11461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOON] Mooncoin: You know where it's headed! KGW exploit FIXED 4/3/2014 on: December 28, 2015, 08:26:13 PM
the situation on cryptsy does not improve , now the Withdraval  has been reduced to 25 million.
we must work for quoting moon in another large exchange , Bittrex ?

And maybe adding Mooncoin to Poloniex as well will make MOON reach to new heights. We need to make requests for big exchanges to add Mooncoin and increase trading volume/activity to help the price increase as well. This is a pretty good coin. Right now is much cheaper than most alts out there.  Smiley
11462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: December 28, 2015, 08:21:49 PM
I hate all the people who use it for scamming. It is like bitcoin is made for scammers, instead of for us.
True it is caused by the fact that bitcoin is anonymous for the end-user, but there should come some party which monitor the market/scammers.

I agree with your statement to a limit that Bitcoin forum is filled with scammers but there are moderators who keeps an eye on it and kicks out the scammers and yes having a strong team to monitor the scammers will be good and it will help us to get rid of scammers.

There should be a modification in Bitcoin's coding (are something similar on the Blockchain) that would detect the scammer and automatically issue a penalty by the Blockchain itself. Could this be achieved? If so, there would be a safer and more secure world in Bitcoin. Just sharing my thoughts here.  Roll Eyes

Anyone here had successfully withdrawn Casinocoin from alcurEx exchange? I have bought some 2 days ago and said that withdrawal was completed successfully (after email confirmation) However, it is still today and I have not received the coins into my wallet. Any ideas on this? I have sent a support ticket yesterday, but got no response and now I have sent an email with the hopes of getting a reply soon.

I'm worried that I might lose the invested BTC.  Sad
11464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 28, 2015, 07:52:34 PM
All my life economies are in the Bitcoin network ... so yes, i trust more Bitcoin than FIAT system.
And i have read 3 months before done this.

Bitcoin win in all strategies ... because, like a P2P system, it is attached by "nothing" (controlled by the majority, not by a few people like the banks and the state).

I just withdraw 20 dollars so it is real money. Used it for buying my usb otg and my micro sd card. Now I am even happier that I got to know bitcoin with my early life.  Grin

Yes if you can convert your btc to fiat then its a real money, if you can purchase any product using bitcoins as a mode of payment then its a real money, if bitcoins is taking care of your basic needs, your basic expenses then its a real money and that is the same case with all the bitcoins users who are using bitcoins since a long time regardless where you are using it for online purchases, online transfers or converting it to fiat.

The only difference that Bitcoin has in relation to fiat currency is that fiat is backed up by goverments and something valuable whereas Bitcoin is not backup by anything but yet it has proven to be real money like the traditional paper money we are used to spend.  Grin
11465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AMBER] X13 POW/POS| 10k AMBER=0,01% SHARES | BUY, HOLD & GET DIVIDENDS in BTC/$ on: December 28, 2015, 07:49:25 PM
I believe, we will get info today and also hope, there is no conflict in the Amber Trade management. I mean between ones that want to develop company via blockchain (Ambercoin) and in traditional way.

Yes.
Info is being prepared and will be ready in an hour or two.

There is no conflict in the management.
But crypto shareholders at the moment have relatively small overall share in the Company.
And as a result have a restricted influence on important decisions.

So the only way to increase the weight in the company is to increase own share.

A blockchain based voting system is being developed.
Once it is ready all shareholders will be able to take part in decisions making.

Now that is a relief and very good news as well. The blockchain voting system would definitely make it a great features for us investors. Way to go. Hope to see become reality real soon. I am not giving up yet. My ambercoin are still being hold on my wallet. Looking forward for more positive news like these.  Grin

Is anyone else receiving dividend payments on the Asset Debenture?

Hey now that you mention the word "asset", where I can find some assets to invest into? How does it really work? Can somebody please provide me some tips about this? Sorry for asking, but I am relatively new in the Burst world.  Grin

There are a list of assets listed on block.burstcoin.info.  There are a few to pick from.  Please becarful on which ones you pick as some arent active, some may be scams.  However there are a few that are going good.  Playground, Playgrouund, PGround3 are all mine.  And are going well you can find all the info you need on The playground. Loads of features that will get you returns.  You can read the [ANN] here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1294886.0.
You can see this phase here on the advsnced block explorer as well. https://block.burstcoin.info/as.php?as=1046442228061264624

However there are othrr good assets, byteent, income are to name a couple.

