121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have patience to count from 1 to 100? on: August 01, 2021, 06:21:49 PM
If you fall short of patience, expect it already that you will end up in regret if ever things went well for that stuffed you are planning to wait on for. It is quite a good question, are you patient enough to count from 1 to 100 because even though it is senseless, easy and just a small act, you can already see if a person has enough patience to endure hardships and boredom while waiting for their target. Those who you see successful nowadays are those people who went through a lot yet they were able to wait patiently because they know that in the end, it will all be worth it.
122  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do ALL vaccines kill people? on: August 01, 2021, 06:02:11 PM
It is still a mystery I think if the vaccine is real and effective or detrimental and deadly. The signs and the proofs will show up years after the vaccine has been given to many and it will be clear to all of us if it is really served as an extra protection from the virus or it just caused the virus or other illnesses to be more effective on the vaccinated ones. Nevertheless, I think the government should not only work on gathering the vaccine but also with regards to the freedom we all have right before the vaccine was announced to be voluntary which appears now to be forcefully given to the people through authorizations you might not get if you don't have a vaccine yet.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel like there is no way to keep up on: August 01, 2021, 05:38:15 PM
I don't think it is necessary that we keep up with the price movement of bitcoin, instead we should know how we can follow through on every adjustment it is making. If the value is going down, obviously you do not need to lower down your investment, instead you should maximize it specially if it is a hard dip. On the other hand, if the value is rising and you have a good holding at that moment, then it is very much clear that you were able to keep up. Always mind what are the things you can do to mix in with the adjustments as you adopt each new price that bitcoin is having.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT(NON FUNGIBLE TOKEN)... which are the best to invest in 2021? on: August 01, 2021, 05:23:01 PM
just find NFT that really beneficial like axies, or something like that, art NFT is rarely good for investment but an nft that's useful for in game usually is good for invest.
also, dont expect too much from nft if its not game based nft, although it may be priced high but if there is no demand then whats the use, different to nft game it has demand from the game itself.
That is the logic with NFT tokens that involves games like Axie Infinity, the game offers you a chance to earn your own token that's why the demand for it keeps on increasing each day. If you are just going to involve yourself on NFT tokens that doesn't have a game, it will all be about holding and speculating the price changes. Axie Infinity has been the talk of the town for the past few months and many people are getting encouraged daily as they witness many people's life changing due to the high profit the game offers. If you are already playing it, do not waste your opportunity and start earning as much as you can.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your news about Crypto? on: August 01, 2021, 04:40:16 PM
With regards to news about crypto, I usually use Coingecko whenever I want to see an update on how the coins that I am currently eyeing and investing to is doing. I also get myself updated through bitcointalk wherein as I explore and look for a topic I can relate and share my thoughts with, I can easily get an idea on what's best to do with regards to the current situation. I find it very essential that staying updated about how is the market is currently doing because it can give you a hint or an idea of the best course of action with consideration to your current situation.
126  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I don't object to a Covid immunity passport. on: August 01, 2021, 04:15:26 PM
We live in a free world but then, you can say that we aren't still free. Our freedom doesn't end just with the law buy what the government defines it to be. You can imagine how a person's concern for his wellbeing and what is good for him or her could set a whole level of limits as to what he or she could do or not. Even with the pointing evidence that, the yvaccines being distributed are only relatively safe and one can develop some sortnof natural immunity later, its just of no use to the government.
All that is of concern us how to justify for the life that has been claimed and the funds that went down the sink hole of the pandemic for which, many still doubt if it is real. Having several doses of an unsure vaccine, pumping money into the wrong wallet and still not getting infected is no guarantee. I wonder what vaccination in our world today and where is the world getting with this!
The vaccination of many people in the world right now is not because of their free will, the government is already putting force through restrictions for people who doesn't have the vaccine yet. It seems like a false hope being given to many wherein as the number of people who are vaccinated is much greater than those who hasn't yet, we can already consider ourselves saved from the virus. We shouldn't forget that the virus is evolving and new variants would keep on appearing wherein the vaccine might be considered senseless because of its existence. Let us give the people freedom to choose whether they want to get vaccinated or not, they have their own reasons for sure.
127  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scam calling on: August 01, 2021, 03:52:29 PM
It is very important that all of us, not only for the newbies, that we are knowledgeable when it comes to different forms of scams. We are all aware how scammers works, some of them are not that good and can easily be identified while some of them keeps on improving as their schemes keeps on getting discovered. If you would choose to disregard all of this, you will be prone and vulnerable to losing your money so always choose to be updated and be extra careful when making transactions with strangers and choose not to trust them easily.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Bitcoin on: August 01, 2021, 03:24:52 PM
I opened my phone and turned on the Internet connection in it and I was bombarded by notifications, Gmail spams, Facebook notifications, Messenger chats and others but one thing that piqued my interest was this article in Google News. It talks about how bitcoin should be banned or something, I tried to read the whole article but I feel like it's just a rant about how bitcoin is worthless and the value of it is based on faith in reality it's the same as fiat, it's just that it's backed by the government that's why it has value, I mean if you go back to bronze age and you ask for a blacksmith to make you a sword and you pay the blacksmith a piece of paper telling the blacksmith that it has value, the blacksmith would probably laugh at you and just give you the sword for free since you aren't right on the head.

