ripple is #2 in market cap? on: August 11, 2015, 07:03:50 PM
How come Ripple's market cap is ranked as number 2? (according to Coinmarketcap) I have been told that Ripple is centralized, so why the hell it is #2? It surpassed Litecoin (considering that Litecoin is the oldest alt coin) Any thoughts on this?  Huh
12454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: August 11, 2015, 06:59:48 PM
I've recommended Bitcoin to 15 of my friends that study with me at college. They got interested in Bitcoin's technology and decided to buy some Antminers to start mining. Since they're new to this, they don't understand how mining difficulty works, but they will later. I'm still teaching them everything about Bitcoins and other crypto currencies. I feel like a teacher...lol  Grin

With Bitcoin and other digital currency, you have the chance to be your own Bank. This enables enormous possibilities.
It is the perfect currency for the online world. it is an amazing tool for Freelancers.

That is one of the best features of Bitcoin. To be honest with you, I've never had a bank account in my life. All my money is in cash and stored in a safe box underground. Some part of my money I use it to invest it in Bitcoins. When I buy online, I simply buy a prepaid Visa debit card (at a local retailer) and load it with my cash. I've always been trying to avoid banks  Roll Eyes
Maybe you are just a kid.
That's why you don't have a bank account.
Everyone should have a bank account but not more than one. All the debit card shopping can be done with it and we have no worry about our cash and not have to take much cash with us. Just take a debit card

I'm 20 years old so that means I'm not a kid....lol  Grin  I just managed to live a life without a bank account. I Live in my parents house (still) and I borrow my dad's car when I go out. Don't need to pay for electricity (so I don't lose that much when I mine coins) Just living with cash and prepaid debit card  Cheesy
12456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum dump starts? on: August 11, 2015, 06:24:18 PM
I am lucky enough to not be able to buy etherum.
Now I feel sorry for those who brought it at manipulated prices an now are watching the prices going to ground.

I was lucky enough to buy Ethercoins when their price was at $0.66 before Ethereum announced it's frontier release. Now I can exchange those Ethercoins for Ethers and still earn some profit.  Cheesy

What I like best of Bitcoin is that it is decentralized. Not to mention, that mining Bitcoins is fun too  Roll Eyes
12459  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 11, 2015, 04:58:55 PM
I've been saving money for the last 5 months. What I do is take out 10% of my earnings from part time job and invest it in Bitcoins. I also use some of the money to buy some Banxshares and Bitshares. It has been going well for me  Roll Eyes
12460  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: August 11, 2015, 04:56:23 PM
It is not dead, not even close. On the other hand the price is lower than we expected. That is a big problem. It should have been near 300-350$ now.

I totally agree with you on current price. I wish it could skyrocket up to $1000 but it seems that it's going to take longer than expected. Anyhow, I'm not giving up yet. I believe in Bitcoin and I've been holding them for the future.  Hope to get rich someday  Roll Eyes
