1181  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kryptogamers Hive No KYC Casino on: April 05, 2023, 06:20:35 PM
~snip~
this is a definite answer and I think there is no need to debate any issues related to KYC.
to be honest for this Kryptogame I can understand that the team might ask for KYC if it is really needed such as law enforcement is investigating a customer account and asked for KYC to verify the gambler's age.
and gamblers should also understand this situation because this has become part of the casino regulations which cannot be contested.
That all sums up on what the owner of this casino thinks about KYC and that clears up any issues that's being discussed and that's why I did some time looking at it and it tends out that they've already it long time ago.

Every casino might really ask for KYC and whatever they say for now can also be a basis on actions that they might do in the near future. But like the usual, we all know that in terms of policies, there could be changes based on the policies that they also stick to be followed.

We're all flexible and adjustable into such and expecting it to be asked specially if you've been gambling for a long time already and had experienced before.
1182  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some scams that can be avoided that people failed to check!!! on: April 05, 2023, 05:10:41 PM
With the combination of 3,4 and 5. There are also fake casinos and fake web wallet websites and I think  that 1,3,4 and 5 are all connected.  Scammers and hackers will come to those points that they'll capitalize to make something good such as fake websites.

That's how they're getting their victims that aren't familiar with the websites they visit and don't check the spelling and character letters and numbers of them.

Little mistake and changes about the URL and domain, that's already a big sign that the website someone's trying to visit is a fake one.
1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: April 04, 2023, 11:28:29 PM
And it's not about winning every bet, but about having profits that exceed losses in the long run.
I agree, whether you've got one or many strategies ready to be deployed in the games you're about to bet for. It all sums up that there's only one goal and that's to profit as a whole outcome from all of your bets.

Ratios doesn't matter because they're still just number and only you will care for it as if you've got good or bad statistics with these ratios. But that will be defeated if you've been profitable within the day, a week or a month. Depending on the period you'll set to check all of those stats of your wins.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to gamble on: April 04, 2023, 10:16:32 PM
Best time differs on our personal schedules and devotions, if we've got a lot of free time during rest days then that will be the best time to gamble since you don't rush things and your emotion is set properly that you have got no meetings and deadlines need to be met.

Are there gamblers that think that the best time to gamble is when you wake up since your mind just came from a good rest but, it also depends how long is your sleep.

In my opinion, the best time to gamble is Friday after dusk, so one can relax and sit back after a long week of work, perhaps even have a soft drink as one rolls the dices.
I agree that this is typical best time to gamble when you've got no worries on what you have to do by tomorrow.
1185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rules to follow with bitcoin to live a happy life. on: April 04, 2023, 07:25:48 PM
I totally agree with your number one rule but I don't fully understand why you added swing trade is good to your rules. To me swing trade seems like gambling, you can either gain or lose. One major rule should be to invest in Bitcoin, keep a part of your savings in BTC regularly and secure it properly. Do not worry about the price because in the long term BTC is always bullish.
Maybe he just likes to swing trade. Not everyone do like to trade at all, that's why many of us will just choose to buy and HODL for a long time and that's all set.

If we don't want to take the risk of swing trading, we can just simply be happy what we've chosen and that's to just HODl. And keep everything go according to what the market is showing and that's to be patient.

Other factors depend on how you're making your life satisfied.
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in other countries on: April 03, 2023, 09:23:05 PM
Let's have the usual take of most countries towards bitcoin and that's all about being the currency of drug dealers, illegal transactions and money laundering.

That was their impression about bitcoin and that's probably the reasons why they're not making it happen to be in their country and be adopted by their citizens.

They view it as that but those that have been too open on it and realizes that cash/fiat does the same, allows to be penetrated by bitcoin transactions or much likely neutral to its usage and have nothing to say and won't ban and categorize it as something illegal.
1187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: +0.54056624 BTC Scam mail on: April 03, 2023, 08:15:30 PM
I think it's a good idea to use separate emails for Bitcoin activity compared with the rest of your emailing
It truly is. You'll get to filter all of the activities that you're going to do for those emails and you'll get track those potential websites that are sharing their database or leaking it to those scammers.

And that specific email will be clean from these type of email scammers/phishers. I guess everyone should start doing that for them to protect themselves and avoid these unnecessary emails that we're getting from wherever we have signed up.