Here's the link to that article: https://thehill.com/opinion/cybersecurity/564696-bye-bye-bitcoin-time-to-ban-crypto-currencies
If you've been unfortunate with your journey in bitcoin, you should not spread FUDs to others so that you can pull them together with you. Bitcoin has a long way to go and there are a lot of things that are about to happen in the future. Always make sure you are doing the right thing as well as following the process with integrity so that you can really reach where you want to go in the future. You cannot claim all by yourself that bitcoin will end due to the threats of getting banned by other countries. Always be mindful with your predictions so that other people would appreciate your thoughts you are putting here.
129  Economy / Economics / Re: Can blockchain replace the traditional banking system? on: August 01, 2021, 02:46:54 PM
When it comes to blockchain replacing the traditional banking system, I don't think we should seek after it cause it may work well if the two would collaborate on making things effective for the investors. Obviously, the traditional banking system is under the government's property which means they have control towards it as well as the ability to shut it down and that may happen if blockchain technology will get involved in it cause most of the people in the government is against it. Nevertheless, we should seek for improvement towards both always.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could crypto replace government? on: July 31, 2021, 09:55:53 PM
A possibility just crossed my mind, after thinking about what McAfee said - could crypto replace government?

Let's say every person owned a smart contract cryptocurrency like Ethereum (or Cardano, Polkadot, etc.)

If somehow it were designed in such a way that each person only had one vote and there were no centralized developers, we would have a pure democracy.

Payment for local services could be decided based on smart contracts (defense, firefighting, police, licensing, etc.)

Popularity contests would no longer decide politics. Social justice warriors would no longer be able to assault companies to bending to their will - people would remain anonymous.

Privacy would again be valued.

Crooked politicians and bribes would no longer allow politicians to slip in devastating legislation like the recent "infrastructure "bill's attempt to control all of crypto.

Our currencies could no longer be devalued to pay elite politicians' friends in the financial industries.

