-rescan is giving me "method not found (code -32601) LOL.
yes, ignore what he said about the debug windows, its totally wrong. you have to put it as argument when running bitcoin-qt. Sorry, I don't understand i guess your a winblows user. if you wanna do this it will take some basic knowledge, for example you could edit the bitcoin-qt shortcut with the paremeters set to -rescan or run it from cmd. since this is outside of your abilities you should take mufa23s or my over to restore it (i havent seen mufa scamming yet ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ) LMAO, while I wipe a tear from my eye. I went in CMD and started the rescan. It took me awhile to understand you, I haven't done anything in CMD since I went to school for electronics and computer Technology in 2005. I wanted to and tried to get into unbuntu etc but I am a gamer. LOL. It opened with "rescanning" and after a few minutes it finished and I have 1.01 BTC. I love you and giving you a internet reach around right now. LOL enjoy ur BTC, if you want you can send me a lil donation as thanks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

twice now after a couple of days the pi just refuses to talk, its pingable but otherwise dead, rebooting and it wont boot up. So hopefully it was a power problem.
That is a bit concerning, it will have something to do with the power though. I am running my 'developement' one off an apple USB power plug that came with a iPhone and have had no problems with it, 100+ days up now with 4 of those running a Butterfly Labs ASIC ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . its not your fault. if you cant SSH into it its stuck with a read/write operation on the SD card. since the kernel is in memory you can still ping it.

I have some kind of weird supposedly git thing,
diff --git a/contrib/Bitcoin.app/Contents/Resources/BitcoinAppIcon.icns b/contrib/Bitcoin.app/Contents/Resources/BitcoinAppIcon.icns
that supposedly is somehow to update the github source code for old-devcoin-qt
If you are talking about what I think you are talking about, it has nothing to do with old-devcoin-qt, but rather old-devcoin Ahh, you are changing the icons the wx-widgets GUI uses? I didn't think anyone could even compile the wxwidgets version anymore. Is that what your new release for windows is based on, the wxwidgets GUI? Actually I don't see corresponding directories in the old-devcoind-git either. -MarkM- my win build uses wx GUI since QT code is messed up bad...

I just copied the wallet from my main system and swapped it with the wallet I installed on my server. Blocks are done and still no BTC or transactions.
I think that wallet on my main system is still corupt, but I am using Comcast and I torrent, so P2P should be fine. I have no issues with the one I am running on my server. I am using the stand alone version on there though.
When I go in to recieve coins the address above is there just no BTC.
I do really appreciate the help you guys are giving.
run bitcoin-qt or bitcoind with -rescan, afterwards you get your coins back! EDIT: if you cant get it to work and trust my reputation i can send the coins to a new address for free if you want ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

.. how about creating a temporal key and sending it to this, afterwards send the DVC to the guy when he got a correct address and also change the addresses?
I don't want to be responsible for someone else's coins. If his key is not ready in time, I'll put myself on the list and then send the devcoins to him once he has an address, but I'd rather avoid that. ok, just saying since the system shouldnt be changed just because of 1 person that is too lazy (or whatever, dunno the case) to do its "job".

I'm having an issue with p2pool and my router. It's not a show-stopper but I was wondering if someone might have an idea what's going on or be able to work with me to work out what is going on.
Basically, anytime I turn on QOS, I appear to stop doing any useful work. cgminer trundles along, fans spin, heat generated, Unfortunately, it appears that that's all wasted. the debug output of p2pool says that it's punishing shares for being stale. On the pools graph page, the incoming part of peers and the p2p in on traffic rate drop to zero. For whatever reason, it looks like peers are no longer supplying me with useful information (?)
I've even set things so that p2pool and bitcoind are QOSed to the highest speed category just in case they were getting squashed that way but it still gives the same result.
I can leave QOS off for now but I'd like to get this working properly. I'm using Tomato so the configuration is fairly straightforward and easy. I'll post some pictures in a little bit for illustration. I can perform packet captures and other good stuff but I'm not up on the p2pool networking.
the only thing i've ever used in windows that i've found did a proper job of managing bandwidth was netlimiter the only thing that did almost a proper job is "format c: -y" what, netlimiter? why, because it installs some driver that you can disable on startup? i don't get the big deal with it i said on win only "format c: -y" does work almost proper ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Because I do not have a secure devcoin address from someone who's computer was hacked, the generation of the receiver files will be delayed again until block 90,100 or until I get an address, whichever comes first.
how about creating a temporal key and sending it to this, afterwards send the DVC to the guy when he got a correct address and also change the addresses?

This is not an "experiment." He is using a completely foreign interface to fleece newbie's of their Bitcoin. Why would just put a "make sure you read about Ripple" when someone is flat out trying to scam people? Why not just end the scam?
It's not a scam. He shows that Ripple concept is flawed in the essence. Banks work the same way. corret, and a BTCTalk mod helps Ripple. this is getting really sad...

I think one of the greatest aspects of Bitcoin is that you can tip anyone, anywhere, anytime, for any amount and I suspect one day all youtube videos and blog posts will end in a QR code, and QR Code posters will be set up at the exits of school plays etc...
I'm curious if this is currently happening frequently. For those of you who have addresses in your signature, or post on reddit, have you been tipped?
happend to me quite some times since i helped ppl fixing their problems or answering questions, mainly the Development & Technical Discussion board. Sweet, glad to hear theres a friendly community here. If only there was a fitness and nutrition board here for me to help at ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) its rare, but happens ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) just keep on trying/hoping ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