That will just limit the rate at which you will get those mails but it's never a guarantee that they won't come in.
The different is that, if you are using email "A" specifically for social media, and sites which are not related to crypto when ever you get any crypto related mail from that "A" mail box you don't even need any one to tell you that they are likely to be scam without even giving it a second taught.
That's one countermeasure for you to have them get into your mailbox limitedly. And yes, that's why you can do this if you want to limit those scam emails coming in to you.

You'll be aware that you haven't registered somewhere else and you won't click a link that you're unaware of because you have never registered to them, telling that your account is done for and needs to be revamp by clicking a link they've put at the latter part of the email.
1188  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kryptogamers Hive No KYC Casino on: April 02, 2023, 11:47:57 PM
Here, there's a lot of talks about KYC but I think that I'll just drop what the representative said about KYC matter if you ever win big and how they're verifying the age of their players.

The thread has been covered with new pages so I think others haven't seen it but they've got good answers from it and I guess everyone needs to see it.

Please find below the answers to some of the common questions:

1) If a player wins big, will the casino ask for KYC ?
Ans: Since Kryptogamers is primarily a non-custodial casino on Hive blockchain (HIVE offers free and instant transactions), all player's non-custodial winnings are transferred instantly and free of cost to the player's Hive wallet without requiring any kind of KYC whatsoever. It is not possible for us to ever ask for KYC for the non-custodial section because we are not in control of your Hive blockchain account and therefore cannot suspend or do anything about it.

2) Why is proof of age required if casino does not require KYC ?
Ans: Apart from the non-custodial section, we also have a custodial section of games for custodial wallet players who prefer better user experience and instant gameplays as each non-custodial game-result takes approx 3 seconds (which is Hive block time) while custodial game results are instant (<1 second). However, if you are playing custodial games, the proof-of-age and other documents maybe required only if the law enforcement requests come in for your specific account. Uptill now (4+ years), we have received only 1 request to suspend a custodial Hive account and that person had 0 balance in his wallet. Having said that, we are a privacy friendly casino since 4+ years and have never asked for KYC nor do we intend to ask for KYC unless absolutely required by law.

Hope this answers your major questions. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
1189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can we start with $10 in CRYPTO MARKET? on: April 02, 2023, 10:44:10 PM
Check the exchanges on how much minimum deposit they allow but even with that, deposit only to the exchanges that's known and has a got a good reviews from the community.

These are the exchanges on this top list of coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

And as you try to trade with $10, that's a good start to learn a lot of lessons from your trade because that might just be one trade away and you'll not be able to trade back after exchanging that with another altcoin.

Because in one exchange that I know, Binance, the minimum trade there is $10 and with some fees you pay, that $10 will be lessen eventually and you won't be able to trade with your 2nd trade because the value of your purchased coin might not be $10 anymore.

1191  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex to shut its U.S operations on: April 01, 2023, 10:09:28 PM
I wouldn't be surprised to see them shut down the entire platform before the end of the year.
I won't be surprised as well but this gives me a lot of memories during their glory days. They've been so popular before but seems they lacked of adopting the trends that has came to the market.

While US is becoming stricter with the implementation of their rules against these exchanges. They're just choosing what's best for them and that's to step out of the US market since it's still possible for their users to access their global brand.

That's why I don't wonder anymore if there are exchanges like this that shuts their US branches because even Binance have been struggling on that region.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: April 01, 2023, 09:11:07 PM
Yeah and that's okay. SEA teams have been unpredictable but their Team is becoming consistent so I guess if we're going to speak about it, they're currently the strongest SEA team as of talking.

Agreed, They are the only Asian Team that made a better spot on the last major and the rest including China team is already shaking when facing WEU and EEU team. I believe Talon can become a stable team for a long time if 23Savage will play consistently like this unlike his previous gameplay that is very reckless.
That's true, even on China which I've been considering one of the strongest regions is also struggling just as the SEA. Credits to his teammates and it's the whole team that should be consistent, good luck on them in Berlin.

Watch closely to the North America, the slots there are only two and the teams that are trying to get that are into tough competition. I've just noticed and missed that Dendi's team B8 is already on this region.

Even if I want to wish him luck, the remaining games that they've got won't be enough for them to at least get the 2nd spot. So, these are the teams that are competing for two slots there. TSM, Nouns and Shopify Rebellion.