Could such a system of government work?
I think that would be too much for our speculation about crypto. Indeed it is a coin that could adopt to many changes yet it still has limitations on what it can only do for you in your life. The government functions mainly to maintain peace and order for everyone in the country and to exhibit fairness as well as solutions that is much needed by the country. Crypto's function is so far away from ruling people, you cannot expect them to simply smile and get excited upon ruling a nation. It may innovate more in the future yet I don't think it can ever change its current function.
131  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you a healthy unvaccinated person? on: July 31, 2021, 05:53:15 PM
Then you should stay that way, and resist enforced vaccination. We are starting to see the damage that vaccination is doing to the nation's health, and at some point there will be a financial reckoning. A large reference group of healthy unvaccinated peope will provide evidence for the claims by those crippled by untested vaccination. It may take years for all the side effects to become apparent.
It is also quite alarming how the government is manipulating everyone to get vaccinated even if it is against their will. There are plans wherein only the vaccinated ones will be allowed to go outside and for me, they just became untrue to their words about saying that getting the vaccine is voluntary. As of now, I consider myself as a healthy unvaccinated individual. It just makes it hard to be convincing that a certain illness that recently showed up has a vaccine already yet there are a lot of diseases wherein a cure nor a vaccinated wasn't made yet. Who knows what detrimental effect the vaccine might give to people as years goes by.
132  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unintentional plagiarism on: July 31, 2021, 05:33:04 PM
Plagiarism is an act of stealing intellectual property from someone and it can never be justified by any reasons. You should be responsible on creating your own thoughts and make sure that if ever you will mention some of their words, it is properly cited in order to avoid plagiarism. In the forum, there will be instances wherein even though you are genuinely certain that you did not imitate others idea, your post will still be deleted or reported. It is at some point hard to make up an idea that originated from you completely cause most of the things we post comes from other people's collaborated idea and expressed by us based on how we understood it.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what's with "axie infinity"? on: July 31, 2021, 05:11:34 PM
In the past few days, Axie Infinity has gone up quite significantly, even in one week, reaching more than 200%.

fear in the future it will become a coin does not affect the market.

What do you think about the sustainability of this coin?

who knows it will change the status
Axie infinity has been the talk of the town for the past few montjs already and everyone is earning crazy amount of profit from it specially when the price of the coin is increasing. Considering the amount of success the game has achieved within just a short span of time, it wouldn't be surprising if it will be able to be set apart from the market as well as being a coin that will not affect the market. There are still a lot of things that might happen but for now, those who were able to access and play the game will benefit so if given one, don't waste it and be strategic about it too.
134  Economy / Economics / Re: If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, do you still choose fiat currency? on: July 31, 2021, 04:36:05 PM
It would depend on the current market situation I guess. It could be better if they will pay me in crypto or bitcoin to be specific if its value is high but if it is low or in the verge of falling down even more, I would then prefer fiat currency as a payment for my service. I think some company out there in the world are already practicing paying their employees cryptocurrency. Looking back with El Salvador's decision of making bitcoin a legal tender, there's a high possibility that it would work out well for them as their citizens gets more oriented to cryptocurrencies.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not invested then do it now... on: July 31, 2021, 04:07:15 PM
Let us not waste this opportunity anymore and start investing as much as we can specially right now that the market is down. We cannot really predict what will happen in the next few years but one thing is for sure, bitcoin will still prevail as well as the other altcoins that are currently doing good right now. There are many people who regretted not investing on bitcoin before since they doubted it and forced that it will end soon. Now look at them, working so hard on their regular jobs while the believers are earning easy money without even sweating. Just be patient, in bitcoin, it will always pay off.
136  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: July 31, 2021, 03:11:58 PM
The pandemic has been occuring for a long while already and just like any other issues, each and everyone of us has different opinions about it. Some would say that it is just a way of scaring people and it is not real at all while some would say that it is China's way of conquering the world. Nevertheless, no matter what are the facts about the virus, many people are suffering each day as the government abuse their power and let their greed take over. The pandemic is too far from ending since the government sees it as an opportunity to take advantage over many people's fear to gain more money and power.
137  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Die testate with your Bitcoin. Death is inevitable on: July 31, 2021, 02:20:43 PM
I guess not many people want to talk of death but we need to understand that it is inevitable to a living being including you. The word death is two edged sword, that is, it can touches the speaker and listener or reader. So desist from panicking at the instance of hearing death  Grin Just do what you need to do

The word death on the thread topic may have sent shivers down some people's spine but don't allow your coins add up to the lost coins. You sure know that some wallets today have lots of bitcoin that are regarded as lost because of no activity or transactions on them for longtime, maybe due to lost passwords or death. You want that to happen to your hard earned coins ?

