Ok, not sure where to post this so for lack of a better place I will put it here for discussion:

KNC is now specifying a MINIMUM of 250 Mh/s for 10K or $40 per 1 Mh/s! Compare that price to performance cost to the Gridseed 5 chip miners (360 Kh/s) and they should be selling for $14.40 each  Shocked

Supposedly KNC is shipping Q2/Q3 2014 but by that time they may increase the hashrate yet again (originally specified at 100 Mh/s about two weeks ago?).
If KNC wasn't a reputable company I would call BS.

I find myself hard pressed to order more Gridseeds at $165/piece  Huh

A little word about KNC

Whoa!....I think I'm gonna invest in a few shares from Fibonacci.  They have some very choice products coming.

I ordered just one gridseed that came with the miner, power supply, and a usb.  My cat ended up chewing through the damn power cord when I wasn't looking though.  Does anyone know where I can buy a generic replacement for cheap?

Yeah, your local animal shelter has them for free! They even come neutered or spay! Cheesy

Here kitty kitty!    Cheesy Grin

lol ya....he's not getting any treats for a long time that's for damn sure.  So how about that cable?  Anyone?

You don't need an entire new cable, unless the cat ate it.
Simply cut the chewed part out, strip the casing off, re-connect the center and outer shield wires, twist or solder if you can, then insulate with electrical tape.

Or..you can buy one here...

Excellent!  Ya...he literally ate a chunk with wires, and I'd rather just buy new since I don't have strippers or anything. :/  If I only plan on scrypt mining, do you think I could get away with a 12v 1a? Like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Power-Adapter-Supply-2-1mm-CCTV/dp/B00452YFZU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1396331062&sr=8-3&keywords=12v+1a+power+supply