If you have questions please feel free to ask.

Hey thanks for the information! I have been browsing through the list of available assets to invest Burst into, and found ones that I seem to be pretty interesting. I think I'm investing into Playground asset and Income asset.  Smiley

I just hope that as well, otherwise all would have been false promises and nothing but a scam. For now, I won't confirm this too soon, will just have to wait what the dev has to say today. But if not, I will be selling all my Ambercoin right away.  Sad
11468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 28, 2015, 03:22:18 PM
why don you ask is dollar money to you ?

if they are no trust on the dollar or watever it just a paper .
if you're comparing with the dollar of course it will be different
the dollar has a very long history
the dollar is not an ordinary paper it will always be valuable

And maybe then the dollar would evolve and be sort of like Bitcoin in a digital form but backed up by the US Government. Or it could be the case that Bitcoin could become the world's reserve currency. Other than that, no matter if it is Bitcoin or the dollar, they would have no real value unless there is usability and backed up with something. But ues, Bitcoin can also be considered as real money. Just my opinion.  Cheesy
11469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 28, 2015, 03:18:01 PM
https://blog.ethereum.org/2015/12/24/understanding-serenity-part-i-abstraction/

"...One particular interesting consequence is that with the current plan for Serenity, Ethereum will be optionally quantum-safe; if you are scared of the NSA having access to a quantum computer, and want to protect your account more securely, you can personally switch to Lamport signatures at any time. Proof of stake further bolsters this, as even if the NSA had a quantum computer and no one else they would not be able to exploit that to implement a 51% attack. The only cryptographic security assumption that will exist at protocol level in Ethereum is collision-resistance of SHA3..."

as I understand it, after the launch of Serenity , Etherium will contain protection against quantum attacks quantum computers and eliminates the need of additional add-ons for security and a manipulation of accounts is very interesting

So let me get this straight.. Does that mean the serenity release will be more secure against quantum computer attacks and the NSA as well? If that is the case, then I think it would be the safest decentralized network (apart from bitcoin) Just my opinion. Please correct me if I am wrong.  Smiley
11470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: December 28, 2015, 03:14:26 PM
When is the 2016 roadmap release? This week maybe? Shocked

About the roadmap I think it will be released on January. There is something that I have been wondering about Expanse and that is an Android or iOS wallet release. Perhaps this would be listed on the roadmap as it will definitely attract more users to get into Expanse since there are a wealth of mobile users out there. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one.  Grin
11471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: December 28, 2015, 01:37:33 AM
How much gas should I be using when sending transactions? What is the ideal amount? Is 1 gas equal to 1EXP?
Seems the default 90000 works. I tried different increments up to 20000 then gave up and plugged back in 90k lol. It works  Cheesy

Definitely 1 Gas does not equal 1 EXP  Grin I'd be broke if it did lol

Great discovery! I have never thought this before and I just wondered whenever 1 Gas was exactly 1 EXP or not. The same thing happened with me on Ethereum, but never understood this until you shared your experience here. That means the more EXP you have, the double the gas right?  Grin
11472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MonetaryUnit [MUE] Quark based, CPU mining, faucet, explorer, pool, wallet on: December 28, 2015, 01:01:50 AM
Logo looks nice, good change.

I think if you manage to achieve just 1 of these things then you've achieved a lot and there will be a significant bounty coming your way Wink

Hey thanks for your positive feedback about the things that I have been working on to support the MUE project. Sometimes I wonder why this thread is kept mostly quiet with almost no replies after a few days, but I guess it is because we are in the season of Xmas.

Anyways, I would like to announce that the MUECloud mining site is nearly complete. Only a few final touches and it will be ready to begin with the operation.

You can take a look at it by going to: http://muecloud.xyz

In the meantime, I will continue to work on it as well as the other upcoming features that I will be bringing into MUE. Hope to see MUE community grow  as it has been a couple of days since there hasn't been any new reply from members (with the exception of devs/staff)  Cheesy

@bizzyb Is the MUEBank still working? I just sent a message via the contact form a couple of days ago, but I haven't received a response yet.  Sad
11473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteDoge - such Community coin | no premine | very fast | much profit on: December 28, 2015, 12:49:38 AM

As I said above, after the original dev pooped on Litedoge, the community took matters in its hands - and that was great. Developments have been made and I know there are people working actively on this coin. This whole thing started again not because Litedoge is not maintained or being developed but because of people's behavior (once again).