I won’t blame Dendi for choosing NA region because that more easier region to accumulate DPC points for TI unlike EEU region which his original region that full of strong teams. EU is now the power house region so I will not be surprised if some players decided to form teams on weak region like NA, SA and SEA.
That's another try for him but looking at this qualifier, there are two teams who have secured slot for Berlin and those teams are Shopify Rebellion (ex-EG) and TSM.

The remaining games no matter what the result will be, they're just for formality. Hopefully, Dendi will also be back on these actions on these LAN events and majors.
1193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not about to give up hope. on: April 01, 2023, 08:16:25 PM
•What ways have you exercised hope after setbacks or failure?
Being consistent and by sticking to the plan and that plan is to be long term holding bitcoin. No matter what happens, no matter what FUDs are there, stick to what you're planning for.

That's the foundation that needs to be set because you'll never know if by the time you sell, you can no longer take it back and that's happening for most holders even if they want to buy back, they just can't anymore.

•What lessons can we learn from your experience?
Not that much but to be consistent in bad situations.

I’m surprised on how SEA teams not includes those team that expected to dominate the region due to their roster. 23Savage is proving his worth by giving his best to carry Talon.

1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone here tried Gambling Arbitrage? on: March 31, 2023, 05:59:35 PM
I've heard of the idea even before but never tried it because I have never done it. Most casinos might even track you down for doing so and they can detect that you're doing it.

yep, it's true that arbitrage is often carried out in sports betting by taking advantage of the odds from several sportbooks to get a definite outcome.
but you better reconsider if you want to learn this strategy, this is very risky on your account.
And it's rare to see that this is possible to be made and that's why for most of us here. It's either never done it or never heard of it because there's no way that it can done or close to it like just having little chance of doing it.

maybe because I often make tickets to contact support, but don't get a solution but my account and IP are permanently banned by the bitvest admin, this is unfair and very bad performance from the bitvest admin site
Well, personally the support can get annoyed with that but it is not a valid reason for them to stop helping you by just nonstoply addressing the concern you have and they do not have to take it personally.

That is the reason why they are called customer support/service. Because a success customer service will help you resolve the ticket you brought them and it is unsatisfying if they keep on seeing a customer keeps on coming back with a complain.

How can that be a valid thing that they have banned your IP by just sending them tickets that you haven't got helped? Unless all of those are invalid and you already got a resolution from them or you truly made a violation against their TOS.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 30, 2023, 07:56:29 PM
The 2nd major will be missed again by the Blacklist Rivalry Dota 2 team. Yeah, full of disappointments from the fans of this team because they've been hyped in the SEA.

So, we're having Team SMG and Talon Esports to secure both slots of the three slots for the SEA DPC that will qualify to the Berlin majors.

While the last slot will be fighting for by Army Geniuses and Execration. So, which team do you think that will take the last secured slots to the Berlin?

They were hyped but the team is just newly formed. I think the fans have too high expectations from this team but in reality, they were just together for this season. There will be lots of adjustments needed and maybe some player replacement. Hopefully they can duplicate their success from their other e-sports team.
Yeah, the fans have expected a lot from them because they're all experienced players in the SEA but then still fell short on 2 major qualifiers. Maybe, on the 3rd one they'll be able to qualify or with some minors.

There's the history of the owner of the team that they disbands whenever they didn't able to qualify in majors so, I am expecting that they might disband eventually if results are always like this.
1198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I never use wallet like a bank on: March 30, 2023, 01:43:53 PM
I appreciate your concern but those mobile wallet app users are just like desktop users, if they know what wallet app they've downloaded, kept the keys on safe then there's not that much difference but only the device they use upon accessing the wallets that they have.

Even the desktop wallet users are also targeted by hackers, these hackers, phishing methods and other types of reverse engineering, they're all targeting us and they don't mind whether we're desktop or mobile users.

so be careful, start saving now, buy a laptop and create bitcoin wallet there, don't trust too much on your android because you being wathed by hacker.
Much better to save and buy a hardware wallet. But either goes effective as long as the user knows how to use them properly whether it's a mobile wallet that has keys, the same with desktop wallets and also for hardware wallets.

It doesn't asks me for any captcha on my end. But when I try to search for some random address, it loads slowly. So, I guess that there's really a problem on them, on their server.

Do you use a VPN?

Have you tried to change your IP through resetting your modem?