So if we don't want that kind of experience that when you are no more on the earth, the people behind and your loved ones can go on enjoying your labour dying testate is making a will lol.

I have simply been saying the need to make our will on beneficiary(ies) of our coins. Cryptocurrency isn't just a push over because it has come to stay like other commodities. The volumes and marketcap keep rising, showing adoption, acceptability.

Remember bitcoin didn't just become $62k today but grew from very small satoshi , and just that way many altcoins will become very big in our life time and after we are gone. Therefore, secure your coins, inform your next of kin about it. You can write a will and die testate with your coins  Grin Grin

It has been an issue that has been talked about for a long time already. We cannot deny the fact that this needs attention because death is indeed something we can never predict from happening. After long years of earning from investing or trading in bitcoin, we would not like it to go to waste without having no one to benefit from it specially the reason why you worked hard for. I hope one day, there would be a system that allows us to transfer our earnings to someone we choose if ever a sudden death takes place together with a legal proofs that the owner of the bitcoin is legitimately dead.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from crypto in 2018 on: July 31, 2021, 01:44:43 PM
For those who was able to witness crypto last 2018, we all know how traumatic and stressful was the turn of event during that time. Everyone was very bountiful and felt like they will be able to reach their dreams of becoming a millionaire already during that time considering the bull run that made bitcoin's price go to new heights. Unfortunately, a bear market followed and lasted for many years and many lost their hope in crypto. We all learned how powerful crypto is specially bitcoin since it was able to come back stronger last year. If there is one important lesson we should learn about it is that patience could have brought us to greater heights if we waited for longer.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid in Bitcoin vs getting paid in Fiat on: July 31, 2021, 12:44:56 PM
Many people are getting paid in Bitcoin these days, as the cryptocurrency grows in popularity worldwide. A salary in Bitcoin is quite a lot different than Fiat. There's no middleman to go through, so the coins are deposited directly to your account without any ID verification whatsoever. Transactions take from minutes to hours in a completely anonymous manner (sort of). One might say it's easy to avoid taxes when getting paid in Bitcoin than getting paid in Fiat. After all, no one will know you own the coins unless you disclose it (or the government is able to link transactions to your identity). Yet, Bitcoin's highly unstable price makes it a terrible currency for day-to-day payments.

Which type of currency is better for paying employees? Is it Bitcoin or Fiat? Do you think we'll be able to see more jobs paying Bitcoin in the future? Or will Fiat still dominate the jobs industry? Is working for Bitcoin just like working "under the table"? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
I think it should depend on the employees preference. If they are not well aware or familiar to what bitcoin is, then they would recommend having their salary in the form of fiat and if the employee is knowledgeable enough with regards to bitcoin, then they would prefer receiving it on that currency then. If it is only for me, I would rather have my salary in fiat first, since bitcoin is at risk of going down more on the next few months. It will surely affect my living once that happens. If ever bitcoin is in good condition, I would then suggest having my salary in the form of bitcoin. Not only in the preference of the employee but also the timing you should rely your decision with.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to manage losses? on: July 30, 2021, 10:00:47 PM
to ensure that the losses are not greatly shocked, you need to first freeze up free money. then the loss is not so traumatic will affect your health.
Right before entering crypto, you should have made yourself aware and prepared already for the worst. We all know that crypto is risky so there will always be instances where you'll end up losing money but there will also be times where you'll gain. It is with your wiseness and strategies that makes the probability of winning increase more than to losing money. As I experience losses, I always make sure that I wouldn't be taken over of my emotion and keeps my composure proper. I think about how I can regain my losses and keep on looking for a good investment.