If that is the case, then it is good to see that the community is doing all the best to keep this coin alive. I can't imagine how everything would be for LiteDoge after new year comes. New wallets and some improvements will make it even more interesting. I love LDOGE and will continue to support it as it is a very promising coin.  Cheesy
11474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteDoge - such Community coin | no premine | very fast | much profit on: December 28, 2015, 12:01:57 AM
It is very sad to listen that but if the original Devs dont care about open the development of the project, probably the better is to leave Litedogecoin die... sad but sometimes it is the only ending

I agree totally that its a shame, this coin could really have been good had it had the correct people behind it when the original dev left, but now it has no dev and no direction  Sad

I agree with you as well. No active dev means no future for LiteDoge. At first, I got interested into LDOGE because of dirt cheap prices and the great opportunity to stake big amounts of LDOGE and make great profits. But then, after seeing no development or innovations, I just started to doubt whenever it will be a successful crypto currency or not. Even still, I am holding LDOGE because I have hope in this project and am not giving up yet.  Smiley
11475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: December 27, 2015, 11:57:41 PM
My big problem with btc is these unstable prices.
I believe it prevents a lot of people from using it.
My second problem is there is no much sites that accept btc as a payment processing. But this one will be solved by time and by more adopters for btc

Yes I don't also like Bitcoin's price volatility due to the fact that you could lose your investments quickly. This is a disadvantage but it also serves as an advantage since you could take advantage of price's instability (volatility) and make profit if you know how to do it well. Over the past weeks, I have been doing this and have made a decent amount of profit.

I also agree with you that there aren't much merchants accepting BTC but if you take a look, it is slowly gaining its adoption over time and I think it would take 5 to 10 years to see true mainstream adoption. (and a wealth of stores accepting it)  Smiley
11476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 27, 2015, 11:19:48 PM
84 dollar cents.. again. What is happening man.
ETH is the only coin going somewhere, with stellar.

Either ETH or XLM will win the battle for smart contracts. My bet is Stellar, but the ETH fanboys should be happy to come up no 2.

Ether's price has gone lower staying on $0.84 yesterday. Now it only increased by 2 cents but it is still within the same price range. That is strange. But I do think that the price will start to go up once it gets to the Homestead release.

As for Stellar and Ethereum, they have pretty good concepts but in my opinion, I think that Ethereum will win (perhaps) due to all the hype that it has got into, not to mention that is was the third largest crowdfunding project in history. But the future is uncertain. Until then, it would be best to hold on to our Ethers and see what will happen in the next Homestead release. Just my opinion.  Smiley

As were mentioned 2 pages ago: "Question about Q3 dividends is going to be considered by company's management next week".
Still hope, I get an answer...

Next week is about to end. Any statement is appreciated.

Statement about Q3 dividends will appear tomorrow until the end of working day.

Thanks for these good news. I hope you could keep up with what you promised and if everything is settled, I will complete my stash of Ambercoin until I reach 10k and become a shareholder. I'll be very patient and following this thread the whole week for updates.  Smiley
11479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SDC] ShadowCash | POSV2 | Untraceable E-Cash | NIZKP | HD+BIP32 | ShadowMarket* on: December 27, 2015, 12:25:42 AM
code: Hi Abiky,
Exchanges always use the normal addresses.

The stealth addresses actually create new public addresses each transaction. But no exchanges have implemented it as far as I know.

The Bootstrap.DAT file can take many hours to synchronise and the GUI may freeze. This is the same for the standard Bitcoin client, but this is fixed in the next version of Shadow! It's now multi-threaded and will show the progress. For now just let it run.

A new super fast blockchain syncing method is also being developed and it's looking promising!

That Raspberry Pi box sounds cool! Some users will certainly love it.

Hey thanks for clarifying my doubts about Shadowcoin. There is only one thing that I'm going to ask: Is the next version of Shadow available to download right now or is not released yet? As far as I know, I have downloaded the latest version of the wallet a week ago. But if the new version is upcoming, then those faster sync rates and multi-threaded sure looks very interesting.  Cheesy
11480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 26, 2015, 11:32:34 PM
Of course. From my point of view, Bitcoin is real money since you can do anything that you would do with real cash (fiat). You can buy and sell with it and even loan your BTC. The best part of Bitcoin is that you are in control of your money and you are your own bank. Just my opinion.  Grin
