12341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going to happen to XPY? on: September 02, 2015, 06:30:26 PM
stop beating a dead horse. XPY is done for, only a very special and gifted crowd is still in this disaster.

Too bad for a crypto coin that had such huge potential. I've lost my interest on Paycoin and therefore I will switch to NXT as my next alt coin.  Smiley

At the risk of being cruel, what potential? The mining schedule was an intricate scheme to convince everyone they could get rich by paying more to mine faster than some other poor sap and the retailer support appears to have been entirely hypothetical.

If you want a coin that simply could be much bigger, I'd suggest Litecoin :p

I have Litecoins but I'm holding them until the price goes up to $10 (if it ever does) Any idea on what's the most profitable coin to mine with a GPU right now?
12342  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you spending your Bitcoin? on: September 02, 2015, 02:13:15 PM
I don't want to spend my Bitcoins for a long time. I'm too greedy. I just want more, more and more..lol  Grin
12343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 02, 2015, 01:55:24 PM
Probably the best method to grow your Bitcoins would be to start investing it in startups, crowdfunding, shares, etc. I've invested mine into Banxshares and I've received good profits from their monthly dividends (every 28 of each month) Just invest what you can't afford to lose  Smiley

I think you were not very long on the forum or in the bitcoin community. Investing in bitcoin startups or securities is very risky. A lot of people lost very much coins. Up to the point that there exists practically no investment that did not turn out to be a scam or was run by inept businessmans.

And i think you should not feel too safe. Until you did not get your initial investment back, you are in the negatives. In bitcoin the better investment is to not invest. Since when you invest you give all your coins away and it's open if you get them back.

Your absolutely right there, mate. However, I only invest the very minimum amount just to be safe. In any case it turns out to be a scam, I could be relieved knowing that I only lost a very little amount of money instead of having spent a huge amount.  Smiley

Another way of earning Bitcoins is to scam someone to get their coins, although is not a recommend path to choose right now.  Roll Eyes

Your life wouldn't happy if you're going to do that
so many job out there that you can make much money more than you ripped someone,
how about if you get ripped?

I know how hard it is to rip someone (including myself) stealing their money is not a good idea. It is the fastest way to earn Bitcoins, but as I said before it is not recommend. I'd just rather offer my services in exchange for Bitcoins (I'm pretty good in IT related stuff)  Cheesy

Is Quazarcoin still alive or dead? I haven't seen any news/development on their official site. Just in case, I'm mining lots of them with my PC  Grin

Obviously it is still alive then.

It just looks strange now that there hasn't been any development since 2014. I think the dev abandoned Quazarcoin.  Huh

12348  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: September 01, 2015, 07:19:42 PM
The future of Bitcoin will be determined whenever a celebrity/actor starts using it in a movie, then everybody would want to own and use Bitcoins. After all that, Bitcoin becomes mainstream and it would be happily ever after, the end.   Roll Eyes

I think the most profitable way to earn Bitcoins is to make yourself a casino/gambling site and watch the bits roll in to your wallet  Grin

Paycoin is dead and I doubt that it would resurrect someday. RIP XPY  Sad

OP just doesn't want to admit he is a lemming.  People who invest into XPY / ETH are just following crypto celebrity scammers.  Cheesy

Yeah I thought of that. When I noticed that Paycoin was a scam, I decided to exchange them to Bitcoins. It was only good when it was worth $20.  Cheesy

I don't understand what you mean by this?

What I mean is that when Paycoins were cheap (before it was worth $20) I just bought a bunch of them and when it hit the $20 mark I had good ROI. Now that the price is getting lower and lower I have lost a huge amount of money. Nevertheless, I exchanged them quickly into BTC before I could lose any more profit.  Smiley
12354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What's going to happen to XPY? on: September 01, 2015, 01:06:59 AM
Ever since GAW started breaking their promises about Paycoin, it's price been going downtrend with a low of $0.01 last time (farther than the promised $20 mark) When Paycoins were worth $20 they were a really good investment. Nowadays, it's just a waste of money. I've lost much investing in this coin, even still I haven't lost my faith waiting til it comes back to $20 (if it ever happens)  Sad

It's been quite some time since Paycoin has been acquired by a new development team called Team XPY, however they're very slow when it comes to improvements, developments, etc. Do you think that XPY might shine someday in the future, or do you think that it will be dead for good? I would like to know your opinion about this  Grin
12355  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: August 31, 2015, 05:33:52 PM
bitcoin is still standing strong why consider it dead though

because some people here want to buy cheap coins and spread FUD.

Would you imagine Bitcoin's price to lower down to $100? This could all be possible thanks to Bitcoin XT. If that happens, I'll buy a big sum of Bitcoins and hold them for the next increase in price.
If the price of bitcoin increase after 2 years would you keep it? Because anything can happen, so you can't say that you can keep it until the price of bitcoin goes up again.

You do have a point there. I'll just hold them until there's an increase in price (around $1000) and hopefully cash out some coins into fiat. The rest of Bitcoins would be exchanged into Nubits. They're are pegged to the value of USD and thus, it would be a good option just in case Bitcoin's price goes down (I think). Just my opinion.  Roll Eyes

Yea but they are not pegged 100%, because they use a basked with like Peercoin and such.

If you really want a crypto-USD then try BITUSD, that one is really pegged to the dollar!

I know that BitUSD is an BitAsset from Bitshares. But I've never thought of it. As I can see, it is a better option than Nubits (which are not 100% pegged).

what is nubits?  yeah great idea that you will halved your coins and change it into different things such as fiat money and nubits and i don't have idea what is nubits.

Nubits is a crypto coin like Bitcoin. The only difference is that it has price stability which is pegged to the value of fiat.  Smiley

I am new to bitcoin I want to earn lots of them pleas tell me how

Start by joining a signature campaign. You will earn more Bitcoins than you would do by visiting faucets. Since your're a newbie, I would recommend making quality posts before joining. You would then have a higher rank, and earn more from campaign.  Cheesy
12357  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor vs. paper wallets. on: August 31, 2015, 02:15:17 PM
While I do agree that Trezor has far more security than paper wallets, I'd still choose paper wallets because it's much more cheaper than a Trezor. Nevertheless, when I have enough money, I would buy myself a Trezor  Roll Eyes
12358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: August 31, 2015, 01:13:39 PM
Earned some bits from my investments at Stakeminers today. I've also earned dividends from Bleutrade Shares.  Cheesy

MY best way to earn bitcoin is
- join Coinoindex signature campaign Smiley
- solve capta like Qlink
- earning from faucet
- also searching free BTC ( giveaway )

If you good programmer you can freelancing for jobs also its one of good way of earning btc cuz more freelancing sites offer paying in btc.

Your list is great just if you remove the part of solving captchas because it is just stressful. Once upon a time i started but to make 1$ it requires too much time.

You can always earn more by joining a signature campaign and posting quality posts. The higher your rank the more you will earn. It's even faster earnings than faucet.  Smiley
12360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin future in few words ? on: August 31, 2015, 01:04:25 AM
Bitcoin will have a future. It's just that it's not the time for it to sparkle. Just wait until Bitcoin XT goes down and then we will see how well it would go for good old Bitcoin.  Grin
